• Find workspace location using ANT

  I'm working on a build script in the Flash Builder version of Eclipse. This build script needs to import launch configuration .launch files into the user's workspace. However there doesn't seem to be an available ANT var for determining the workspace location. While stepping through the available vars with intellisense I noticed that ${osgi.instance.area} does point to my current workspace but when I tried to echo it back in a running ant script it just spat out "${osgi.instance.area}" and not the path. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

I am using the following query in the DAO to help me load in to the database: entityManager.createQuery("LOAD DATA INFILE :fileName INTO TABLE test").setParameter("fileName", "C:\\samples\\test\\abcd.csv").executeUpdate(); I got some idea to use this from http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/load-data.html and how to import a csv file into a mysql from an hibernate+spring application? • Handling Datetime with decimal '2010-02-14 20:18:58.313000000'

  In SQL Server I have some textual data in varchar fields I am trying to convert to datetime's. The funny thing is this data at some point was in a datetime field, exported to flat file, and now I am reimporting it. The problem is it is in this format 2010-02-14 20:18:58.313000000 and the conversion to datetime fails. I have no idea how it ended up like this when it was originally extracted from a datetime column. Basically a table was exported to a flat file by someone else. The original table was lost. I am reimporting back from the flatfile. I could just drop the decimal but this would be like throwing out some of the data. I'd like to maintain as much precision as possible. How can I import this data from the varchar column back into a datetime column and preserve as much accuracy as possible?

  I have simple SSIS package where I import data from flat file into sql table(MS sql 2005). File contains 70k rows and table has no primary key. Importing is sucessful but when I open sql table the order of rwos is different from the that of file. After observing closely I see that data in table is sorted by default by first column. Why this is happening? and how I can avoid default sort? Thanks.

I have a few types I'd like to insert into each record: A float, and then 3 groups of n floats, currently a tuple but could be an array or list.. I'm not well-enough versed in Python to understand all the differences. My problem is the INSERT statement.   I have a database framework where I have two tables. The first table has a single column that is an identity and primary key. The second table contains two columns. One is a nvarchar primary key and the other is a nullable foreign key to the first table. On the default import of the database I get the following error: Condition cannot be specified for Column member 'ForeignKeyId' because it is marked with a 'Computed' or 'Identity' StoreGeneratedPattern. where ForeignKeyId is the second foreign key reference in the second table. Is this just something the entity model doesn't do? Or am I missing something?

• Preview result of update/insert query whithout comitting changes to database in MySQL?

  I am writing a script to import CSV files into existing tables within my database. I decided to do the insert/update operations myself using PHP and INSERT/UPDATE statements, and not use MySQL's LOAD INFILE command, I have good reasons for this. What I would like to do is emulate the insert/update operations and display the results to the user, and then give them the option of confirming that this is OK, and then committing the changes to the database. I'm using InnoDB database engine with support for transactions. Not sure if this helps but was thinking down the line of insert/update, query data, display to user, then either commit or rollback transaction? Any advise would be appreciated.

• TortoiseSVN shows red ! decorator for folder, but no files within it are marked with !

  I'm new to SVN. I'm using the latest version (svn 1.6.9, TortoiseSVN 1.6.7.18415). Some folders who a red exclamation point next to them. If I drill down, I find a sub folder with ! as well but no files within that are marked with ! (all are either a green checkmark or no icon (because they are Ignored (like .exe files) . What I've tried: Cleanup {reported success} Add {reports nothing to add. All files either under version control has been ignored per the .ignore property. Commit {succeeds} SVNupdate {succeeds} Restarted computer. Some oddities: -I had a bunch of CVS folders (these files were copied over from a PC that was using CVS but we don't need that version history so I didn't import it into SVN). I deleted those CVS\ folders and they are showing up (as unversioned files) when I CheckIn. Any ideas?

The problem now is that there are some variables in a controller, created for one page, that are required for an other page ( with a different controller). Therefor i need to load one controller into the other one. I did this by adding App::import('Controller', 'sections'); $sections= new sectionsController; $sections-constructClasses(); to the controller, but this doens't seem to work.. • Why can't my main class see the array in my calender class

  This is a homework problem. I'm already 5 days late and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.. this is my 1st semester in Java and my first post on this site Here is the assignment.. Create a class called Calendar. The class should contain a variable called events that is a String array. The array should be created to hold 5 elements. Use a constant value to specify the array size. Do not hard code the array size. Initialize the array in the class constructor so that each element contains the string “ – No event planned – “. The class should contain a method called CreateEvent. This method should accept a String argument that contains a one-word user event and an integer argument that represents the day of the week. Monday should be represented by the number 1 and Friday should be represented by the number 5. Populate the events array with the event info passed into the method. Although the user will input one-word events, each event string should prepend the following string to each event: event_dayAppoinment: (where event_day is the day of the week) For example, if the user enters 1 and “doctor” , the first array element should read: Monday Appointment: doctor If the user enters 2 and “PTA” , the second array element should read: Tuesday Appointment: PTA Write a driver program (in a separate class) that creates and calls your Calendar class. Then use a loop to gather user input. Ask for the day (as an integer) and then ask for the event (as a one word string). Pass the integer and string to the Calendar object’s CreateEvent method. The user should be able enter 0 – 5 events. If the user enters -1, the loop should exit and your application should print out all the events in a tabular format. Your program should not allow the user to enter invalid values for the day of the week. Any input other than 1 – 5 or -1 for the day of the week would be considered invalid. Notes: When obtaining an integer from the user, you will need to use the nextInt() method on your Scanner object. • SSIS - Parallel Execution of Tasks - How efficient is it?

