    - by Peter
    Hi, a little question. I have this code, which is works perfect for files, but If am trying search on a directory name, the result is blank. How I can fix that? <?php function listdirs($dir,$search) { static $alldirs = array(); $dirs = glob($dir."*"); foreach ($dirs as $d){ if(is_file($d)){ $filename = pathinfo($d); if(eregi($search,$filename['filename'])){ print "<a href=http://someurl.com/" . $d .">". $d . "</a><br/>"; } }else{ listdirs($d."/",$search); } } } $path = "somedir/"; $search= "test"; listdirs($path,$search); ?> somedir/test/ result: blank (I want: /somedir/test/) somedir/test/test.txt result: OK I want to search also in the directory names, how I can do that?

  • EHsc vc EHa (synchronous vs asynchronous exception handling)

    - by watson1180
    Could you give a bullet list of practical differences/implication? I read relevant MSDN article, but my understanding asynchronous exceptions is still a bit hazy. I am writing a test suite using Boost.Test and my compiler emits a warning that EHa should be enabled: warning C4535: calling _set_se_translator() requires /EHa The project itself uses only plain exceptions (from STL) and doesn't need /EHa switch. Do I have to recompile it with /EHa switch to make the test suite work properly? My feeling is that I need /EHa for the test suit only. Thank you and happy new year.

  • Summarize object area with a Hash in Ruby

    - by Arto Uusikangas
    require 'sketchup' entities = Sketchup.active_model.entities summa = Hash.new for face in entities next unless face.kind_of? Sketchup::Face if (face.material) summa[face.material.display_name] += face.area end end Im trying to get the structure in the array as such: summa { "Bricks" = 500, "Planks" = 4000 } Making a ruby script for Google Sketchup btw But if I run this code i only get Error: #+' for nil:NilClass> C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Plugins\test.rb:17 C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Plugins\test.rb:14:ineach' C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Plugins\test.rb:14 C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 7\Plugins\test.rb:8:in `call' As im used to using PHP and just doing $array['myownassoc'] += bignumber; But i guess this isnt the right approach when using Ruby? So any help in how i need to go would be nice.

  • android error NoSuchElementException

    - by Alexander
    I have returned a cursor string but it contains a delimiter. The delimiter is . I have the string quest.setText(String.valueOf(c.getString(1)));I want to turn the into a new line. What is the best method to achieve this task in android. I understand there is a way to get the delimeter. I want this to achieved for each record. I can itterate through record like so. Cursor c = db.getContact(2); I tried using a string tokenizer but it doesnt seem to work. Here is the code for the tokenizer. I tested it in just plain java and it works without errors. String question = c.getString(1); // quest.setText(String.valueOf(c.getString(1))); //quest.setText(String.valueOf(question)); StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(question,"<ENTER>"); //DisplayContact(c); // StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(question, "=<ENTER>"); while(st.hasMoreTokens()) { String key = st.nextToken(); String val = st.nextToken(); System.out.println(key + "\n" + val); } I then tried running it in android. • Illegal instruction gcc assembler.

    - by Bernt
    In assembler: .globl _test _test: pushl %ebp movl %esp, %ebp movl $0, %eax pushl %eax popl %ebp ret Calling from c main() { _test(); } Compile: gcc -m32 -o test test.c test.s This code gives me illegal instruction sometimes and segment fault other times. In gdc i always get illegal instruction, this is just a simple test, i had a larger program that was working and suddenly after no apperant reason stopped working, now i always get this error even if i start from scratch like above. I have narrowed it down to pushl %eax (or any other register....), if i comment out that line the code runs fine. Any ideas? (I'm running the program at my universities linux cluster, so I have not changed any settings..)

  • Data model for timesheet to task and/or timesheet to project?

