  • Thin-border on WPF window?

    - by Rezzie
I'd like to create a window, using WPF, that has a thin border all the way around the form - i.e. no space for the title bar with the icon/caption and min/max/close buttons. For example, the "extra" icons form of the new Windows 7 taskbar: How can I do this with WPF (I don't mind resorting to the Win32 API, if not supported natively by WPF)?

  • [C#] How divide a string into array

    - by Ricky
If I have the following plain string, how do I divide it into an array of three elements? {["a","English"],["b","US"],["c","Chinese"]} ["a","English"],["b","US"],["c","Chinese"] This problem is related to JSON string parsing, so I wonder if there is any API to faciliate the conversion.

  • How to bundle a native library and a JNI library inside a JAR?

    - by Alex B
The library in question is Tokyo Cabinet. I want is to have the native library, JNI library, and all Java API classes in one JAR file to avoid redistribution headaches. There seems to be an attempt at this at GitHub, but It does not include the actual native library, only JNI library. It doesn't work (for me): when I use this JAR, the JVM does not even seem to find the JNI library which is packaged inside the JAR: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no jtokyocabinet in java.library.path (tokyo_cabinet.clj:19)

  • cifs/samba client library

    - by Reflog
Hello. I'm looking for some stand alone library to access SMB/CIFS shares. I am not looking for mounting the shares, just browsing and accessing the files for reading. Preferable something with a simple simple API similar to regular POSIX operations of opendir, scandir, read and etc. Thanks in advance!

  • When using Javascript, is there an Apex built in to get the value of a radio group?

    - by carpenteri
Friends, My apex page has several different radio groups, each one can have the value of Yes or No. When the user presses a button I need to capture the values of these radio groups in the javascript processing for the page and then "do stuff" dependent on their values. Is there an Apex Javascript API that I could utilise to obtain the values? or will I need to implement a function similiar to this? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

  • WCF .Net 4.0 is treating WebProtocolException as an unhandled exception

    - by Benjii
    Im trying to build an API using WCF and .Net 4, however when I throw the WebProtocolException, it is not displaying a nice error message like it should, instead it is treating it like an unhandled exception. I am using the WebServiceHost2Factory. Has anyone else used WebProtocolException with .net 4? An example of my call is below throw new WebProtocolException(System.Net.HttpStatusCode.BadRequest, "The DateFrom parameter is invalid", new Error() { Code = 6002, Message = "Please ensure your dates are in the following format: yyyy/MM/dd hh:mm:ss" }, null, null);

  • Delphi low-level machine parameter access

    - by tonyhooley.mp
There are many very low-level parameters measured by PCs and their processors (e.g. core temperatures, fan-speeds, voltage levels at various parts of the motherboard and processor internals) which are available and displayed by the BIOS, and by some aaplication programs. How does one access these low-level (real-time) data via Delphi? Is there a library? Is there a Windows API?

  • log analysis for rails

    - by deepak
i have a rails app which makes heavy use of activeresource and httparty to make api calls. Is there any library/extension to log the requests and parse them, so that log analysis becomes easier and automated. RailsLogAnalyser is good but what about extra calls, what are the conventions? Something like a opensource/self-hosted alternative to newrelic, but with extensions to plug in your own logging.

  • Useful Java Annotations

    - by Jon
I'm interested in finding out exactly which Java annotations people think are most useful during development. This doesn't necessarily have to limited to the core Java API, you may include annotations you found in third party libraries or annotations you've developed yourself (make sure you include a link to the source). I'm really interested in common development tasks rather than knowing why the @ManyToOne(optional=false) in JPA is awesome... Include the annotation and a description of why it's useful for general development.

  • Calling Python from Ruby

    - by Yktula
Would it be possible to integrate Python and Ruby with some degree of transparency? I've looked at http://www.goto.info.waseda.ac.jp/~fukusima/ruby/python/doc/ , but it seems rather outdated. Perhaps this is not an appropriate approach, but would it be possible to generate a Ruby interface for Python's C API?

  • The iPhone “phone” doesn’t have the provisioning profile with which the application was signed.

    - by eda
i have tried everything to fix this provision problem and nothing is working. ive reformated my mac, reinstalled the iphone, ive also dragged the provisions (developer and distribution) onto the organizer, itunes, and xcode. in itunes people say to drag the provisions to the iphone icon but that doesnt work its only able to go under library it shows a blue rectangle for me to drop it there. i just have a newly created dummy app with a 57x57 icon. ive also setup the project with the distribution thing with its distribution provision. when i build i get this: The iPhone “myphone” doesn’t have the provisioning profile with which the application was signed. Click “Install and Run” to install the provisioning profile “distribution” on “myphone” and continue running “helloworld.app”. and it has a button "install and run" ive clicked on that hundreths of times and nothing. in orgranizer i see a tab called console ive cleared it and rebuild the app and there is some output that i dont understand. I'm thinking its my problem whats it mean? • objective-c iphone XML parsing one element

    - by Marko
I know that when parsing XML with objective-c most of the time you use NSXMLParser. But what if you only need to read one element. Using NSXMLParser sounds like an overload to me. The issue is that flickr API doesn't use JSON as response when uploading an image. So my response now is: 4638598522 I only need to know the photoid and I like to know what the best solution will be for this.
