    I am trying to build a website consist of three pages but with a contact form using ASP.NET. Now that I have build the layout and all xhtml/css and some javascript and next I wan to convert it so that it's dynamic and can send email. Do I need to convert it using Visual Studio or just rename files from .html to .aspx? and then create a form in Visual studio?... Confused :(

    I am having a problem in accessing Locale string in android. The requirement is:- I have one string in english(values/string.xml) as well as in korean(values-ko/string.xml). Now i want to show my string in both languages in a single activity. I don't want to change phone Locale or call Locale.setDefault("ko") I am trying to call following line but it is not working for me. getString(R.string.mystring, Locale.KOREAN); (My default language is English) Please help

    i use open-search server(http://www.open-search-server.com/) for indexing and searching. i am having problem in highlighting in other languages like hindi or example i searched for "??????" and it returned like "...????? ...Tagalog...Türkçe...??????????...????????...?????...??????...????...Ti?ng Vi?t...??(??)?...??(??)?...???...???..." see the "??????" is splighted and shown like this ??????. is there any way to over come this or turn off this highlighted feature

  • Localization problems in iPhone

    Hi I have been trying to localize my iPhone app in two languages - english and german I have created two folders en.lproj and de.lproj each containing Localizable.strings file for respective language. I have included these files in my resources folder, changed the encoding of these files to UTF-16. I have tried cleaning the project and building it again, deleting folder at path: Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User But the problem is still there. Anybody having an idea please help.

I am wondering for example how pattern matching actually works? For example, I imagine it working the same as a for loop in other languages and checking for matches on each item in a collection.     I'm wondering if it is possible to create a separate APK file which contains only language specific strings and somehow persuade my program to try to read the string resources first from that package's resource and then from the program's own resources... I would like to have a main program with 2-3 mayor laguages and the rest of the languages would go into a separate language pack. (This is to keep the main program size small as I have already 12 translations)

I have tried using JQuery plugins that use YQL to do cross domain Ajax calls; however, they are geared towards json and tend to return the data to me in a mangled state. My question is, is there a way of obtaining an xml feed using ajax from a remote domain?

I was hoping that mxmlc could spit them out (like gcc's -M option), but its option list doesn't seem to have anything relevant. I could write a parser, but would prefer not to reinvent the wheel if it has already been done, particularly given the two very different languages involved. Is there a program available to do this for me?

I'm trying to build a dynamic query in which I'd like to let the user remove a filter, without the backend having to reconstruct the criteria from scratch. Thank you

    Basically, i'm wanting to know if i can use either machine or assembly language to write a program that will work on any computer with an x86 processor, despite differences in operating systems.