  I am building an SSIS package that will contain dozens of Sequence tasks. Each Sequence task will contain three tasks. One to truncate a destination table and remove indexes on the table, another to import data from a source table, and a third to add back indexes to the destination table. My question is this. I currently have nine of these Sequences tasks built, and none are dependent on any of the others. When I execute the package, SSIS seems to do a pretty good job of determining which tasks in which Sequence to execute, which, by the way, appears to be quite random. As I continue adding more Sequences, should I attempt to be smarter about how SSIS should execute these Sequences, or is SSIS smart enough to do it itself? Thanks.

How do I manage to use wait() & how do I know when one of my executable is finished generating the result to get the result? • Sending the variable's content to my mailbox in Python?

  I have asked this question here about a Python command that fetches a URL of a web page and stores it in a variable. The first thing that I wanted to know then was whether or not the variable in this code contains the HTML code of a web-page: from google.appengine.api import urlfetch url = "http://www.google.com/" result = urlfetch.fetch(url) if result.status_code == 200: doSomethingWithResult(result.content) The answer that I received was "yes", i.e. the variable "result" in the code did contain the HTML code of a web page, and the programmer who was answering said that I needed to "check the Content-Type header and verify that it's either text/html or application/xhtml+xml". I've looked through several Python tutorials, but couldn't find anything about headers. So my question is where is this Content-Type header located and how can I check it? Could I send the content of that variable directly to my mailbox? Here is where I got this code. It's on Google App Engines.

• How do I mock a custom field that is deleted so that south migrations run?

  I have removed an app that contained a couple of custom fields from my project. Now when I try to run my migrations I get ImportError, naturally. These fields were very basic customizations like below: from django.db.models.fields import IntegerField class SomeField(IntegerField): def get_internal_type(self): return "SomeField" def db_type(self, connectio=None): return 'integer' def clean(self, value): # some custom cleanup pass So, none of them contain any database level customizations. When I removed this code, I've created migrations so the subsequent migration all ran fine. But when I try to run them on a pre-deletion database I realized my mistake. I can re-create a bare-bones app and make these imports work, but Ideally I would like to know if South has a mechanism to resolve these issues? Or is there any best practises? It would be cool if I could solve these issues just by modifying my migrations and not touching the codebase. (Django 1.3, South 0.7.3)

The final step is actually installing Wordpress, which usually involves pointing your browser to install.php and filling out a form in the GUI.   I have a web service deployed on tomcat hosted on a remote server. I have set it up such that it can be accessed only via HTTPS. For this, I generated a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and used it to get a temporary certificate from VeriSign. My web service client is on my local machine. If I try to access the service it will throw a javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:unable to find valid certification path to requested target If I install the certificate in to local Java's keystore, the issue will be resolved. My question is if I install a valid SSL certificate from a CA in to my tomcat server, will I get this client-side error even if I do not import the certificate to local key store?

I have a Note model class like this: class Note(models.Model): author = models.ForeignKey(User, related_name='notes') content = NoteContentField(max_length=256) NoteContentField is a custom sub-class of CharField that override the to_python method in purpose of doing some twitter-text-conversion processing. class NoteContentField(models.CharField): __metaclass__ = models.SubfieldBase def to_python(self, value): value = super(NoteContentField, self).to_python(value) from ..utils import linkify return mark_safe(linkify(value)) However, this doesn't work. When I save a Note object like this: note = Note(author=request.use, content=form.cleaned_data['content']) The conversed value is saved into the database, which is not what I wanna see. Would you please tell me what's wrong with this? Thanks in advance.

• P2 Touchpoint chmod not working?

  I'm using Eclipse 3.5.2 and I've created a p2.inf with the following information: instructions.install = \ chmod(targetDir:@artifact,targetFile:$os$/libfoo.so,permissions:755); instructions.install.import= \ org.eclipse.equinox.p2.touchpoint.natives.chmod I placed the p2.inf inside the META-INF folder of the fragment, but when I install the update site, libfoo.so does not have execute permissions. After pulling my hair out, I tried a p2.inf referencing a non-existing *.so, but nothing seems to happen. No error messages, exceptions, or warnings of any kind to indicate the P2 touchpoint action failed... What's the deal? Any ideas?
