  • Use a cat + grep as an included source in bash

    - by Andrew
    I'm on a shared webhost where I don't have permission to edit the global bash configuration file at /ect/bashrc. Unfortunately there is one line in the global file, mesg y, which puts the terminal in tty mode and makes scp and similar commands unavailable. My local ~./bashrc includes the global file as a source, like so: # Source global definitions if [ -f /etc/bashrc ]; then . /etc/bashrc fi My current workaround uses cat and grep to output the global file, sans offending line, into a local file and use that as a source. # Source global definitions if [ -f /etc/bashrc ]; then cat /etc/bashrc | grep -v mesg > ~/.bash_global . ~/.bash_global fi Is there a way to do include a grokked file like this without the intermediate step of creating an actual file? Something like this? . cat /etc/bashrc | grep -v mesg > ~/.bash_global

  • Solution Output Directory

    - by L.E.O
    The project that I'm currently working on is being developed by multiple teams where each team is responsible for different part of the project. They all have set up their own C# projects and solutions with configuration settings specific to their own needs. However, now we need to create another, global solution, which will combine and build all projects into the same output directory. The problem that I have encountered though, is that I have found only one way to make all projects build into the same output directory - I need to modify configurations for all of them. That is what we would like to avoid. We would prefer that all these projects had no knowledge about this "global" solution. Each team must retain possibility to work just with their own sub-solution. One possible workaround is to create a special configuration for all projects just for this "global" solution, but that could create extra problems since now you have to constantly sync this configuration settings with the regular one, used by that specific team. Last thing we want to do is to spend hours trying to figure out why something doesn't work when building under global solution just because of some check box that developers have checked in their configuration, but forgot to do so in the global configuration. So, to simplify, we need some sort of output directory setting or post build event that would only be present when building from that global, all-inclusive solution. Is there any way to achieve this without changing something in projects configurations? Update 1: Some extra details I guess I need to mention: We need this global solution to be as close as possible to what the end user gets when he installs our application, since we intend to use it for debugging of the entire application when we need to figure out which part of the application isn't working before sending this bug to the team working on that part. This means that when building under global solution the output directory hierarchy should be the same as it would be in Program Files after installation, so that if, for example, we have Program Files/MyApplication/Addins folder which contains all the addins developed by different teams, we need the global solution to copy the binaries from addins projects and place them in the output directory accordingly. The thing is, the team developing an addin doest necessary know that it is an addin and that it should be placed in that folder, so they cannot change their relative output directory to be build/bin/Debug/Addins.

  • How can I return to a string address and then assign it to a new string?

    - by Y_Y
    I have 1 function that I want to return the address of an assigned string to the main function and assign an new string pointer with the same address so that the new string will have the contents of the old string. For example: unknown_datatype function() { char *old = "THE STRING"; return old; } int main() { char *snew = ""; snew = function(); return 0; } *unknown_datatype means I don't know that to put there... *How can I approach this without changing anything in the main() method

  • Using Google's Contacts API's, how can I get the user's name and gmail address?

    - by chris
    I know how to get the entire contacts list using Google Contacts API (I get a session token and use Google's Zend package for PHP). But how can I get the person's name and email address? Currently, the Contacts API just seems to give all of the contacts. I'm not sure how to distinguish which email and name out of that list corresponds to the user's account. Is there an easy way to get the user's full name and email address? Any help would be useful. Thanks!

