  • sanitation script in php for login credentials...

    What I am looking for currently is a simple, basic, login credentials sanitation script. I understand that I make a function to do so and I have one...but all it does right now is strip tags... am I doomed to use replace? or is there a way i can just remove all special characters and spaces and limit it to only letters and numbers...then as for the password limit it to only letters and numbers exclimation points, periods, and other special chars that cannot affect my SQL query.     I have login/signup popups on my site which are in hidden div by default. According to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1547426/google-seo-and-hidden-elements googlebot should NOT see it. But Google Webmaster tool says that keywords "email" and "password" are top keywords over the site. Why it is so? Why google bot sees them? Should I worry about relevancy of top keywords at all?

  • What could cause an 101 Error in WAMP under Windows 7 ?

    Hey, I'be been using WAMP for local development for quite a while now but lately I've been getting an Error 101 message when I browse localhost sites. It's possible for this to have appeared after the last WAMP update but I'm not 100% sure on this. If I try again and again, after several page refreshes it works but it's really annoying! The exact error message is: Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error. This is my configuration: OS: Windows 7 Apache: 2.2.11 PHP: 5.2.9-2 WAMP: 2.0 Also the local scripts connect to a remote MySQL server, they don't use the local MySQL(I don't know if it matters, just though I let you know). I've been looking into the apache logs and I've found the following.     Hi. We are a team working on a bunch of SSIS packages, which we share using version control (SVN). We have three ways of saving sensitive data in these packages : not storing them at all storing them with a user key storing them with a password However, each of these options is inconvenient while testing packages saved and committed by an other developer. For each such package, one has to update the credentials, no matter how the sensitive data was persisted. Is there a better way to collaborate on SSIS packages?

Since the post proceedure only requires this : JSON: curl -u username:password -d status="your message here" http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/update.json I was wondering if it is possible with the standard libraries to format this so a message could be sent. My head says it should be possible.

  • Having Trouble Ripping Some CD's

    Hi, When I buy CD's I tend to rip them to FLAC right away. When ripping I use Foobar2000 or Exact Audio Copy and enable secure ripping which uses error correction. Recently I bought a 2 CD compilation album brand new but when I tried to rip the second CD on my laptop using Foobar2000 it struggled with the last 2 tracks and was unable to finish. EAC was also unable to get an accurate rip and reports read errors. Ripping in fast mode results in audible errors in the output track. I have tried another computer and having similar problems. I cannot see any damage to the disc and it has not been dropped or anything. The weird thing is that I had similar problems with a different album and different PC a while back. This other CD was a compilation disk so it was also right up to the CD capacity limit and again it was the last few tracks that would not rip. Dozens of other discs have ripped fine So I am wondering if the CD is simply defective, or whether it is something else. How common are defective CD's? Do some CD drives struggle with CD's of this capacity? Or Is this some kind of copy protection? I'm thinking of asking Amazon for a replacement but it would be annoying if I get the same problem again.

I've created the users for the login and the role to access the "Members" folder. But in my host company, it doesnt work. I have the aspnet database from my computer in that databese "jsilvaqqc.mdf". When i try to log on pops up box requiring autentication. But i've alreadu given that in the log in form. Do i need aspnet "authentication" tag? Why dont i need it in my machine if i access the same database? Thanks for you help.

  • Permissions error when connecting to EC2 via SSH on Mac OSx

    i run web application on iis 6 , windows server 2003 , mysql database. first it was working fine, but when i reconfigured the mysql server with the same password it gave me this message error when i want to enter any page in browser : "MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: There is no 'root'@'%' registered". i checked the app connection it's the same, as though the app doesn't see the localhost , because "dbforge" sometimes give me this message: "connection localhost cannot be found" but when i doubleclick the connection it opens as root. any idea to solve this problem

  • Why would I need a firewall if my server is well configured?

    I admin a handful of cloud-based (VPS) servers for the company I work for. The servers are minimal ubuntu installs that run bits of LAMP stacks / inbound data collection (rsync). The data is large but not personal, financial or anything like that (ie not that interesting) Clearly on here people are forever asking about configuring firewalls and such like. I use a bunch of approaches to secure the servers, for example (but not restricted to) ssh on non standard ports; no password typing, only known ssh keys from known ips for login etc https, and restricted shells (rssh) generally only from known keys/ips servers are minimal, up to date and patched regularly use things like rkhunter, cfengine, lynis denyhosts etc for monitoring I have extensive experience of unix sys admin. I'm confident I know what I'm doing in my setups. I configure /etc files. I have never felt a compelling need to install stuff like firewalls: iptables etc. Put aside for a moment the issues of physical security of the VPS. Q? I can't decide whether I am being naive or the incremental protection a fw might offer is worth the effort of learning / installing and the additional complexity (packages, config files, possible support etc) on the servers. To date (touch wood) I've never had any problems with security but I am not complacent about it either.
