    I have a table in MySQL with 7 indexes, most of them are on more than one column. I think here is too much indexes. Is there any way to get statistics of what indexes are used more by all thousands of queries to this database and what are less worthy so I know what index to consider to remove in first place?

    I have a bunch of int key fields in my index and trying to do a simple range search like this: `gender:1 AND height:[120 TO 180]` This should give me male in the height range 120 to 180. But for some reason i get this exception: `At least one range query boundary term must be non-empty term` How would i debug this? Is it just Zend_Search_Lucene being buggy?

    I configure a default tomcat installation (running on "localhost" at port "8080") as a proxy server in my browser and try to connect to http://www.google.com. I would expect either an error message saying tomcat is not configured as a proxy server or I should get the contents of google website. Instead I get the index.html page of my tomcat installation. What is going wrong?

    I am not an expert web-dev so please bear with me here. I would like to display a banner style header for a page with the top part taken up by an image that is 275x116 and then a horizontal menu bar (styled using ul items) appearing at 70% from the top of the banner. How would I set this up so that the banner appears underneath my navigation? I'm trying to write a bit of regex which would go through some text, written by our Editors, and apply an <acronym> tag to the first instance it finds of an abbreviation set we hold in our "Glossary of Terms". So for this example I've used the abbreviation ITS. 1st thing I thought I'd do is setup an example with a mix of scenerios I could test against, i.e. ITS sitting with punctuation, in HTML tags & ones that we've applied this to already (in other words the script has run through this before, so no need to do again). I'm almost there but just got stuck at the last point :-(. Here's the regex I've got so far - <[^<|]+?>?>ITS<[^<]+?>|ITS The Example - FROM ( EVERY ITS IN BOLD TO BE WRAPPED WITH ACRONYM ): I want you to tag thisITS, but not this wrapped one - <acronym title="ITS" id="thisIsATest">ITS</acronym> This is another test as I still want to update <p>ITS</p> that have other HTML tags wrapped around them.` ITS want ones that start sentences and ones that finish ITS.     I'm writing a DLL that has function for getting Alfresco login ticket without using user password, using only a user principal name (UPN). I’m calling alfresco REST API service /wcservice. I use NTLM in Alfresco. I’m impersonating users using WindowsIdentity constructor as explained here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms998351.aspx#paght000023_impersonatingbyusingwindowsidentity. I checked and user is properly impersonated (I checked WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name property). After impersonating a user, I try to make HttpWebRequest and set its credentials with CredentialsCache.DefaultNetworkCredentials. I get the error: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() When I use new NetworkCredential("username", "P@ssw0rd") to set request credentials, I get Alfresco login ticket (HttpStatusCode.OK, 200). Is there any way that I can get Alfresco login ticket without user password?   • MultiActionController no longer receiving requests?

    I was attempting to make changes to my controller, and all of a sudden, I no longer seem to receive any requests (404 when attempting to hit the servlet mapped URLs). I'm sure I've broken my web.xml or app-servlet.xml, but I just don't see where. I can access index.jsp from tomcat (http://IP/app/index.jsp), but I can't get my servlet mapping to work correctly.   • setting target for disclosure button on subclassed UITableViewCell

    I've created a subclass of UITableViewCell to create some custom appearance and UI functionality ('swipe to reveal delete button'). Some of the cells are disclosure/detail disclosure type, and have a UIButtonTypeDetailDisclosure etc added manually. I cannot use the table view controllers' UITableViewCellAccessory for row at index path method. The question is, how do I set the target of these manually added buttons so that they correctly send the didSelectRowAtIndexPath to their table view controller?

  • jQuery multiple running totals

    0I am using jQuery to calculate a running total on multiple textboxes. Just found an awesome response on how to get that working a few days ago, but now I am running into another problem. When using one selector, the total for GetTotal is calculated perfectly. However, when I include the second selector, the totals begin to conflict with one another, and no longer calculate properly. I have been searching for a solution to this for some time now, does anyone have any ideas?