    - by John
    Let's say I want to make a simple project tracking system. A manager can create a project. Then he can create tasks for that project. Team members can record the hours they work for each task or for the project as a whole. Is the following design for the t_timesheet table a good idea? timesheet_id - primary key, autoincrement project_id - not null, foreign key constraint to t_project task_id - nullable, foreign key constraint to t_task user_id - not null, foreign key constraint to t_user hours - decimal Or should I do something like this: timesheet_id - primary key, autoincrement task_id - not null, foreign key constraint to t_task user_id - not null, foreign key constraint to t_user hours - decimal In the second option, I intend to always have a record in t_task labelled "miscellaneous items" with a foreign key to the relevant t_project record. Then I'll be able to track all hours for a project that aren't for any particular task. Are any of the ideas above good? What would be better?

  • Read from a file into an array and stop if a ":" is found in ruby

    - by Minky
    Hi! How can I in Ruby read a string from a file into an array and only read and save in the array until I get a certain marker such as ":" and stop reading? Any help would be much appreciated =) For example: 10.199.198.10:111 test/testing/testing (EST-08532522) 10.199.198.12:111 test/testing/testing (EST-08532522) 10.199.198.13:111 test/testing/testing (EST-08532522) Should only read the following and be contained in the array: 10.199.198.10 10.199.198.12 10.199.198.13

  • Returning NSNull from actionForLayer:forKey

    - by MrHen
    If I implement the CALayer delegate method actionForLayer:forKey I can return [NSNull null] to force the CALayer to not animate any changes. Unfortunately, [NSNull null] doesn't implement the CAAction delegate and XCode kicks out the following warning: warning: class 'NSNull' does not implement the 'CAAction' protocol Here is the method code: - (id<CAAction>)actionForLayer:(CALayer *)theLayer forKey:(NSString *)theKey { //This disables the animations when moving things around //Also, don't animate the selection box. It was doing weird things if(undoGroupStarted || theLayer == self.selectionBox) { return [NSNull null]; } else { return nil; } } Am I doing something wrong? Is returning [NSNull null] bad behavior? If so, what is another way to do what I am trying to do here? If not, how do I make the compiler happy?

  • Using 'Copy as cURL' from Chrome in windows command line

    - by user2029890
    So, Google Chrome as this great 'copy as cURL' option under 'Network' of the Chrome DevTools. Works great in command lines for linux but not in windows. Apparently it has something to do with the single quotes as the error I get is protocol 'http not supported In other words its reading that single quote. Is there a simple way to make this formatable for windows? I tried replacing all the single quotes with double quotes but then nothing happens at all. The command is: curl 'http://www.test.com/login/' -H 'Cookie: PHPSESSID=7dvb25maaaaaa9d7bbbbbc3f6' -H 'Origin: http://www.test.com' -H 'Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate,sdch' -H 'Host: www.test.com' -H 'Accept-Language: en-US,en;q=0.8' -H 'User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/28.0.1500.95 Safari/537.36' -H 'Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded' -H 'Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,/;q=0.8' -H 'Cache-Control: max-age=0' -H 'Referer: http://www.test.com/login/' -H 'Connection: keep-alive' --data 'loc=&login=user%40test.com&password=password&submit1=Sign+In' --compressed Thank you

  • Why is the dictionary debug visualizer less useful in Visual Studio 2010?

    - by Kevin
    I was debugging in Visual Studio 2010, which we just installed and trying to look at a dictionary in the quick watch window. I see Keys and Values, but drilling into those shows the Count and Non-Public members, Non-Public members continues the trail and I never see the values in the dictionary. I can run test.Take(10) and see the values, but why should I have to do that. I don't have VS 2008 installed anymore to compare, but it seems that I could debug a dictionary much easier. Why is it this way now? Is it just a setting I set somehow on my machine? Test code: Dictionary<string, string> test = new Dictionary<string, string>(); test.Add("a", "b");

  • why do I need the @ for setting variable value

    - by Saad
    I'm a little confused about scope of variables, in ruby I wrote a test program: class Test attr_reader :tester def initialize(data) @tester = data end def getData tester end end puts Test.new(11).getData now this works fine, the attr_reader, but my confusion is that since I've define attr_reader :tester then why can't I go tester = data rather then @tester = data, because when retrieving the data in getData I only have to write tester and not @tester