  • Twisted: how-to bind a server to a specified IP address? (solved)

    - by daccle
    I want to have a twisted service (started via twistd) which listens to TCP/POST request on a specified port on a specified IP address. By now I have a twisted application which listens to port 8040 on localhost. It is running fine, but I want it to only listen to a certain IP address, say 10.0.0.78. How-to manage that? This is a snippet of my code: application = service.Application('SMS_Inbound') smsInbound = resource.Resource() smsInbound.putChild('75sms_inbound',ReceiveSMS(application)) smsInboundServer = internet.TCPServer(8001, webserver.Site(smsInbound)) smsInboundServer.setName("SMS Handling") smsInboundServer.setServiceParent(application)

  • Create Custom Playlists in Windows Media Player 12

    - by DigitalGeekery
    A playlist is a group of songs or media files that are grouped together based on a theme. Today we’ll look at how to create your own custom playlists in Windows Media Player 12. Create Custom Playlists Open Windows Media Player and switch to the Library view. Click on the Play tab at the top right to reveal the List pane.   If you currently have songs listed on the List pane, you can remove them by clicking Clear list.   To add songs to your playlist, right-click on the song title, select Add to, and then click Play list. You can also drag and drop the song title right onto the play list area. Hold down the Control [Ctrl] key while clicking to select more than one track at a time.   Changing the Playlist Order You can click and drag each item in your playlist to move it up or down.   You can also right click on the title and select Move up or Move down, or to completely remove a track from your playlist. You have the option to shuffle your list by clicking the Options list icon and selecting Shuffle list from the dropdown list. By selecting Sort list by you can sort by Title, Artist, Album, Release date, and more. Saving and naming your playlist To save your playlist, click on the Save list button. You’ll be prompted to enter a name for your playlist in the text box. Click away when you are finished. Windows Media Player will display your most recent playlists in the Navigation panel. Simply select the playlist anytime you want to listen to it.   Conclusion Custom playlists are a great way to group your music by themes such as mood, genre, activity, season, and more. • OpenWRT based gateway with dnsmasq and internal server with bind

    - by Peter
    I have router based on OpenWRT which has dnsmasq 2.59. Inside my local area network I have a NS server bind. This server has internal and external views for a couple of my domains. My router forwards port 53 TCP and UDP from outside IP (router WAN) to this server. For the external clients everything works fine. In order to organize the internal view, I decided to add the exception to /etc/dnsmasq.conf server=/mydomain1.com/192.168.1.1 server=/mydomain2.com/192.168.1.1 server=/mydomain3.com/192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1 - IP address of the NS server) According to dnsmasq manstrong text: More specific domains take precendence over less specific domains, so: --server=/google.com/1.2.3.4 --server=/www.google.com/2.3.4.5 will send queries for *.google.com to 1.2.3.4, except *www.google.com, which will go to 2.3.4.5 this domain name with all the sub-domains is supposed to be forward to my NS server. Everything works (SOA, NS, MX, CNAME, TXT, SRV etc.) except for A-record: # nslookup -type=a mydomain1.com Server: 192.168.1.100 Address: 192.168.1.100#53 *** Can't find mydomain1.com: No answer 192.168.1.100 - IP address of my router (dnsmasq) However, I can get the answer for the TXT-record query: # nslookup -type=txt mydomain1.com Server: 192.168.1.100 Address: 192.168.1.100#53 mydomain1.com text = "v=spf1 include:mydomain1.com -all" When I just specify the local IP of my NS server (direct access to the server without using dnsmasq) then the results are: # nslookup -type=a mydomain1.com 192.168.1.1 Server: 192.168.1.1 Address: 192.168.1.1#53 Name: mydomain1.com Address: 192.168.1.1 There is a similar situation with the MX-record: C:\>nslookup -type=mx mydomain1.com Server: router.lan Address: 192.168.1.100 mydomain1.com MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = mail.mydomain1.com mydomain1.com nameserver = ns.mydomain1.com mail.mydomain1.com internet address = 192.168.1.1 ns.mydomain1.com internet address = 192.168.1.1 C:\>nslookup -type=a mail.mydomain1.com Server: router.lan Address: 192.168.1.100 *** No address (A) records available for mail.mydomain1.com This is a dig result: # dig +nocmd mydomain1.com any +multiline +noall +answer mydomain1.com. 86400 IN SOA ns.mydomain1.com. hostmaster.mydomain1.com. • lnk2019 error in very simple c++ program

