Like why not just pass the username and password through the parameters instead? Is it more secure to do it like the way the guy is in the tutorial verus just using passing it through as parameters? I am wondering if it's anything to do with the threads? But I wouldn't know how to solve it if it was. The complete exception thrown is: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010108 (RPC_E_DISCONNECTED))

    Basically I have an authlog/syslog file with a list of log in attempts and IP addresses - I need to make a Python program that will create a txt file with all the IP addresses that have more than 5 failed login attempts - a sort of "blacklist". So basically something like: if "uniqueipaddress" and "authentication failure" appear more than 5 times, add uniqueipaddress to txt file. Any help would be greatly appreciated - please try and make it simple as I am very, very inexperienced in programming in Python! Thanks.

    Hi, we are starting a new smart client project, which is .net winform as client, connecting web service at application server in win 2003. currently, all developers are using win xp pro, to enalbe debugging at both client and server side, we try to get both client and web service installed on XP pc, but the web server require service account to be used for authentication to Active Directory which need IIS6, so it won't work on XP(xp only support IIS5). What is best way to work around this?

I imagine there would be config files of some sort that tell it how to map web service requests to database queries (or other DB commands). For authentication via mobile phone using the link http://m.facebook.com/tos.php?api_key=2461ce...7e76&v=1.0&next=http://beta.my_servicet.net/fb_connects/new_merge&cancel=http://beta.my_servicet.net/account The user gets to FB and enter your username and password, then it should redirect to http://beta.my_servicet.net/fb_connects/new_merge But instead we see a screen with the text "Redirecting ...". Nothing else happens. My phone is iPhone.
