    Hello. I'd like to make a slider to choose time(from 1:00 to 4:00) but it doesn't work. It doesn't communicate with 'select'. But now I want to pass some value to the function to make it dynamic, like $('input')change(check('.info')); and changed the function to function check(sel) { $(sel +' input, '+ sel + ' select').each(function(n, element){ if ($(element).val()=='') alert('empty'); }); } but it doesn't work.     Hi, I have a label on a page and I'm updating the text property of the label when text is changed in a textbox. I'm updating the label like so: $myLabel.text("hello"); The text is being displayed correctly on the screen butwhen I try to save the text value to an object in the code behind (When I press a button) the text property of the label is "" and not "hello". var myLabel = myLabel.Text; //the var myLabel is "" when it should be "hello" Any ideas as to why this would be?     Let's say I do this: $("#content").load(...); Within what I'm loading some javascript is included: var myCounter = 0; var myInterval = setInterval(function(){ myCounter++; $("#counter-display").html("Count: "+myCounter); }); For an unknown reason, if I reload the content with $("#content").load(...); - myInterval is now being called twice. I tried doing something like: if (myInterval !== undefined){ //dont set interval again } However, it doesn't work. Does anyone know any method so that myInterval is cleared on .load, without needing to put the javascript outside of the loaded file?

  • Jquery click function does not load ajax tabs

    I have some tabs that load ajax content. When I click on the tabs it loads the ajax content perfectly no issues works exactly like it does in the Jqueryui demos. But when I try and change tab using an onclick function it opens the tab but doesn't do the ajax. Is this a known issue can it be done??   • PHP JQuery: Where to specify uploadify destination folder

    I have an uploadify script running, basic setup. Works fine when I hard code the destination folder for the images into uploadify.php - now I want to make that folder dynamic. How do I do this? I have a PHP variable $uploadify_path which contains the path to the folder I want. I have switched out my hard coded $targetPath = path/to/directory for $targetPath = $uploadify_path in both uploadify.php and check_exists.php, but it does not work. The file upload animation runs, says it is complete, yet the directory remains empty. The file is not hiding out somewhere else either. I see there is an option in the Javascript to specify a folder. I tried this also, but to no avail. If anyone could educate me on how to pass this variable destination to uploadify, I'd be very grateful.     Hi, This function is called when an up/down arrow is clicked to slide hidden div. If the div is hidden, the arrow points down and changes to up when the div is shown. If the div is shown, the arrow points up to hide div and changes to down when the div is closed. I just wanted to know if there was a more efficient way of doing this or if this is the correct way.     I have the following code: var selected = $('#hiddenField').val().split(","); ... if (selected.indexOf(id) > 0) { ... set value ... } I'm dynamically creating a CheckBoxList, and trying to remember the state of the checkboxes by putting the selected IDs into the hidden field. I get an error stating that "Object doesn't support this property or method". My assumption is that selected is an array, which should support indexOf. Is that incorrect?