    - by Erin
    I have tried removing various parts and building, but nothing makes the lnk2019 error go away, or even produces any normal errors. Everything is in the one file at the moment (it won't be later when it is finished). The program has three lists of words and makes a jargon phrase out of them, and you are supposed to be able to add words, remove words, view the lists, restore defaults, save changes to file, and load changes from file. #include "stdafx.h" #include <iostream> #include <string.h> using namespace std; const int maxlist = 20; string adj1[maxlist], adj2[maxlist], noun[maxlist]; void defaultlist(int list) { if(list == 1) { adj1[0] = "green"; adj1[1] = "red"; adj1[2] = "yellow"; adj1[3] = "blue"; adj1[4] = "purple"; int i = 5; while(i != maxlist) { adj1[i] = ""; i = i + 1; } } if(list == 2) { adj2[0] = "shiny"; adj2[1] = "hard"; adj2[2] = "soft"; adj2[3] = "spiky"; adj2[4] = "furry"; int i = 5; while(i != maxlist) { adj2[i] = ""; i = i + 1; } } if(list == 3) { noun[0] = "cat"; noun[1] = "dog"; noun[2] = "desk"; noun[3] = "chair"; noun[4] = "door"; int i = 5; while(i != maxlist) { noun[i] = ""; i = i + 1; } } return; } void printlist(int list) { if(list == 1) { int i = 0; while(!(i == maxlist)) { cout << adj1[i] << endl; i = i + 1; } } if(list == 2) { int i = 0; while(!(i == maxlist)) { cout << adj2[i] << endl; i = i + 1; } } if(list == 3) { int i = 0; while(!(i == maxlist)) { cout << noun[i] << endl; i = i + 1; } } return; } string makephrase() { int num1 = rand()%maxlist; int num2 = rand()%maxlist; int num3 = rand()%maxlist; int num4 = rand()%1; string word1, word2, word3; if(num4 = 0) { word1 = adj1[num1]; word2 = adj2[num2]; } else { word1 = adj2[num1]; word2 = adj1[num2]; } word3 = noun[num3]; return word1 + " ," + word2 + " " + word3; } string addword(string word, int list) { string result; if(list == 1) { int i = 0; while(!(adj1[i] == "" || i == maxlist)) { i = i + 1; } if(i == maxlist) result = "List is full.   • How to parallelize this groovy code?

    - by lucas
    I'm trying to write a reusable component in Groovy to easily shoot off emails from some of our Java applications. I would like to pass it a List, where Email is just a POJO(POGO?) with some email info. I'd like it to be multithreaded, at least running all the email logic in a second thread, or make one thread per email. I am really foggy on multithreading in Java so that probably doesn't help! I've attempted a few different ways, but here is what I have right now: void sendEmails(List<Email> emails) { def threads = [] def sendEm = emails.each{ email -> def th = new Thread({ Random rand = new Random() def wait = (long)(rand.nextDouble() * 1000) println "in closure" this.sleep wait sendEmail(email) }) println "putting thread in list" threads << th } threads.each { it.run() } threads.each { it.join() } } I was hoping the sleep would randomly slow some threads down so the console output wouldn't be sequential. Instead, I see this: putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list putting thread in list in closure sending email1 in closure sending email2 in closure sending email3 in closure sending email4 in closure sending email5 in closure sending email6 in closure sending email7 in closure sending email8 in closure sending email9 in closure sending email10 sendEmail basically does what you'd expect, including the println statement, and the client that calls this follows, void doSomething() { Mailman emailer = MailmanFactory.getExchangeEmailer() def to = ["one","two"] def from = "noreply" def li = [] def email (1..10).each { email = new Email(to,null,from,"email"+it,"hello") li << email } emailer.sendEmails li }

