Cordova - Scrolling with a fixed header and footer (ios)

Using Cordova (phonegap) & bootstrap to make a mobile application, testing on IOS for now. Getting an issue with a header and footer bar that are fixed with scrollable content in the middle. When tapping to scroll, the header/footer bar moves down or up with the content but then snaps back to place as soon as the scrolling completes. Why is this unwanted ">" character being displayed when displaying this PHP document in a browser?

This page takes an asset id from $_GET of the url and displays some info about the asset after querying a mysql database. When I view the page in my browser there is an unwanted "" character within the page and I have no idea why. I've commented where it appears. It appears before the < table create tag right afterward. The < table tag was originally outside the php script section but I threw it in to see if it made a difference. It did not. Thank you all. I am viewing the page in Firefox. Python -- what is NOT in 2.7 that IS in 3.1? So many things have been back-ported, what is NOT?

I've been following the saga of Python 3.x and have watched the 3.x features gradually getting back-ported to the 2.x line. Most of the libraries I use haven't been ported and some (e.g. Twisted) seem covertly or overtly hostile to 3.x to varying degrees. At any rate, there has been very little movement towards compatible versions of many of them. Expecially the larger ones. So, my question is, with all the features that have been backported, what is still available in 3.x that's NOT been back-ported? It's pretty easy to find what has been backported, but not what's left. Right now, porting to 3.x just seems like all pain, and I can't see the gain; maybe an "Only in 3.x" list would let me see the light... Thanks, StuRead the article

Rspec Selenium. Test to check certain Ajax functions passes when i expect it to fail.

I am testing a Ajax action using Rspec and Selenium. My story is as follows: it "should create a new User with any input" do @browser.open "/people" @browser.wait_for_page_to_load "2000" @browser.type "user_name", "Alok Swain" @browser.click "user_submit" @browser.text?("Alok Swain").should be_true end The action i am testing is: def add_user @users = User.all User.create(params[:user]) render :update do |page| page.alert "Created User" page.replace_html "users", :partial => '/people/users_list', :locals => {:users => @users} end end The test fails and the error I get is: 'User should create a new User with any input' FAILED expected false to be true. This test should pass right ? I also kept an alert and tried @browser.is_alert_present.should be_true but i got the same error. I tried @browser.is_text_present("test") and this test succeeded. In the test database a record was created for Alok Swain but when I tried the above assertion it passed when i expected it to fail. Is there any thing else to be done here. .htaccess file on localhost throwing an error when using a Virtual Host config on my Localhost!!

I am trying to set-up my localhost development server. I have everything working but when I try to add an .htaccess it throws this error: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. I dont know exactly why this is, this is pretty much the exact same setup as the other developers machine, but when using my .htaccess file I get that error. Here is my .htaccess file (NOTE: They are commented because I left my site with this setup. It only lets me view the index page. JS onclick triggers wrong object

strange MPMoviePlayer problem

I am using mpmovieplayer in my application.I have a button for playing movie witch has an image of play.But when mpmovieplayer plays movie i can see that button on movie player's overlying controlls like when i pause movie i see my play button instead of movie player's default button.Also i have customized navigation bar and i can see that navbar when movie plays instead of default nav bar.I tried hiding button when playing movie but it didn't worked.Does Someone knows about this issue? also i am having cropping of video issues does someone knows about how to handle video orientation i mean i want full video in any orientation recorded video.ThanksRead the article

Hi All, I have a login button at the footer of my main page or landing page.Currently when user click on the button a login form will get open from TOP to BOTTOM i.e. from the start of form to the "LOGIN" button.What i want is that when i click on the login button it should open the form using slide effect but from the BUTTON to the TOP.I don't want to include library like jQuery as there are some conflict issue with it. Change a UIButton View's background upon press

