    Using this jquery code I am trying to change the display from none to block for the second ul under Sale which is under Belts (It has a belts-1 href). The below code should be accessing the second element but its not.     Hello, i have an php/mysql/ajax auction application application. Now there is a section that can have 3 states. State one, the user can place a bid.(Bid button is shown) State two, the user has to wait before he can place a new bid(number of sec is shown) State three, the user has an auto bidding system enabled.(The price maximum and amount ate shown). Now i get these values trough jquery ajax, and i want to present the user the right section. Is it possible somehow with jQuery to find the common elements and add a class to the divs in #set1 that have the same id with divs in #set2?   • IE is doing strange things with JQuery

    So ... The thing is, the code works in FireFox, no problems. But when I open the same page, it gives me the following error: "Undefined is null or not an object." But when I copy the code to a localhost page, it works fine. Also when I clear my cache in IE it works, but only once, if I refresh after that one load, it gives me the same error.   • Difficulty with jQuery and input keydown event

    I am making a simple JavaScript enhanced list. I want it to be a list of inputs, each with an 'Add' and 'Remove' button. If the user clicks 'Add', a new li will be added. If the user clicks 'Remove', that li will be removed. It works fine, except for hitting "enter" in an <input>. Currently, it always causes the Remove.click event handler to fire, unless there's only one item in the list. I'm not sure why. How can I suppress this? Here is the complete jQuery. My attempt to fix the "enter" issue is commented out, and it doesn't work. I've got multiple images that are being dynamically placed in their own containing div that have overflow:hidden, they need to fill their containing divs and be centered(horizontally and vertically) also. The containing divs will be different sizes as well. So in short: multiple different sized images fill and center in containing div. containing divs will be different sizes. will be used multiple times on a page.   • Magento started showing PHP language errors since I downloaded the blank theme using Connect

    I used the Magento Connect downloader to install the blank theme extension, but I did not switch to it as I was unable to access any-page anymore. Instead, it started showing php errors for front-end and Magento generated security errors for admin. Frontend Error: Fatal error: Call to a member function toHtml() on a non-object in D:\xampp\htdocs\newpinch\app\code\core\Mage\Core\Model\Layout.php on line 529 Admin error on Log-in: There has been an error processing your request Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons. Error log record number: 1608724822 Link to the theme extension I installed. I didn't even change the theme from the default, can anyone please tell me what am I doing wrong. I just installed the theme and then clicked on "Return to admin" in Magento Connect but it was unable to go instead started refreshed the Magento Connect page, only this time without any CSS styling. The only page that still appears correctly is the admin log-in page.   • Positioning problem in VIsta when Aero Theme is enabled

    Hi, I have a Windows form which has tab pages. On a Tab Page, I have a Combo Box. When I click the combobox a drop down opens up just below the combo box to give the impression of a drop down. The drop down is a windows form and this is how I set its position Popup.Location = control.PointToScreen(parentcontrol.PointToClient(new System.Drawing.Point(0, control.Height))); Popup = drop down that opens below the combo box (Windows Form) control = my combo box (Combo Box) parentcontrol = the windows form on which the control is present (Parent Form) Problem:- The X coordinate is not plotted correctly on the screen with Aero theme enabled. This works perfectly fine on XP (with some variance in y due to tablelayout panel i assume). But when i use the same code on Vista with Aero theme enabled the x-cordinate wanders away about 20-30 pixels. If I Turn Aero theme off on Vista, it works fine. I have found the X and Y coordiantes calculated in both cases are the same. But the way Vista draws these coordinates on the screen (when aero theme is enabled) is different. One idea would be to wait with the assertion until I get some event notification that my app has been stopped.

  • Someone selling my GPL theme

    I'm having a tough time trying to figure out the best way to handle this. I've created a few themes last year, released them under a GPL license, and pretty much forgot about them. My goal was to put them out publicly as samples of my work. I've recently come across a site and was shocked they are selling one of my themes among several other themes (not mine) and other support and package systems. Anyway needless to say I'm not happy about this. I did not intend for those themes to be sold, and if they are to be sold, at least I would expect a percentage of those sales. I contacted the website asking how many they sold and that I'm the author of one of the themes they were selling. I eventually received a reply that my theme is a GPL theme and that this license allows them to sell it without compensation to me. WTF? Just the way the reply was worded pissed me off. There is no way to comment on the site to inform possible buyers that those themes can be downloaded from my site. What can I do about this? I realize now it was a bad choice to release them under that license. Is it possible to take back the theme from public distribution or is it out forever. Can I change it from GPL to another license at this point? Will that be sufficient to stop the sale of my theme in the future? Any insights are appreciated.