  • environment configuration for tests running in NUnit

    - by Frank Schwieterman
    I have some integration tests that hit a webserver and verify certain functionalities. Depending on the build environment, the server will be at a different address (http://localhost:8080/, http://test-vm/, etc). I would like to run these tests from a TFS build. I'm wondering whats the appropriate way to configure these tests? Would I just add a setting to the config file? I'm doing that currently. Incidentally we do have a separate branch per test environment, so I could have a different config file checked in for each environment. I wonder if there is a better way though? I'd like the build project to be able to tell the test what server to test. This seems better because then I don't have to maintain config information on a per branch basis. I believe I'd be using NUnit for Team Build (http://nunit4teambuild.codeplex.com/) to get NUnit/TFS to play together.

  • Linux C: "Interactive session" with separate read and write named pipes?

    - by ~sd-imi
    Hi all, I am trying to work with "Introduction to Interprocess Communication Using Named Pipes - Full-Duplex Communication Using Named Pipes", http://developers.sun.com/solaris/articles/named_pipes.html#5 ; in particular fd_server.c (included below for reference) Here is my info and compile line: :~$ cat /etc/issue Ubuntu 10.04 LTS \n \l :~$ gcc --version gcc (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5) 4.4.3 :~$ gcc fd_server.c -o fd_server fd_server.c creates two named pipes, one for reading and one for writing. What one can do, is: in one terminal, run the server and read (through cat) its write pipe: :~$ ./fd_server & 2/dev/null [1] 11354 :~$ cat /tmp/np2 and in another, write (using echo) to server's read pipe: :~$ echo "heeellloooo" /tmp/np1 going back to first terminal, one can see: :~$ cat /tmp/np2 HEEELLLOOOO 0[1]+ Exit 13 ./fd_server 2 /dev/null What I would like to do, is make sort of a "interactive" (or "shell"-like) session; that is, the server is run as usual, but instead of running "cat" and "echo", I'd like to use something akin to screen. What I mean by that, is that screen can be called like screen /dev/ttyS0 38400, and then it makes a sort of a interactive session, where what is typed in terminal is passed to /dev/ttyS0, and its response is written to terminal. Now, of course, I cannot use screen, because in my case the program has two separate nodes, and as far as I can tell, screen can refer to only one. How would one go about to achieve this sort of "interactive" session in this context (with two separate read/write pipes)? Thanks, Cheers! Code below: #include <stdio.h> #include <errno.h> #include <ctype.h> #include <sys/types.h> #include <sys/stat.h> #include <fcntl.h> //#include <fullduplex.h> /* For name of the named-pipe */ #define NP1 "/tmp/np1" #define NP2 "/tmp/np2" #define MAX_BUF_SIZE 255 #include <stdlib.h> //exit #include <string.h> //strlen int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { int rdfd, wrfd, ret_val, count, numread; char buf[MAX_BUF_SIZE]; /* Create the first named - pipe */ ret_val = mkfifo(NP1, 0666); if ((ret_val == -1) && (errno != EEXIST)) { perror("Error creating the named pipe"); exit (1); } ret_val = mkfifo(NP2, 0666); if ((ret_val == -1) && (errno != EEXIST)) { perror("Error creating the named pipe"); exit (1); } /* Open the first named pipe for reading */ rdfd = open(NP1, O_RDONLY); /* Open the second named pipe for writing */ wrfd = open(NP2, O_WRONLY); /* Read from the first pipe */ numread = read(rdfd, buf, MAX_BUF_SIZE); buf[numread] = '0'; fprintf(stderr, "Full Duplex Server : Read From the pipe : %sn", buf); /* Convert to the string to upper case */ count = 0; while (count < numread) { buf[count] = toupper(buf[count]); count++; } /* * Write the converted string back to the second * pipe */ write(wrfd, buf, strlen(buf)); } Edit: Right, just to clarify - it seems I found a document discussing something very similar, it is http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Serial_Programming/Serial_Linux#Configuration_with_stty - a modification of the script there ("For example, the following script configures the device and starts a background process for copying all received data from the serial device to standard output...") for the above program is below: # stty raw # ( ./fd_server 2>/dev/null; )& bgPidS=$! ( cat < /tmp/np2 ; )& bgPid=$! # Read commands from user, send them to device echo $(kill -0 $bgPidS 2>/dev/null ; echo $?) while [ "$(kill -0 $bgPidS 2>/dev/null ; echo $?)" -eq "0" ] && read cmd; do # redirect debug msgs to stderr, as here we're redirected to /tmp/np1 echo "$? - $bgPidS - $bgPid" >&2 echo "$cmd" echo -e "\nproc: $(kill -0 $bgPidS 2>/dev/null ; echo $?)" >&2 done >/tmp/np1 echo OUT # Terminate background read process - if they still exist if [ "$(kill -0 $bgPid 2>/dev/null ; echo $?)" -eq "0" ] ; then kill $bgPid fi if [ "$(kill -0 $bgPidS 2>/dev/null ; echo $?)" -eq "0" ] ; then kill $bgPidS fi # stty cooked So, saving the script as say starter.sh and calling it, results with the following session: $ ./starter.sh 0 i'm typing here and pressing [enter] at end 0 - 13496 - 13497 I'M TYPING HERE AND PRESSING [ENTER] AT END 0~?.N=?(?~? ?????}????@??????~? [garble] proc: 0 OUT which is what I'd call for "interactive session" (ignoring the debug statements) - server waits for me to enter a command; it gives its output after it receives a command (and as in this case it exits after first command, so does the starter script as well). Except that, I'd like to not have buffered input, but sent character by character (meaning the above session should exit after first key press, and print out a single letter only - which is what I expected stty raw would help with, but it doesn't: it just kills reaction to both Enter and Ctrl-C :) ) I was just wandering if there already is an existing command (akin to screen in respect to serial devices, I guess) that would accept two such named pipes as arguments, and establish a "terminal" or "shell" like session through them; or would I have to use scripts as above and/or program own 'client' that will behave as a terminal..

