  • Apache - Reverse Proxy and HTTP 302 status messsage

    My team is trying to setup an Apache reverse proxy from a customer's site into one of our web applications. http://www.example.com/app1/some-path maps to http://internal1.example.com/some-path Inside our application we use struts and have redirect = true set on certain actions in order to provide certain functionality. The 302 status messages from these re-directs cause the user to break out of the proxy resulting in an error page for the end user. HTTP/1.1 302 Found Location: http://internal.example.com/some-path/redirect Is there any way to setup the reverse proxy in apache so that the redirects work correctly? http://www.example.com/app1/some-path/redirect

I'm having trouble creating a tableview that leaves room at the top for a toolbar. How to I size and layout the Tableview so that it is less than full screen? Is this an AutoResizing mask problem?     SQL injection that actually runs a SQL command is one thing. But injecting data that doesn't actually run a harmful query but that might tell you something valuable about the database, is that considered SQL injection? Or is it just used as part to construct a valid SQL injection? An example could be set rs = conn.execute("select headline from pressReleases where categoryID = " & cdbl(request("id")) ) Passing this a string that could not be turned into a numeric value would cause Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: 'cdbl' which would tell you that the column in question only accepts numeric data and is thus probably of type integer or similar. I seem to find this in a lot of pages discussing SQL injection, but don't really get an answer if this in itself is considered SQL injection. The reason for my question is that I have a scanning tool that report a SQL injection vulnerability and reports a VBScript runtime error '800a000d' as the reason for the finding.

  • CakePHP Bake association problem

    I have only two tables in my database with a one-to-many relationship between them (user hasMany messages) and am trying to get basic CRUD functionality going. Bake detects the associations correctly and specifies them correctly inside the model classes, but in controllers and views it looks like Cake doesn't know anything about those associations -- I don't even get a select tag for user_id when I go add a new message. Has anyone come across this problem before? What can I be doing wrong?     Hi, i'm working in a big and rich rails web application using tons of javascript. I would like to know if anybody has a tip to organize the javascripts. Today i'm generating a new file named controller.js and adding it to my views using content_for. The problem is, some files are becoming big and sometimes, i need a function from one controller in another, so then in the end, i add a products.js to a details controller just to keep DRY. Is that solution good? Any other tip? I think the same pattern can be applied as well to css files?

  • Authentication using cookie key with asynchronous callback

    I need to write authentication function with asynchronous callback from remote Auth API. Simple authentication with login is working well, but authorization with cookie key, does not work. It should checks if in cookies present key "lp_login", fetch API url like async and execute on_response function. The code almost works, but I see two problems. First, in on_response function I need to setup secure cookie for authorized user on every page. In code user_id returns correct ID, but line: self.set_secure_cookie("user", user_id) does't work. Why it can be? And second problem. During async fetch API url, user's page has loaded before on_response setup cookie with key "user" and the page will has an unauthorized section with link to login or sign on. It will be confusing for users. To solve it, I can stop loading page for user who trying to load first page of site. Is it possible to do and how?     Hi, I've started using Vim for my rails development (who hasn't!).. And i'm loving it except that when im in a html.erb file (HTML and Ruby).. I get no snipMate snippets, I would like both html and ruby... or just html would be fine, How would i do this? Would i need to write a set of snippets? if so is there a way of pulling in existing snippets without copying them? Is there a way of telling vim to go into html mode when it sees .html erb?   • Extand legacy site with another server-side programming platform best practice

    Company I work for have a site developed 6-8 years ago by a team that was enthusiastic enough to use their own private PHP-based CMS. I have to put dynamic data from one intranet company database on this site in one week: 2-3 pages. I contacted company site administrator and she showed me administrative part - CMS allows only to insert html blocks & manage site map (site is deployed on machine that is inside company & fully accessible & upgradable). I'm not a PHP-guy & I don't want to dive into legacy hardly-who-ever-heard-about CMS engine I also don't want to contact developers team, 'cos I'm not sure they are still present and capable enough to extend this old days site and it'll take too much time anyway. I am about to deploy helper asp.net site on iis with 2-3 pages required & refer helper site via iframe from present site. New pages will allow to download some dynamic content from present site also. Is it ok and what are the pitfalls with iframe approach?
