    I have got some radio buttons setup like this: <div id="typeRadios"> <input id="note_notetype_note1" name="note[notetype]" type="radio" value="note1" /><label for="note_notetype_note1">note1</label> <input id="note_notetype_note2" name="note[notetype]" type="radio" value="note2" /><label for="note_notetype_note2">note2</label> </div> That I turn into jQueryUI buttons like this: $("#typeRadios").buttonset(); This is the resulting HTML: <input type="radio" value="note1" name="note[notetype]" id="note_notetype_note1" class="ui-helper-hidden-accessible"> <label for="note_notetype_note1" aria-pressed="false" class="ui-button ui-widget ui-state-default ui-button-text-only ui-corner-left" role="button" aria-disabled="false"><span class="ui-button-text">note1</span></label> <input type="radio" value="note2" name="note[notetype]" id="note_notetype_note2" class="ui-helper-hidden-accessible"> <label for="note_notetype_note2" aria-pressed="false" class="ui-button ui-widget ui-state-default ui-button-text-only ui-corner-left" role="button" aria-disabled="false"><span class="ui-button-text">note2</span></label> The buttons work, but whenever I click one, the browser view-port gets returned to the top of the page, the same way it happens when you click on a <a href="#">link</a> link. I am using jQuery 1.4.2 and jQueryUI 1.8.7. How can I prevent this behaviour? Thanks for reading. EDIT: The <a href="#">link</a> part was missing.

  • Problem with user login validation by authlogic

    Hi, I want to use email for signing in, and to allow users to have similar names. One way to do this is to rename login/username field to something different. However, I want to do it just by setting up authlogic. I tried the following acts_as_authentic do |c| c.login_field :email c.validate_login_field false c.validate_email_field true end but it still complains that the login already exists. What must be done to avoid username validation without renaming the field?

    Imagine this scenario: in our company there is an employee that "play" around graphic,css,html and so on. Our new project will born under symfony2 so we're trying some silly - but "real" - stuff (like authentication from db, submit data from a form and persist it to db and so on..) The problem As far i know, learnt from symfony2 "book" that i found on the site (you can find it here), there is an "automated" way for creating and rendering forms: 1) Build the form up into a controller in this way $form = $this->createFormBuilder($task) ->add('task','text'), ->add('dueDate','date'), ->getForm(); return $this->render('pathToBundle:Controller:templateTwig', array('form'=>$form->createview()); 2) Into templateTwig render the template {{ form_widget(form) }} // or single rows method 3) Into a controller (the same that have a route where you can submit data), take back submitted information if($rquest->getMethod()=='POST'){ $form->bindRequest($request); /* and so on */ } Return to scenario Our graphic employee don't want to access controllers, write php and other stuff like those. UPDATE It seems that Symfony2 use a different convention for form's field name and lookup once you've submitted that. In particular, if my form's name is addUser and a field is named userName, the field's name will be AddUser[username] so maybe it have a "dynamic" lookup method that will extract form's name, field's name, concat them and lookup for values. Is it possible?

    So I am trying to change the number of fields in my dataset in SSRS and the refresh button is not picking up the added field from the SQL server. The query is definitely returning the correct data, as I have double checked in the server engine itself. Also, I have tried manually adding the field using the SSRS menu, but as soon as I execute it disappears. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

How can I auto-populate the 'Warranty expiry' field (which is a date field) by looking at the 'Purchase date' and then adding on the 'Warranty time' (warranty time will be 1 = 365 days, 2 = 730 days, etc)?

    Hi! I have view with text field -- subclassed from UIAlertView. In the textFieldShouldReturn delegate I call resignFirstResponder for text field and dismissWithClickedButtonIndex for view. On the 3.x version everything fine, but on 4.0 keyboard still present on screen after view dismissing and doesn't disappear while app running. App compiled for 3.0 target and tested on 4.0 iPhone OS. One more thing - sometimes after dismissing alert - Done button on the keyboard replaces with Return button.. Any suggestions ?

The search box on the search results page does work though.     Let we have a grammar like this: Program ::= a* b* where "*" is considered to be greedy. I usually implement "*" operator naively: Try to apply the expression under "*" to input one more time. If it has been applied successfully then we are still under current "*"-expression; try to apply the expression under "*" one more time. Otherwise we have reached next grammar expression; put characters parsed by expression under "*" back into input and proceed with next expression. But if there are errors in input in any of "a*" or "b*" part such a parser will "think" that in position of error both "a*" and "b*" have finished ("let's try "a"... Fail! OK, it looks like we have to proceed to "b*". Let's try "b"... Fail! OK, it looks like the string should have been finished...). For example, for string "daaaabbbbbbc" it will "say": "The string must end at position 1, delete superflous characters: daaaabbbbbbc". In short, greedy "*" operator becomes lazy if there are errors in input. How to make "*" operator to recover from errors nicely?
