  We have recently got some preconfigured ready-to-use computers. During some checks, I saw a strange bar located between address bar and toolbar in Windows Explorer. • Redirecting access from a domain name to IP:port

  Right now I have a server running on IP:Port. If I wanted to use DNS but redirect to the port, how would I do so? I've heard that it's possible, but how would I do so, even if it includes creating something such as a proxy? For example, visiting: domain.tld would instead access IP:Port and the port could be anything I wanted it to be. If no direct solution exist, how would I go along using a "VirtualHost"?

  I am using Ubuntu 10.04, kernel 2.6.32-21-generic, with Evolution 2.83.3. I have noticed that when I get a new email, it never shows a new mail icon in the panel. I had the same problem with 9.10, and I thought the problem would go away when I upgraded to 10.04. I have checked the properties in Mail preferences: Play sound - yes Display a notification - yes Indicate new messages in panel - yes Many thanks for any suggestions.

• Computer doesn't boot with Entertainmen Keyboard 8000?

  I have a Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 8000, and when the charger/usb-hub is connected, the computer won't start. All I get is the bios boot screen, and it won't go further. But if I disconnect either the usb-cable or the power-cable to the charger the computer boots normally. Any suggestions as to what's causing this behaviour? I've tried the charger on two different computers with the same result.

  I've mapped my domain users to a remote share, and I'm trying to get rid of the security warning that appears whenever a file is run from the remote share. I've tried adding the FQDN to the intranet list with no prevail and I'm starting to go crazy. I've also turned off IE Enhanced Security Configuration for both Admins and Users. • How to increase fast-forward/rewind on Vista Media Center recorded TV shows?

• XP: cannot assign a letter to a FAT32 partition

  I have an external hard disk, where I have created many partitions to use also in Linux. The first two partitions are FAT32. The third is a Truecrypt Partition. I cannot assign a letter to the second partition. When I go to Manage disk and make right clic on the unassigned partition, most of the items are not enables.
