  Hi All, i would like to iterate over the items of a List<T>, except the first, preserving the order. Is there an elegant way to do it with LINQ using a statement like: foreach (var item in list.Skip(1).TakeTheRest()) {.... I played around with TakeWhile , but was not successful. Probably there is also another, simple way of doing it?

I have a site where I have a database for all accounts and whatnot, and another for storing actions that the user has done on the site. Each user has their own table but I want to combine the data of each user group ( all users that are "linked together" ) and order that data in the time the actions took place. • How do you check to see if a variable has changed every second or less in objective c?

  I am using an if statement to check the value of a BOOLEAN when i click on a button. When the button is clicked if the value is false i want to display a UIActivityIndicator and if the value is true i want to push the new view. I can do this fine but i want the view to change automatically when the BOOLEAN Becomes true if the user has already clicked the button. So my question is how do you check to see if a value has changed everysecond or less?

Like with numbers and greater and less than: if (1 < 2) { just with strings: if(@"ahello" < @"bhello") { Or would I have to have a string containing all the letters and then check the index of the first char in each string and see which index is greater, and the index that is less than the other comes first in the alphabet and then if they are equal move on to the next char and repeat?