  • Recursive Iterators

    - by soandos
    I am having some trouble making an iterator that can traverse the following type of data structure. I have a class called Expression, which has one data member, a List<object>. This list can have any number of children, and some of those children might be other Expression objects. I want to traverse this structure, and print out every non-list object (but I do want to print out the elements of the list of course), but before entering a list, I want to return "begin nest" and after I just exited a list, I want to return "end nest". I was able to do this if I ignored the class wherever possible, and just had List<object> objects with List<object> items if I wanted a subExpression, but I would rather do away with this, and instead have an Expressions as the sublists (it would make it easier to do operations on the object. I am aware that I could use extension methods on the List<object> but it would not be appropriate (who wants an Evaluate method on their list that takes no arguments?). The code that I used to generate the origonal iterator (that works) is: public IEnumerator GetEnumerator(){ return theIterator(expr).GetEnumerator(); } private IEnumerable theIterator(object root) { if ((root is List<object>)){ yield return " begin nest "; foreach (var item in (List<object>)root){ foreach (var item2 in theIterator(item)){ yield return item2; } } yield return " end nest "; } else yield return root; } A type swap of List<object> for expression did not work, and lead to a stackOverflow error. How should the iterator be implemented? Update: Here is the swapped code: public IEnumerator GetEnumerator() { return this.GetEnumerator(); } private IEnumerable theIterator(object root) { if ((root is Expression)) { yield return " begin nest "; foreach (var item in (Expression)root) { foreach (var item2 in theIterator(item)) yield return item2; } yield return " end nest "; } else yield return root; }

  • Convert Markdown text to RTF, using Ruby and Pandoc?

    - by niteshade
    Playing with Ruby and Ruby-Pandoc. Seems like a nice tool, if I can get it to work. I'd like to convert some Markdown text (with embedded lists and other fanciness) to Rich Text. Here's the text I'm converting: Title === This is a paragraph. Hallelujah. Here comes a nested list. --- * List item 1 * List item 1.1 * List item 1.2 * List item 2 * List item 2.1 Here's my Ruby code... require 'pandoc-ruby' input = File.read(test.md) converter = PandocRuby.new(input, from: :markdown, to: :rtf) puts converter.convert ... which (after saving the output to a file) produces a document without anything but a title: Here's the code of the RTF file: {\pard \ql \f0 \sa180 \li0 \fi0 \b \fs36 Title\par} {\pard \ql \f0 \sa180 \li0 \fi0 This is a paragraph. Hallelujah.\par} {\pard \ql \f0 \sa180 \li0 \fi0 \b \fs32 Here comes a nested list.\par} {\pard \ql \f0 \sa0 \li360 \fi-360 \bullet \tx360\tab List item 1\par} {\pard \ql \f0 \sa0 \li360 \fi-360 \bullet \tx360\tab List item 1.1\par} {\pard \ql \f0 \sa0 \li360 \fi-360 \bullet \tx360\tab List item 1.2\par} {\pard \ql \f0 \sa0 \li360 \fi-360 \bullet \tx360\tab List item 2\par} {\pard \ql \f0 \sa0 \li360 \fi-360 \bullet \tx360\tab List item 2.1\sa180\par} In addition, even if it did show up in my RTF viewer (Mac TextEdit), the RTF code seems to have lost all list nesting. I don't know how to diagnose this, whether I have not stated necessary header information or something in Ruby-Pandoc. Thanks in advance!

  • How to improve compare of item in sorted List<MyItem> with item before and after current item?

