Is there a good library to resize an image in .NET with good quality? I'm not pleased with the quality of resized images that GDI+ produces.
It does not matter if the library is free or at a cost.
I've an ASP.NET dropdown list and getting selected value by using the .SelectedValue. I also set this value in some cases by assigning to it. I seem to be randomly not getting this value set even when I choose the item from the drop down. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Ideas?

Switching aged 2003 SRV to 2008 caused my Asp.net 2 application fail: The application is no more loading the required library DLL from /bin/ folder anymore.
What should I change in my code or web.config to make this webapp load OK also in new 2008 server?
Now I receive this error when I access the application: This type is in IMPORTS ( Dll ).
Compiler Error Message: BC30002: Type
'Facebook.Entity.User' is not defined.
How do I cache an individual user control with ASP.NET MVC? I also need the VaryByParam etc support that usually comes with ASPX Output Caching. I don't want to cache the entire action though, only one of my user controls in the view.
An example would be nice :) Thank you!

This question (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/245566/net-compact-framework-4-0) asked this back before the release of VS 2010. The answer basically said to wait for the release.
Now that the release is here, does anyone know? Is there an upgrade/update to the .NETCF? something past .NETCF 3.5?
Hi all,

.NET 4 includes new concurrent data structures. The Bag and Dictionary collections have obvious applications but I cannot see any use for the Queue and Stack data structures. What are people using these for?
Also, I've noticed that the design based upon linked lists incurs a lot of allocation and that destroys scalability. This is surprising given that the sole purpose of these collections is multicore programming. Is this an inherent limitation or are they just badly implemented?
Hi,
I would like to call a function automatically lets say every 2 secs.

We have message framing working by using a lengh prefix but using .NET 2.0 beginSend/BeginReceive.
Is message framing any different in 3.5, if so how should we implement it using the new framework?
Are there any useable examples out there which focus purely on message framing using 3.5?
Many thanks

I would like to execute a stored proc that simply updates a record. At this point I would like to keep it parameter less. But in future, I will be adding parameters to the stored proc. Can I simply do it via SQLDataSource? It will save me writing few lines of code to execute stored proc in a traditional ado.net. If its possible, could you please supply me with a sample code?
Thanks

In a project using .Net4 - should there be any issues referencing dlls built for older versions of .Net? We're talking 3rd Party dlls here.
I'm asking this as a general question. Specifically I have a problem referencing FluentNHibernate.dll - built with .Net3.5. It worked justed fine before I updated my project from .Net3.5 to .Net4.
Can someone please direct me on how to do this type of setup, i.e. I have a Windows Server with ASP.NET pages and would like to pass those credentials using Integrated Windows Authentication to a Linux-based Oracle DB.
