  • Weird jQuery UI Slider behavior using Page Up/Down

    I'm using jQuery UI's slider to update a div containing a number. Dragging or using the left/right keys should only allow the user to choose a number between 1 and 5 (this works as intended). However, if the handle has focus and I use page up/down, I start to get rounded values that are well out of the range of 1-5. Anybody experience the same? Thoughts?

How could I write an expression that returns a list starting with the number entered? right now I am using it as: (clientNum is a long) crit.Add(Expression.Like("ClientNumber", clientNum)); //this always gives me exact matches only so I tried the following, but its complainging of a wroing type (its only expecting a string) crit.Add(Expression.Like("ClientNumber", clientNum, MatchMode.Start));

    Following the recent discussions here (e.g. 1, 2 ) I am now using environments in some of my code. My question is, how do I create functions that modify environments according to its arguments? For example: y <- new.env() with(y, x <- 1) f <- function(env,z) { with(env, x+z) } f(y,z=1) throws Error in eval(expr, envir, enclos) : object 'z' not found I am using environments to keep concurrently two sets of simulations apart (without refactoring my code, which I wrote for a single set of experiments).

Reason why I ask is because I would like to expand my knowledge in Java and I'm into doing stuff like file compressor, bulk file renamer, etc. Are there any examples out there that I can look at or play with?     I'm working at a java application that performs some xslt transformation. I would like to match nodes into the xslt document, using a parameter provided by java. Which is the right way to do something like: <xsl:template match="//m:properties/*[contains($pattern,name())]"> because when I launch my application, it claims it's not able to compile the stylesheet, since pattern is not defined but I'm setting it using the setParameter method and I was able to use another parameter defined in the same way but in a different context.
