• Django limit access by group only

  I only you can limit what a user can do via the user permissions in admin.. But is there a way to limit them in admin via what group you add them to? I want to allow a certain group to do everything in that model if they belong to a certain group thanks!

  I like my vim to get itself into command mode as often as possible. I think losing focus would be a good event to make that happen. Everything I found is for saving on lost focus. I'd like it to auto-return to cmd mode when switching tabs in macvim or when cmd+tabbing to another app.

  I am looking for a way to direct all the jetty 7 logging to syslog. My current configuration dumps everything to JETTY_HOME/logs/.. After some initial ivestigation, it seems I should change JETTY_HOME/etc/jetty-logging.xml, but this does not look straightforward. It looks like I should create a new PrintStream implementation which sends its output to syslog and redirecting stderr and stdout to that class in jetty-logging.xml. any easier way to do that or to make jetty log directly to log4j ?   Hi I have set up ubercart on a site and everything seems ok when adding products and viewing the catalog page however when I click on the product the product view does not include the product image or the price. I have have enabled all fields in admin/store/settings/products/edit/fields however this does not seem to change anything (SKU etc not displayed either, only description, size options, add to cart button and link to category) Can anyone suggest why these may not be showing, Am I looking at completely the wrong config screen?   I've want to match any occurrence of a search term (or list of search terms) within the tags of a document. My current solution uses preg (within a Joomla plugin) $pattern = '/matchthisterm/i'; $article->text = preg_replace($pattern,"<span class=\"highlight\">\\0</span>",$article->text); But this replaces everything within the HTML of the document so I need to match the tags first. Is this even the best way to achieve this?

Then I moved it to my webserver, changed the config file, changed the "localhost" occurences in my SQL file to my online URL. I also changed my database prefix from what I had locally on all tables and in the config file. Everything works well on the outside.   I've made no changes to the django project after running django-admin.py startproject Twingle When I run the local web server using python manage.py runserver, I can view the splash page telling me everything is working fine. But when I try to visit that project through apache, it fails.   I'm developing a touchscreen application that, aside from everything else, records the amount of times the screen is used so that the user can be reminded to clean the screen after a predefined number of clicks. I've got the click functions written nicely, all I need now is make sure the function is called on a click. I imagine $('*').click(function() { //do something }); would accomplish my goal, but is that the best way? Also, would that overwrite other click functions assigned to the elements?

• iPhone App made using XCode 3.2.3 does not run on 3.1.3 OS

  I can't figure this out and I thought that someone might run through the same thing. I have XCode 3.2.3 (Pre Release with OS 4 beta) and I started to create my application, after the final touches and everything worked ok, I changed the Simulator - 4.0 to Simulator - 3.1.3 (latest iPhone OS) and I could never start my app again :-( Does anyone know what I should do? I created a simple Screencast of the problem so everyone can see what I'm writing about. Thank you for all the help.