    I've a theme which supports multiple templates, each with a header background image whose color can be set by the site owner via a colorpicker widget in my theme's options panel. This has the effect of opening the background image, recoloring it and resaving it back to the server. I've had zero issues with this routine until recently when a customer installed the theme on a web host whose default read/write permissions are apparently much more restrictive than the norm. In this case, the user was unable to alter the colors of the template images because of the permissions settings. I'm looking for a bit of understanding on what the permissions would need to be (assuming I purposefully set them via script) to allow the logged in wordpress user to write to files under my theme's styles directory.     Hello, I am using a customised version of search-theme-from.tpl When I use the search box, I do get transferred to the search page. But the search does not actually take place. The search box on the search results page does work though.   • How can I bind multiple Jquery UI Slider with "year" Select?

    Hi, I'm trying to render sliders instead of select components. Each page has several select components marked with class='jqselect' and all of them will have decreasing year values (some years may be missing). Eg. a select may have values [2010, 2009, 2006, 2005, 2004]. I have tried binding it both following the examples in the jQuery UI doc (but ignoring the missing years) and using selectToUISlider by filamentgroup (http://www.filamentgroup.com/lab/update_jquery_ui_slider_from_a_select_element_now_with_aria_support//). None of them work. Here is what I've done so far: Binding selects with following slider container divs: $('#content div.jqslider').slider({ animate: true, min: $(this).prev().children().last().val(), max: $(this).prev().children().first().val(), slide: function(event, ui) { var select = $(this).prev(); select.val($(this).slider('option', 'value')); console.log($(this).slider('option', 'value')); //debug } }); This renders the slider, but console logs values from 0 to 100 and selects obviously does not change with the event. Using selectToUISlider: $('#content select.jqselect').selectToUISlider(); This does not even render the slider, throwing an error 'b is undefined' in jquery-min.js (line 30, v1.4.2).   • Confused about theme function calls.

    I've created a content type that has a CCK text field. When I select the text field using the Drupal Themer widget it tells me the last function called was theme_text_formatter_default() , which I found in the CCK text.module It also tells me that it's parents were; content-field.tpl.php < theme_markup < theme_markup < node.tpl.php < page.tpl.php So I assumed that somewhere in the content-field.tpl.php was the function call to theme('text_formatter_default',$element) but it wasn't in there. Just print $item['view'] used to display the content. I searched all the project files for theme('text_formatter_default',$element) and it doesn't exist. I know it's being called by the theme function as I override it in my template.php and it used my overridden function, which would only happen if was using the theme_hook$. Wouldn't it? So how is it being called? It's not that I need to override it. I'm just learning how drupal works and thought I had it sussed until this. Something must be calling it. Also, the function theme_text_formatter_default exists in the theme registry and it's overridable (if that's a word) as I did so in my template.php and it displayed. It's all quite confusing. Any help would be much appreciated

I would like to create a 'fake' click on the date so it will execute my JavaScript function and retrieve information from the database.   • Jquery fadeOut looking different in FF than in Chrome/Safari

    Hey all, i have a page that when a user desides to delete a company, it fades out using the jquery fadeOut() command. This works great and does as it should in FireFox but for some reason it doesn't do the same in Chrome/Safari browsers. The problem is that i have a png image overlay on top of the company logo image that also fades out with the company logo. But if there are more than one company logo on the page, it moves the others in the place where the one got deleted. Like i said, it works fine (and as it should) in Firefox and even IE (SHOCK!) but not in Chrome or Safari.   • iPad: Mobile Safari, HTML5 <video>, and jquery transitions

    I'm building a simple proof-of-concept for an iPad-specific website that would use video transitions to bring users from section to section. For purposes of the proof of concept, each "section" is just an image with a semitransparent content text box positioned above it. There are just 2 sections, "home" and "contact", and they've got a transition video sandwiched between them via z-indexing. The idea for the proof of concept is that clicking on the "home" section causes it to disappear, followed by playback of the transition video, which (upon completion) disappears to reveal the "contact" section. Everything is working fine with this version of the demo on the iPad and on Safari for Windows and OS X. Here's the JS: var myVideo = document.getElementsByTagName('video')[0]; $('document').ready(function() { $('#home').click(function() { $(this).css('display','none'); myVideo.play(); myVideo.addEventListener('ended', function() { $('#transition').css('display','none'); }); }); }); What I'd like to do is use a jQuery fadeOut() effect to fade out the text box prior to starting the video when the "home" section is clicked.