    - by Oliver
    Does anyone know about a good way to accomplish this task? Currently i'm doing it more ore less this way, but i'm feeling someway unhappy with this code, unable to say what i could immediately improve. So if anyone has a smarter way of doing this job i would be happy to know. private bool Check(List<MyItem> list) { bool result = true; //MyItem implements IComparable<MyItem> list.Sort(); for (int pos = 0; pos < list.Count - 1; pos++) { bool previousCheckOk = true; if (pos != 0) { if (!CheckCollisionWithPrevious(pos)) { MarkAsFailed(pos); result = false; previousCheckOk = false; } else { MarkAsGood(pos); } } if (previousCheckOk && pos != list.Count - 1) { if (!CheckCollisionWithFollowing(pos)) { MarkAsFailed(pos); result = false; } else { MarkAsGood(pos); } } } return result; } private bool CheckCollisionWithPrevious(int pos) { bool checkOk = false; var previousItem = _Item[pos - 1]; // Doing some checks ... return checkOk; } private bool CheckCollisionWithFollowing(int pos) { bool checkOk = false; var followingItem = _Item[pos + 1]; // Doing some checks ... return checkOk; } Update After reading the answer from Aaronaught and a little weekend to refill full mind power i came up with the following solution, that looks far better now (and nearly the same i got from Aaronaught): public bool Check(DataGridView dataGridView) { bool result = true; _Items.Sort(); for (int pos = 1; pos < _Items.Count; pos++) { var previousItem = _Items[pos - 1]; var currentItem = _Items[pos]; if (previousItem.CollidesWith(currentItem)) { dataGridView.Rows[pos].ErrorText = "Offset collides with item named " + previousItem.Label; result = false; sb.AppendLine("Line " + pos); } } dataGridView.Refresh(); return result; }

  • How do bind a List<object> to a DataGrid in Silverlight?

    - by Ben McCormack
    I'm trying to create a simple Silverlight application that involves parsing a CSV file and displaying the results in a DataGrid. I've configured my application to parse the CSV file to return a List<CSVTransaction> that contains properties with names: Date, Payee, Category, Memo, Inflow, Outflow. The user clicks a button to select a file to parse, at which point I want the DataGrid object to be populated. I'm thinking I want to use data binding, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the data to show up in the grid. My XAML for the DataGrid looks like this: <data:DataGrid IsEnabled="False" x:Name="TransactionsPreview"> <data:DataGrid.Columns> <data:DataGridTextColumn Header="Date" Binding="{Binding Date}" /> <data:DataGridTextColumn Header="Payee" Binding="{Binding Payee}"/> <data:DataGridTextColumn Header="Category" Binding="{Binding Category}"/> <data:DataGridTextColumn Header="Memo" Binding="{Binding Memo}"/> <data:DataGridTextColumn Header="Inflow" Binding="{Binding Inflow}"/> <data:DataGridTextColumn Header="Outflow" Binding="{Binding Outflow}"/> </data:DataGrid.Columns> </data:DataGrid> The code-behind for the xaml.cs file looks like this: private void OpenCsvFile_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { try { CsvTransObject csvTO = new CsvTransObject.ParseCSV(); //This returns a List<CsvTransaction> and passes it //to a method which is supposed to set the DataContext //for the DataGrid to be equal to the list. BindCsvTransactions(csvTO.CsvTransactions); TransactionsPreview.IsEnabled = true; MessageBox.Show("The CSV file has a valid header and has been loaded successfully."); } catch (Exception ex) { MessageBox.Show(ex.Message); } } private void BindCsvTransactions(List<CsvTransaction> listYct) { TransactionsPreview.DataContext = listYct; } My thinking is to bind the CsvTransaction properties to each DataGridTextColumn in the XAML and then set the DataContext for the DataGrid to the List<CsvTransaction at run-time, but this isn't working. Any ideas about how I might approach this (or do it better)?

  • ASP.NET MVC: How to display strongly typed view model, containing list of items, which also contain

    - by Sam Delaney
    Hi, I'm building an app using ASP.NET MVC which I want to use a strongly type view model, which contains a List called items which contains an id int and itemName string. The view model also conatins a List called people, and the Person class contains a List. The way I want to display the information is as a table, with each row having a column of Person name, then n number of columns which contain checkboxes, one for each of the List, and checked based on whether the Person's List (called items) contains the id of the Item. I have the display working fine, but I'm struggling to understand how to name the items so that the posted method can read the data. This is what I have in the BeginForm: <table cellpadding="20"> <thead> <th>Person name</th> <!-- for each of the items, create a column with the item name --> <% foreach( var i in Model.items ) { %> <th><%= Html.Encode(i.itemName) %></th> <% } %> </thead> <% foreach( var p in Model.people ) { %> <tr> <td><%= Html.Encode(p.name) %></td> <!-- for each item, create a column with a checkbox --> <% foreach( var i in Model.items ) { %> <td> <% if( p.items.Contains(i.id) ) { %> <!-- vm is the name of the view model passed to the view --> <%= Html.CheckBox( "vm.people[" + p.id + "].items[" + i.id + "]", true ) %> <% } else { %> <%= Html.CheckBox( "vm.people[" + p.id + "].items[" + i.id + "]", false ) %> <% } %> </td> <% } %> </tr> <% } %> </table> And this code displays the information perfectly. When I click submit, however, I get an Object Reference Not Set.. error message. Can anyone help with this please?

