  • using KVO to filter an NSTableView using NSPredicate (with arrays)

    My UI is not updating when I expect it to. The application displays "projects" using a view similar to iTunes -- a source list on the left lets you filter a list (NSTableView) on the right. My filters update properly when they are examining any simple field (like name, a string), but not for arrays (like tags). I'm removing a tag from one of my objects (from an NSMutableArray field called "tags") and I expect it to disappear from the list because it no longer matches the predicate that is bound to my table's NSArrayController. ProjectBrowser.mm: self.filter = NSPredicate* srcPredicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"%@ IN %K", selectedTag, @"tags"]; Project.mm: [self willChangeValueForKey:@"tags"]; [tags removeAllObjects]; [self didChangeValueForKey:@"tags"]; I've also tried this, but the result is the same: [[self mutableArrayValueForKey:@"tags"] removeAllObjects]; Interface Builder setup: a ProjectBrowser object is the XIB's File Owner an NSArrayController (Project Controller) has its Content Array bound to "File's Owner".projects Project Controller's filter predicate is bound to "File's Owner".filter NSTableView's column is bound to "Project Controller".name

    I have an Xcode project that contains many sub-projects. The main project file and all sub-projects have the same xcconfig file. Some of the sub-projects currently have a build rule set on them to use the Intel compiler for C++ files. I'm wondering if there is a way to move this build rule into the xcconfig file so that I can easily turn on or off the Intel compiler for C++ files by changing just the one xcconfig file instead of having to modify the build rule for each sub-project

  • My app does not seem to find my button from the UI file

    What i did: create a project, edited the ui file with the designer tool, ran the project, everything is ok tried to add to my cppfile: connect( pushButton_bracketBegin, SIGNAL( clicked() ), this, SLOT( pushButton_bracketBeginAction() ) ); but i get the error "‘pushButton_bracketBegin’ was not declared in this scope". this is my first project in qt and it should be fairly simple i guess (but yet out of my grasp ) :) appreciate the help

It seems that the problem is in the function WebForm_OnSubmit() that is inserted to the form after PropertyProxyValidator adding. ( ... <form name="aspnetForm" method="post" action="Project.aspx?TransType=NewProject" onsubmit="javascript:return WebForm_OnSubmit();" ...>) Could anyone help, please.

  • How to use a VB usercontrol on a C# page?

    Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction. I've created a usercontrol in VB that handles paging more efficiently than the DataPager (at least for very large datasets). I'd like to use it in a C# project, but I've been having trouble getting it to work. I've tried simply adding PagingControl.ascx to the C# project, but when I do that the markup and VB code behind don't seem to see each other. --Is this a namespace issue? I've tried adding the PagingControl.ascx to its own VB project, then adding that project to the C# project's solution, as well as a reference. --That almost works. I can register the PagingControl usercontrol in the markup. I can access the usercontrol's properties in the code behind, but any property that involves the UI of the usercontrol fails. Its seems as if the usercontrol's form hasn't had a chance to load by the time the C# page's Page_Load event handler fires. --Maybe this is an "order of operations" problem? At what point in the C# page's lifetime should a usercontrol's form be loaded? If anyone has any ideas or insight, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
