    Hello, What algorithm I can use for problem like this: Have a graph positive weighted, i want to know a smallest possible sum of weights where each node are connected (connected like a network, where each node is a eg. network device). In this network each node can be connected with other node by some other other nodes in way. But all nodes from input graph must be in a network. Any one can help me with this?

    Hello everyone, I am using SQL Server 2008 Enterprise DB and using the new Merge statement (when source and target are both SQL Server 2008 DB tables), and it works well. I have another database table which is hosted in SQL Server 2005 Enterprise DB. I want to know whether Merge statement could using one table of SQL Server 2008 as source, and another tableof SQL Server 2005 as target? The two databases may not exist on the same machine. thanks in advance, George

  • Projection on a plane using a 2*3 matrix

    Hello, I can easily draw the projection of a 3D set of points onto the plane with normal vector (1,1,1), by using the matrix (-sqrt(3)/2 sqrt(3)/2 0) (-1/2 -1/2 1). I want to do the same thing, but for a projection onto an arbitrary plane with normal vector (a,b,c) instead of (1,1,1). How to find the matrix? Thanks in advance!

    Hello, I'm using the setFlash and hasFlash methods of symfony 1.4 with WAMP 2.0 Locally with my frontend_dev app, all work fine. But in production environment, my test $this->forward404Unless($user->hasFlash('resultsArray')); fails. I thought that the flash methods where enabled by default.     Hello How can I use the update() method on a single model which I retrieved via Queryset.get() ? It seems like model. Model doesn't have an update() method yet I cannot invoke .save() as I have a pre-save signals which messes things up. EDIT: An idea would be passing some parameter to the save method and catching it at the pre_save signal, so that I can understand the purpose, how can this be done ? Thanks

Assume I call a function, e.g., def foo(): x = 'hello world' How do I get the function to return x in such a way that I can use it as the input for another function or use the variable within the body of a program?
