    Scenario: I've network multihoming (dual ISP) setup. each ISP bandwidth 500Mbps Currently ISP-A link bandwidth almost fully utilized then the second ISP-B link From our investigation, it is because youtube server cache response to link ISP-A. Some time the utilization of link ISP B increased because at that time youtube server cached is response to ISP B. My question how/Why did this happen? how do I force youtube cache server using ISP link B?

  • how to copy files without showing dos window

    I have the following code to copy files sprintf(command, "copy /Y %s %s", sourceFile, targetFile); system(command); It works except for the dos window showing up which is very annoying. I am trying to use CreateProcess() (with an #ifdef for WINNT), but not sure how to setup the command line for the same. Any other options for copying files in C (on windows) without showing dos window?

    I have a removable device setup so it autoruns when plugged into a Windows machine and pops up a message giving the owner's information, so it can be returned if lost. Is there a way to do this in Linux as well? It doesn't need to be complex, it can be an option in a right-click menu, or a splashscreen, or anything.

  • Want to check fields for data fast.

    We have a database setup that consists of two parts: a static structure, and dynamic additions. For each database, the dynamic can be different, and sometimes we don't have data for all the dynamic fields. Rigt now, we check for empties by looking at the total count of records in the entire table, but we want to move to a more refined method of checking for empties if possible. Is it possible to quickly check through several hundred fields and see which ones are empty and which ones are populated?

I've looked around and there's not really much info on setting up the headers, librarys and frameworks. I just need to know where to extract them from the sdk and where to place them on my iPhone. The website which is hosted on a different server explains the usage of the app, shows a tour, plans, contains a blog on related stuff and so on. I want to route to my_domain/app and the app should respond to that url. The custom_domain add-on doesnt allow to enter directories. How can I configure that or how would you realize that scenario?

Currently, I'm doing this using PHP but having a LAMP stack for this seems overkill. I've tried things like autoHotkey but the syntax and functionality is horrific.   • Can I use php's fwrite with 644 file permissions?

  • JIRA or Trac?

    I used Atlassian JIRA for bug and issue tracking at my last job. I absolutely loved it and it was particularly easy on the eyes. My present company is using Trac instead, and while it does do all the basics, I am finding it really lacking, particularly with the inability to easily setup multiple projects and link issues. Oh, and the fact that it uses SQLLite is a bit of an issue for me to. Does anyone have any other good reasons to switch?