This should be easy but its got me stumped. I've got a button on each row of a table cell. The button is to delete the file associated with that row. I have an image that indicates if the file is present on the iPhone or not present. When the user presses the button, the target action method (showDeleteSheet) then calls a UIActionSheet with a variable to give it the indexPath of the row pressed. Then the user presses delete on the action sheet and the action sheet's clickedButtonAtIndex method deletes the file. Now, I need to update the button's background image property to change the image in the appropriate table cell to the not downloaded image. This can be done in either the button's target action method or the action sheet's clickedButtonAtIndex method. Dear all I have referred the following link: Silverlight for Windows Embedded By referring this link i created a demo application which consist of two buttons created using Microsoft expression blend 2 tools. And then written a code referring the above site. Now my button names are "Browser Button" and "Media Button". On click of any one of the button i should able to launch the respective application. I was able to do for "Browser Button" but not for "Media Button" and if i do for "Media Button" then i am not able to do for "Browser Button".. I mean to say that how should i create event handler for both the buttons. JavaScript code inside UpdatePanel

Ok: I've got an UpdatePanel on an aspx page that contains a single Placeholder. Inside this placeholder I'm appending one of a selection of usercontrols depending on certain external conditions (this is a configuration page). In each of these usercontrols there is a bindUcEvents() javascript function that binds the various jQuery and javascript events to buttons and validators inside the usercontrol. The issue I'm having is that the usercontrol's javascript is not being recognised. Normally, javascript inside an updatepanel is executed when the updatepanel posts back, however none of this code can be found by the page (I've tried running the function manually via firebug's console, but it tells me it cannot find the function). Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers, Ed. How do I get shortcodes to process properly in custom fields? Styling related issue in IE8

I am using a background image to display as a button. The button shows up well in all versions of firefox, chrome, opera etc. However, the image fails to render itself in IE8. Only the image is not being shown, some of the other class styling gets applied such as width, height etc. Even more confounding is that in another page(though a different class and style sheet), an image of similar proportions gets displayed in similar usage. The image format is JPG. I'm copy-pasting the valid style attributes for both cases as shown by firebug below. Synchronous message support has been enabled in Oracle B2B 11G. This would help customers to send the business message and receive the corresponding business response synchronously. We would like to keep this blog entry as three part series, first one would carry Oracle B2B configuration related details followed by 'how it can be consumed and utilized in an enterprise' using composites backed model. And, the last one would talk about more sophisticated seeded support built on Oracle B2B platform (Note: the last one is still in description phase and ETA hasn't been finalized yet). Details: In an effort to enable synchronous processing in Oracle B2B, we provided a platform using the existing 'callout' mechanism. In this case, we expect the 'callout' attached to the agreement to deliver incoming business message (inbound) to back-end application and get the corresponding business response from back-end and deliver it to Oracle B2B as its output. The output of 'callout' would be processed as outbound message and the same will be attached as a response for the inbound message. Requirements to enable Sync Support: Outbound side: Outbound Agreement - to send business message request Inbound Agreement - to receive business message response Inbound side: Inbound Agreement - to receive business message request Outbound Agreement - to send business message response Agreement Level Callout - to deliver the inbound request to back-end and get the corresponding business response This feature is supported only for HTTP based transport to exchange messages with Trading Partners. One may initiate the outbound message (enqueue) using any of the available Transports in Oracle B2B. Configuration: Outbound side: Please add "syncresponse=true" as "Additional Transport Header" parameter for remote Trading Partner's HTTP delivery channel configuration. This would enable Oracle B2B to process the HTTP response as inbound message and deliver the same to back-end application. All other configuration related to Agreement and Document setup remain same. Inbound side: There is no change in Agreement and Document setup. To enable "Sync Support", you need to build a 'callout' that takes the responsibility of delivering inbound message to back-end and get the corresponding business response from the back-end and attach the same as its output. Oracle B2B treats the output of 'callout' as outbound message and deliver it to Trading Partner as synchronous HTTP response. The requests that needs to processed synchronously should be received by "syncreceiver" (http://:/b2b/syncreceiver) endpoint in Oracle B2B. Exception Handling: Existing Oracle B2B exception handling applies to this use case as well.
