  • Who makes software validation? What are the steps of its?

    Fill in the X,Y,Z please. Software validation has X,Y,Z steps. Client have to provide X,Y,Z to the developer before starting to write software. When software finished, validation completes with doing X,Y,Z (sign, approval, test pictures, logs etc.). If we buy a general software like invoice management tool or SAP module which can modify/change for every customer, who should make the software validation?

  • Refactor file copy in Visual Studio?

    Does Visual Studio / Resharper support this? By refactor copy I mean to be able to enter new class name in some dialog, and to have the tool do all the refactoring (renaming) for you. No Copy of ... file names, and no error upon having two classes with same name in the project. Netbeans does this out-of-the-box :(

    Is there a way to automatically grab the rules, in their original, human readable format from an InfoPath 2007 form (probably the manifest.xsf file, they're not human readable here)? A commercial tool would be fine, even. We're looking to build a summary of the rules as they appear in the design form for easy browsing by a maintenance team.

  • TortoiseSVN : Good 'patch file' viewer ?

    Hi, The default patch file viewer is messy (ie. no side by side diff view etc). I tried setting the path of beyondCompare exe in "Settings-Unified Diff Viewer-custom", but beyond compare also behaves same as default diff tool. Is there a way to atleast allow side by side diff in patch files ? If so, what is the method ? My aim is to allow emailing of changes so that they can be reviewed before I commit them :) Mishal

  • RTSP streaming and save into mp4 file using VLC

    Hello All let say i am having one RTSP url (rtsp://192.168.0.17/mpeg4). the live camera is setup on the machine which relay live video. i am streaming it using vlc player and i am saving it in mp4 file on some location (i.e. c:\temp.mp4). Now i am opening another vlc player instance and open this file (c:\temp.mp4). but as it is in use and saving live streaming to that file. that will not be played. if if stop the streaming and then played temp.mp4 file then it will play the streamed (saved) video. Now my requirement is VLC player should also stream and save into temp.mp4 file continuously and at the same time that file should be played in any standard player. is it possible to do with any option using VLC player that we can do both this things simultaneously.   • Respecting EXIF orientation when displaying iPhone photos on the web

    I am developing an iPhone camera app that uploads an image to Amazon S3 and that image is displayed on a website. When the iPhone takes a picture, it always saves the photo in an upright orientation, while the orientation used to correctly view the photo is saved in the image's EXIF data. So if I take a photo with the iPhone and open it in FireFox without processing the EXIF data, the image could be sideways or upside down. My problem is that I don't know how to display the photo in it's correct orientation on the website. My current solution is to rotate the photo in the iPhone app, but I'd rather not do that. Is there anyway to respect the EXIF data when displaying on the web without pre-processing the image?

I have some legacy code with 677 references to raw types: ArrayList 47 Vector 420 Hashtable 61 Enumeration 64 Class 7 Iterator 78 TOTAL 677 Now I could manually look through the code to infer the generic types and replace, but that is going to take a long time.

  • Iframe Facebook application and cookies [Internet Explorer]

    I have downloaded the IBM P3P editor, created files and uploaded them to my server. And cookies are still not recognized in Internet Explorer. I've checked the P3P validation tool and it seems to validate. The application can be viewed here: apps.facebook.com/naplesnews and the iframe points to www.naplesnews.com/facebook/app/. Again www.naplesnews.com/facebook/app/ seems to validate with no issues as well. Any idea what I'm missing here?