Here is an example program: using System; using System.Reflection; namespace ReflectionInternalTest { class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { Assembly asm = Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly(); // Call normally new TestClass(); // Call with Reflection asm.CreateInstance("ReflectionInternalTest.TestClass", false, BindingFlags.Default | BindingFlags.CreateInstance, null, null, null, null); // Pause Console.ReadLine(); } } class TestClass { internal TestClass() { Console.WriteLine("Test class instantiated"); } } } Creating a testclass normally works perfectly, however when i try to create an instance via reflection, I get a missingMethodException error saying it can't find the Constructor (which is what would happen if you tried calling it from outside the assembly). Is this impossible, or is there some workaround i can do?

  • Running rspec against multiple targets

    - by kaerast
    I've written an rspec test using Watir against a web application and it's running fine. However, I now want to be able to run this test against the web application running on different domain names. My initial thought was that I'd be able to pass a value to spec at the command line to set a variable within my script, but I can't see any easy method of doing this. So my second thought was that I might need to add an array of domains into my script and have it test all of them - but I don't always want to test every domain, and the domains are constantly changing as we add and remove sites to be tested. What are my options for allowing the choice of targets I want?

  • .NET equivalent of httpunit

    - by Matt
    I will openly admit that I fall on the side of Test Driven Development. I have run into a situation that I would like to test, but I haven't found a good way to do so. I have been working in ASP.NET MVC and I would like to test that the parts of code that I am putting into the view layer (and I know that I need to keep that as minimal as possible). I am looking for an equivalent in .NET to httpunit in Java or something similar.

  • Is this pointer initialization necessary?

    - by bstullkid
    Lets say I have the following: CHARLINK * _init_link(CHARLINK **link) { short i; (*link)->cl = (CHARLINK **) calloc(NUM_CHARS, sizeof(CHARLINK *)); for (i = 0; i < NUM_CHARS; i++) (*link)->cl[i] = NULL; return (*link); } Is the loop to initialize each element to NULL necessary or are they automatically NULL from calloc?
