    I have this: <a href="javascript:void(0);"> <div> <span>some content</span> <span>some content</span> </div> </a> The problem is hovering the mouse over from one <span> to another triggers an instant mouseout and mouseover again even though they have no padding or margin between them. Even on the browser's status bar the link flickers for an instant. How can this be prevented?

    I'm writing part of a web page that allows a user to build a table and fill it with information. In the course of building the table, the user will be adding additional columns with headers. I'd like to code it so when the combined width of all the headers causes one of them to wrap that the table columns switch to using vertical text (writing-mode: tb-rl).     I have an XML document with companies listed in it. I want to create a link with XSLT that contains the <link> child of the next node. Sorry if this is confusing..here is some sample XML of what i'm trying to obtain: <portfolio> <company> <name>Dano Industries</name> <link>dano.xml</link> </company> <company> <name>Mike and Co.</name> <link>mike.xml</link> </company> <company> <name>Steve Inc.</name> <link>steve.xml</link> </company> </portfolio> I want two links, "BACK" and "NEXT". While currently on mike.xml, I want BACK to link to "dano.xml" and NEXT linked to "steve.xml"...etc..and have it dynamically change when on a different page based on the nodes around it. I want to do this because I may add and change the list as I go along, so I don't want to have to manually re-link everything. How can I obtain this? Sorry I am new to XSLT, so please explain with solution if possible! Thanks in advance!

    There is a common feature of modern browsers where a user can select some text and drag it to an input field. Within the same field it causes moving of text, between different fields it does copying. How do I disable that? If there is no portable way, I am mostly interested in firefox. This is an intranet webapp, so I am also interested in modifying the browser/getting a plugin to do this. Maybe some system-level settings (I`m on windows XP)? I need to keep the default select-copy-paste functionality. The background is I have multiple-field data entry forms, and users often drag something by mistake.

    I have had this problem with every web page I have created. There is always a top margin above the 'main container' div I use to place my content in the center of the page. I am using a css style sheet and have set margins and padding in the body to 0px and set the margin and padding to 0 in the div: body{ margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; padding: 0; color: black; font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; background-color: #E2E2E2;} div.mainContainer{ height: auto; width: 68em; background-color: #FFFFFF; margin: 0 auto; padding: 0;} I have looked online many times, but all I can see to do is set these margin and padding attributes. Is there something else I should be doing? The margin exists in IE and Firefox.

The width and the height of the div is unknown, i.e. it should work for every div dimension and in all major browsers. I tried to use callback but it seems that i make some syntax misteakes which crash jQuery or cause some unexpected behaviour. It seems that i'm stuck so I'd like to ask You for best way to put these animations together to act the way I want. in mouseenter 1st .pp grows, 2nd .tt fade in in mouseleave 1st .tt fade out, 2nd .pp shrink It's alsp relevant that animations doesn't pile up, i mean here animation called by one event doesnt wait until other animation in progress will end.
