  • Rails Scope for association of 0 size.

    I'm having trouble figuring out the scope method for all the Foos that have no Bars. That is: class Foo < ActiveRecord::Base has_may :bars end class Bar < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :foo end I'd like to write a scope method that returns me all the foos that have no bars. Something like: class Foo < ActiveRecord::Base has_may :bars scope :has_no_bars, includes(:bars).where("COUNT(foo.bars) = 0") end But I don't understand the appropriate syntax. Any help? Happy to use a MetaWhere solution if easier.

Using JQuery: 1.4.1. Having seen other examples online, I can't see what the difference should be. Feel free to test it in FireBug at (http://www.initiat.de/tests/testform/). Any help appreciated, can't see what I'm doing wrong.

  • jQuery center multiple dynamic images in different sized containers

    So I've found similar questions but none that answer all the questions I have and I know there must be a simple jQuery answer to this. I've got multiple images that are being dynamically placed in their own containing div that have overflow:hidden, they need to fill their containing divs and be centered(horizontally and vertically) also. The containing divs will be different sizes as well. So in short: multiple different sized images fill and center in containing div. containing divs will be different sizes. will be used multiple times on a page.   • Resized XIB still full size

    Building an iPad app. I have a button on my main view that I want to launch a help window. The help window is fairly involved and has its own xib/controller. I resized the help window's XIB and saved it. I instantiated it and added it to the application controller's views as a modal. For some reason this window is still taking up the entire screen. What I really want to do is have a "view" that's maybe 70% of the width and height that lays over the normal view as a modal. How is this accomplished normally? I want it to require that they hit a button to close it. Thanks

This control has style as a resource inside control resources. My performance profiler shows that InitializeComponent of this control is 7.5 times longer than control that has defined style in resources of application. It occurs because constructor is loading whole BAML each time constructor is called. Sounds logical for me :)
