  Would it be possible to take the source code from a SNES emulator (or any other game system emulator for that matter) and a game ROM for the system, and somehow create a single self-contained executable that lets you play that particular ROM without needing either the individual rom or the emulator itself to play? Would it be difficult, assuming you've already got the rom and the emulator source code to work with?

All the google searches gave me scrolling effects but with no fading effect. I know that this can be done in flash but im avoiding it if there are other solutions.   I have a Mac Java app bundle that has problems opening an OpenGL window from a SWT dialog in a single process. It just doesn't work. To solve this problem I would like to open a SWT dialog in one instance of the Java app and then have it launch another instance of itself with a parameter saying "this time open the OpenGL window". The part I don't know how to do is finding out what "itself" is on a Mac. How can I do that?

• How can I stop cruise control re-building after a failed build?

  I got back from the weekend to discover that somebody *ahem* had missed a file commit last thing Friday afternoon... Cruise control has been having fun, and tried to re-build every five minutes since then despite no further commits. This means that my colleagues and I have received approximately six hojillion emails from cruise control. A single fail email would be more than enough to notify us. Is there any way to stop cruise control building on failure, at least until a new commit occurs?

Currently I want to separate the app server and db server, so I create a jdbc datasource to point to mysql server, but it doesn't works as expect, by the way, when I create datasource to point to local machine (glassfish app server and mysql db server in single machine), and It works well. Is there any configuration I need to care of when pointing datasource to different machine which I use to host my database (MySQL 5.1)?