  • Python. How to iterate through a list of lists looking for a partial match

    - by Becca Millard
    I'm completely stuck on this, without even an idea about how to wrap my head around the logic of this. In the first half of the code, I have successfully generation a list of (thousands of) lists of players names and efficiency scores: eg name_order_list = [["Bob", "Farley", 12.345], ["Jack", "Donalds", 14.567], ["Jack", "Donalds", 13.421], ["Jack", "Donalds", 15.232],["Mike", "Patricks", 10.543]] What I'm trying to do, is come up with a way to make a list of lists of the average efficiency of each player. So in that example, Jack Donalds appears multiple times, so I'd want to recognize his name somehow and average out the efficiency scores. Then sort that new list by efficiency, rather than name. So then the outcome would be like: average_eff_list = [[12.345, "Bob", "Farley"], [14.407, "Jack", "Donalds"], [10.543, "Mike", "Patricks"]] Here's what I tried (it's kind of a mess, but should be readable): total_list = [] odd_lines = [name_order_list[i] for i in range(len(name_order_list)) if i % 2 == 0] even_lines = [name_order_list[i] for i in range(len(name_order_list)) if i % 2 == 1] i = 0 j = i-1 while i <= 10650: iteration = 2 total_eff = 0 while odd_lines[i][0:2] == even_lines[i][0:2]: if odd_lines[i][0:2] == even_lines[j][0:2]: if odd_lines[j][0:2] != even_lines[j][0:2]: total_eff = even_lines[j][2]/(iteration-1) iteration -= 1 #account fr the single (rather than dual) additional entry else: total_eff = total_eff if iteration == 2: total_eff = (odd_lines[i][2] + even_lines[i][2]) / iteration else: total_eff = ((total_eff * (iteration - 2)) + (odd_lines[i][2] + even_lines[i][2])) / iteration iteration += 2 i += 1 j += 1 if i > 10650: break else: if odd_lines[i][0:2] == even_lines[j][0:2]: if odd_lines[j][0:2] != even_lines[j][0:2]: total_eff = (odd_lines[i][2] + even_lines[j][2]) / iteration else: total_eff = ((total_eff * (iteration -2)) + odd_lines[i][2]) / (iteration - 1) if total_eff == 0: #there's no match at all total_odd = [odd_lines[i][2], odd_lines[i][0], odd_lines[i][1]] total_list.append(total_odd) if even_lines[i][0:2] != odd_lines[i+1][0:2]: total_even = [even_lines[i][2], even_lines[i][0], even_lines[i][1]] else: total = [total_eff, odd_lines[i][0], odd_lines[i][1]] total_list.append(total) i += 1 if i > 10650: break else: print(total_list) Now, this runs well enough (doesn't get stuck or print someone's name multiple times) but the efficiency values are off by a large amount, so I know that scores are getting missed somewhere. This is a problem with my logic, I think, so any help would be greatly appreciated. As would any advice about how to loop through that massive list in a smarter way, since I'm sure there is one... EIDT: for this exercise, I need to keep it all in a list format. I can make new lists, but no using dictionaries, classes, etc.

  • How to solve Memory leaks in Lib Xml Parser in objective-C where the list is returned?

