• Can someone provide a short code example of compiler bootstrapping?

  This Turing award lecture by Ken Thompson on topic "Reflections on Trusting Trust" gives good insight about how C compiler was made in C itself. Though I understand the crux, it still hasn't sunk in. So ultimately, once the compiler is written to do lexical analysis, parse trees, syntax analysis, byte code generation etc, a separate machine code is again written to do all that on compiler? Can anyone please explain with a small example of the procedure? Bootstrapping on wiki gives good insights, but only a rough view on it. PS: I am aware of the duplicates on the site, but found them to be an overview which I am already aware

  Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (12.1) is now certified on Windows Server 2008 (32-bit) and Windows Server 2008 R2 running as guest operating systems within Window Server 2012 Hyper-V virtual machines. Hyper-V is a built-in feature of Microsoft Windows Server that allows for the creation and management of virtualized computing environments. StreamInsight is, ultimately, a set of programming tools, and at some point it takes a programmer to implement a StreamInsight solution. But it really should be possible to get a handle on what StreamInsight is all about even if you’re not a programmer yourself. A new article published in the TechNet Wiki may be able to help: StreamInsight for Non-Programmers. It gives an overview of the technology, but it leaves out the C# references and relates StreamInsight to more familiar SQL databases and queries. Check it out. When you’re done there and are ready to dig a little deeper, take a look at Get Started with StreamInsight 2.1. • Ops Center Update 2 is available!

  Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center Release 1, Update 2 (12.1.2.0.0) is available. This release includes support for Oracle Solaris 11.1 and Oracle Linux 6.3, the ability to attach a network multiple times to an LDom guest using the same vswitch, support for HMP 2.2.3, improved options for adding users from remote directory servers, and a few other useful features. A list of new features is in What's New. You can view the documentation online, or you can download a zip file of the library from the Overview tab. If you're running Ops Center in connected mode, the updates are delivered to the UI. If you are in disconnected mode or have not yet installed Ops Center, you can go to the Ops Center download page to get the latest release. Before installing or upgrading to Ops Center 12c Update 2, review the Release Notes for things to watch out for, then see the upgrade instructions in the Administration Guide.

• Business not showing up on right hand side of google search

  The business I work has currently has a verified business Google+ page and in the past this page has shown up as a thumbnail during Google searches. The thumbnail brings up basic information such as our picture and operating hours etc. However, since verifying the business page, the thumbnail overview of our business does not seem to show up anymore. I have tried Google searching our business on several computers and it still just brings up the normal search results. Is there a setting I need to activate in order for the thumbnail to appear? Thanks
