  • Problem running VBScript from my UIAccess VB app using MSScriptControl

    I'm trying to run some VBSCRIPT from within my application. This works fine when I run my program from within VB. But once I add "UIAccess=true" to my manifest and digitally sign my exe with my certificate, I am unable to run the code any more. It gives errors when I try to interface with any program saying "429: ActiveX component can't create object: 'myApp.Application'". Anyone have any idea why it would run fine in the IDE but not with an application with uses UIAccess?   • Conflicting problem with css

    I was told last night that the following isn't allowed in CSS. <a href="index.php"><div class="button">Home</div></a> .submenu div.button{width:72px; height:20px; float:left; margin:0 20px; font-size:0.9em; font-family:Arial; padding:2px; color:black;} How can i create the look I want for the button and then allow the user to click on it in any other way? What is the best way to do this? It works as it is, but I am being told it's not complient.

  • Rails + Passenger CSS problem

    I'm trying to deploy my first Rails app. At first, I was getting the following error: ActionView::TemplateError (Permission denied) I set the permissions of the stylesheets folder to 777 (just for now until I work out what's going wrong) and the application started to work. However, it is not picking up any of the stylesheets (everything is displayed in plain text). If I view the source code and click the CSS links, I just get a blank page. Javascripts however, seem to be working just fine. VHost Config: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName xxxx.xxx.com DocumentRoot /home/myapp/public <Directory /home/myapp/public> Allow from All AllowOverride all Options -MultiViews </Directory> </VirtualHost> Can anyone help?   • problem loading resource from class library

    I have a class library (mylibrary) which has a resource called "close.png". I used redGate reflector to confirm that the resource is actually present in the dll. Now i use mylibrary.dll in a project where i attempt to extract this "close.png" resource like this : BitmapImage crossImage = new BitmapImage(); crossImage.BeginInit(); crossImage.UriSource = new Uri(@"/mylibrary;component/Resources/close.png", UriKind.RelativeOrAbsolute); crossImage.EndInit(); This BitmapImage crossImage is then used like : Button closeButton = new Button() { Content = new System.Windows.Controls.Image() { Source = crossImage }, MaxWidth = 20, MaxHeight = 20 }; On doing this i get no exceptions being thrown but the button shows no image. Also, i do see some exception info if i investigate the button's 'content' in the debugger.

I'm sure this must be simple.

  • Stored Procedure Permissions Problem

    I have migrated a set of SQL 2000 databases to SQL 2008. Most is working well, however I have some stored procedures that scheduled and run by SQL Server Agent jobs that are giving me troubles. Many of the scheduled stored procedures work, but the stored procs that access a database other than the default databases are failing with the following message: Executed as user: XYZ\YadaYada. The server principal: "XYZ\YadaYada" is not able to access the database "MyOtherDatabaseOnSameServer" under the current security context. [SQL STATE 08004](Error 619) The step failed. Obviously, I changed the names to protect the guilty. The account is a user in all of the relavent databases and is a memeber of db_owner, db_datareader, and db_datawriter. When I run these same procedures from a query window in SMS using the same accounts (I have tried many) they work fine. What am I missing?

This markup is generated by a custom JSTL tag <mui:menu .../> which loads menu data from a database. I hope my jsp page can behave like this: if menu data has not changed since last time I visited the page, just use browser's cache otherwise load from database... How can I do it? I don't know much detail about cache mechanism.

I have an NSMutableArray that contains about 30 NSMutableArrays with NSNumber, NSDate and NSString Objects. I try to write the file using this call: bool result = [myArray writeToFile:[fileMethods getFullPath:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"iEts%@.arr", [aDate shortDateString]]] atomically:NO]; = result = FALSE. The Path method is: + (NSString *) getFullPath:(NSString *)forFileName { NSArray *paths = NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSDocumentDirectory, NSUserDomainMask, YES); NSString *documentsDirectory = [paths objectAtIndex:0]; return [documentsDirectory stringByAppendingPathComponent:forFileName]; } and the aDate call returns a shortDateString with ddMMyy. The NSLog NSLog(@"%@", [fileMethods getFullPath:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"iEts%@.arr", [aDate shortDateString]]]); on the path generation returns: /Users/me/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User/Applications/86729620-EC1D-4C10-A799-0C638BB27933/Documents/iEts010510.arr FURTHER: It must have something to do with the Array of Arrays, since I also write 3 further simple arrays (containing NSStrings) that all succeed.     I am playing with custom view and routes. I think that I have everything right but obviously not. Essentially I tried to copy the show method and show.html.erb but for some reason it will not work.     Hi (I am using Galileo), I am trying to import some existing projects into Eclipse. The structures for their packages is: Project/ /src /java /a /b /c Once imported in the package explorer I see: Project src/java --a --b --c - AClass.java This is ok, since the classes e.g. AClass.java are defined in package: a.b.c But in one project the structure (once imported) becomes: Project src --java --a --b --c - AClass.java And that causes the error that AClass.java is defined to be in package a.b.c but it is actually under java.a.b.c Why is this happening? Why in this specific project java is not ignored as part of package? Thanks

    Hi All, There is a datagrid on my page which contains a lot of data. When i click on any row , the user is redirected to a page where he can edit the content of that row. But suppose I am at the bottom of page and then if I click on any row, the scrollbar of browser automatically shifts upwards which causes illusion for the user and make him confused if he has clicked on some other row. Is there any solution to this so that the position of scrollbar does not change after clicking on any data in datagrid. Thanks in advance.

  • Problem with using Jquery.ajax over .load on Zend

    Right now, what i'm trying to do is to replace a label on the front page with a block of html. Right now, the page basically has: <label id="replace"></label> the js currently has: $(document).ready(function(){ $("#replace").load('/test'); }); the Zend class function has: public function indexAction(){ $this->_helper->layout()->disableLayout(); $this->_view->message = "This is from TestController index"; } and finally the index.phtml template simply has: <?php echo $this->message;?> Right now, I want to change the code around so that instead of just replacing that label with the same message, it would do a POST where the function will pull out a parameter, do something (like for instance, go to the database and pull something out with the POST parameter) and then return the message. I've tried editing the js so that it would look like: $.post('/test', {param : "test_param"}, function(data) {$("#replace").html(data);}); or $.ajax({ type: 'POST', url: '/test', data: "{param:test_param}", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", success: function(data) {$("#replace").html(data);} }); and neither worked. I took a step back and tried to replicate the .load functionality and do: $.ajax({ url: '/test', success: function(data) { $('#replace').html(data); alert('Load was performed.'); } }); and it doesn't work either. Anyone have any tips on how to go about doing this?

  • OpenGLES iPhone Depth Blending problem

    Hi, I am trying to make an OpenGLES 2.0 cube application. The idea was to have a texture (with an alpha 75%) applied to all 6 faces of the cube. This would mean that even if I rotate the cube i would be able to see all 6 faces at any given frame. Now I have enabled depth test(my app needs this!!) and blending. The Depth func is LEQUAL and blend func is SRC_ALPHA, ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA. Now, the issue is that at some cube faces don't show the underlying faces. I am not able to understand this because the logic works fine with the other cube faces. Just for the record, I have disabled CULL_FACE. Thanks in advance. Regards, Puzzler