    - by Madan Mohan
    Hi Guys, I got leaks in Lib Xml Parser while retrieving the data from the net, Here in the below code, I have allocated the list - (void)getCustomersList { // make an operation so we can push it into the queue SEL method = @selector(parseForData); NSInvocationOperation *op = [[NSInvocationOperation alloc] initWithTarget:self selector:method object:nil]; customersTempList = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:20];// allocated list [self.retrieverQueue addOperation:op]; [op release]; } // return each recode // in parser .m class one of the condition in endElement where it shows a leak. else if(0 == strncmp((const char *)localname, kCustomerElement, kCustomerElementLength)) { [customersTempList addObject:customer]; printf("\n no of objects in temp list:%d", [customersTempList count]); if ([customersTempList count] == 20) { NSMutableArray* argsList = [customersTempList copy];//////////////////////here it is showing leak. printf("\n Calling reload data with %d new objects", [argsList count]); SEL selector = @selector(parser:addCustomerObject:); NSMethodSignature *sig = [(id)self.delegate methodSignatureForSelector:selector]; if(nil != sig && [self.delegate respondsToSelector:selector]) { NSInvocation *invocation = [NSInvocation invocationWithMethodSignature:sig]; [invocation retainArguments]; [invocation setTarget:self.delegate]; [invocation setSelector:selector]; [invocation setArgument:&self atIndex:2]; [invocation setArgument:&argsList atIndex:3]; [invocation performSelectorOnMainThread:@selector(invoke) withObject:NULL waitUntilDone:NO]; } [customersTempList removeAllObjects]; } } // returned the list after all the records are stored in the list else if(0 == strncmp((const char *)localname, kCustomersElement, kCustomersElementLength)) { printf("\n Calling reload data with %d new objects", [customersTempList count]); NSMutableArray* argsList = [customersTempList copy]; printf("\n Calling reload data with %d new objects", [argsList count]); SEL selector = @selector(parser:addCustomerObject:); NSMethodSignature *sig = [(id)self.delegate methodSignatureForSelector:selector]; if(nil != sig && [self.delegate respondsToSelector:selector]) { NSInvocation *invocation = [NSInvocation invocationWithMethodSignature:sig]; [invocation retainArguments]; [invocation setTarget:self.delegate]; [invocation setSelector:selector]; [invocation setArgument:&self atIndex:2]; [invocation setArgument:&argsList atIndex:3]; [invocation performSelectorOnMainThread:@selector(invoke) withObject:NULL waitUntilDone:NO]; } [customersTempList removeAllObjects]; } } please help me out of this, Thanks, Madan.

  • Does OpenCL allow concurrent writes to same memory address?

    - by Wonko
    Is two (or more) different threads allowed to write to the same memory location in global space in OpenCL? The write is always changing a uchar from 0 to 1 so the outcome should be predictable, but I'm getting erratic results in my program, so I'm wondering if the reason can be that some of the writes fail. Could it help to declare the buffer write-only and copy it to a read-only buffer afterwards?

  • Why Hebrew letters in the address bar break the ARR gateway (Only With Explorer 8,9,10)?

    - by Noamway
    The ARR is working great in all browsers except Internet Explorer 8,9,10. When I paste Hebrew URL directly to the address bar it's working good, but when I surf (click on a simple href URL) from one Hebrew URL page to another Hebrew URL the ARR return me that error: "502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server." There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server. I checked it number of times including with HTTP analyzer and I saw that the "referer" is making all the problems and cause to that error. For example when I enter to that page: mydomain.com/somehebrewchars (mydomain.com/???? you will need Hebrew install) And click in the page on a link to: mydomain.com/somehebrewchars2 (mydomain.com/???????? you will need Hebrew install) I will get the error above and when you look at the referrer you will see something like that: mydomain.com/עמוד-× ×—×™×ª×” We use other proxies application to others projects and we don't have the same issue like that. For this example we used WIN 2008 and 2012 with ARR 2.5 and also 3 beta. Any help is welcome :-) Thanks, Noam
