  I am wondered why there is no generalized parser combinators for Bottom-up parsing in Haskell like a Parsec combinators for top down parsing.   I'm thinking of creating a multi-tenant app using MongoDB. I don't have any guesses in terms of how many tenants I'd have yet, but I would like to be able to scale into the thousands. I can think of three strategies: All tenants in the same collection, using tenant-specific fields for security 1 Collection per tenant in a single shared DB 1 Database per tenant The voice in my head is suggesting that I go with option 2. • How to search Jar files using Windows Search?

  I believe back when we were on Win2K, Windows Search would search through Jar files to locate specific classes but this doesn't appear to work in XP. Does anyone know how to enable this in XP? Note, to do the search in Win2K we just entered *.jar for the files and "ClassABC" for the search text string and the search would return any jar files containing class files where the title contained "ClassABC".

So, if I have a command named: spec I want to know where I configure my bash to always use: spec -c --format nested instead of just 'spec' I tried to put this like an alias on my .bashrc file, like: alias spec='spec -c --format pretty' but didn't work.   I have created and am working on a server-application that monitors for specific folders and takes appropriate actions whenever files are being added. Now I come to the point where I want to be able to shutdown the program, for example for applying a patch. The server runs simply in a command prompt, how can I signal that I want to perform maintenance on it? I do not think reading System.In is feasible as I am also outputting text in the prompt.   From what I have researched it is not possible to change the Timezone of a thread. So my question is why can't you? I would have thought switching your application's culture to a specific country would also switch this, seems like expected behaviour IMO.
