  • Include HTML file as embedded resource

    - by Stacey
    A followup to another question I did, I've done some more digging but I am still coming up dry. Is there any way to include .HTML/.ASPX files as 'embedded resources' into an ASP.NET MVC application? I've found lots of examples of using string resources, but never other files entirely.

  • HTML/CSS Design for Report

    - by Kevin Brown
    I'm looking for some resources that demonstrate good graphic design for generated (PHP/HTML/CSS) reports. The website I'm designing is essentially a long test. Everything is finished except the report generation, and this part needs to look good! I'd appreciate any advice/resources you can point me to! I know this isn't directly programming related, but my purposes do encompass coding and output.

  • How to convert an CHM file into a single HTML file?

    - by ruslan
    I have tried many different CHM-to-HTML utilities, but I am having a difficult time finding one that is able to produce a single HTML file. I can decompile a CHM file using hh.exe, but I don't know how to easily merge the resulting files into a single HTML file, all while preserving the correct order of pages. Is there a free tool which can do this? If not, how can I merge the HTML files in order?

  • jQuery Validation Plugin: Validating Checkboxes with Different Names

    - by Michael
    I have a set of 4 checkboxes, all with different names, and require that at least 1 is checked. I know there are a few posts on here already trying to answer this question. The solution that seems to be most logical to me is the answer posted on Question 1734840, but I can't seem to get it working! What's wrong with my code? Or any other new coding ideas to get this working? I have set the class on all of them to 'require-one'. My jQuery code is $(document).ready(function(){ $("#itemForm").validate({ highlight: function(element, errorClass, validClass) { $(element).addClass(errorClass).removeClass(validClass); $(element.form).find("label[for=" + element.name + "]") .addClass("radioerror"); }, unhighlight: function(element, errorClass, validClass) { $(element).removeClass(errorClass).addClass(validClass); $(element.form).find("label[for=" + element.name + "]") .removeClass("radioerror"); }, rules: { 'require-one': { required : { depends: function(element) { var allBoxes = $('.require-one'); if (allBoxes.filter(':checked').length == 0) { if (allBoxes.eq(element).length != 0) { return true; } } return false; } } } , }, errorPlacement: function(error, element) { if ( element.is("#other_descrip") ) error.appendTo("#othererror" ); if ( element.is("#itemlist") ) error.appendTo("#itemerror" ); } }); });

    Hello I have a following formvalidatior function in my document. function formValidator(formid) { var form = cic.$(formid); if(!form) return (''); var errors = []; var len = form.elements.length; for(var elementIdx = 0; elementIdx < len; elementIdx++) { var element = form.elements[elementIdx]; if(!element && !element.getAttribute('validationtype')) return (''); switch (element.getAttribute('validationtype')) { case 'text' : if(cic.getValue(element).strip() == "") errors.push(element.getAttribute('validationmsg')); break; case 'email' : if(!cic.isEmail(cic.getValue(element))) errors.push(element.getAttribute('validationmsg')); break; case 'numeric' : if(isNaN(cic.getValue(element).replace(',', '.'))) errors.push(element.getAttribute('validationmsg')); break; case 'confirm' : if(cic.getValue(cic.$(element.getAttribute('sourcefield'))) !== cic.getValue(element)) errors.push(element.getAttribute('validationmsg')); break; } } return (errors.length > 0) ? What will be the best practice to change this function in such a way that it can validate document forms and iframe from simeltaniously. Thanks

  • How to implement a Linked List in Java?

    - by nbarraille
    Hello! I am trying to implement a simple HashTable in Java that uses a Linked List for collision resolution, which is pretty easy to do in C, but I don't know how to do it in Java, as you can't use pointers... First, I know that those structures are already implemented in Java, I'm not planning on using it, just training here... So I created an element, which is a string and a pointer to the next Element: public class Element{ private String s; private Element next; public Element(String s){ this.s = s; this.next = null; } public void setNext(Element e){ this.next = e; } public String getString(){ return this.s; } public Element getNext(){ return this.next; } @Override public String toString() { return "[" + s + "] => "; } } Of course, my HashTable has an array of Element to stock the data: public class CustomHashTable { private Element[] data; Here is my problem: For example I want to implement a method that adds an element AT THE END of the linked List (I know it would have been simpler and more efficient to insert the element at the beginning of the list, but again, this is only for training purposes). How do I do that without pointer? Here is my code (which could work if e was a pointer...): public void add(String s){ int index = hash(s) % data.length; System.out.println("Adding at index: " + index); Element e = this.data[index]; while(e != null){ e = e.getNext(); } e = new Element(s); } Thanks!

  • Silverlight 4 OOB application access HTML DOM of the page in WebBrowser control

    - by Mike Weerasinghe
    Does anybody know if it is possible to access and manipulate an element in the html page that is rendered by the Silverlight 4 WebBrowser control. The scenario is like this. The user launches a Silverlight OOB application with elevated trust. The user manipulates some data in the application but must submit part of the data to an external web site. If I open the external site in a WebBrowser control, is there any way I can assist the user by pre filling some information in the external sites' web form via programmatic access to the DOM?

  • Using C# WATIN, how do I get the value of a INPUT tag html element?

    - by djangofan
    Using C# WATIN, how do I get the value of the second occurence of a INPUT tag html element on a page? I've tried a whole bunch of things and haven't succeeded. The debugger isn't giving me any obvious way to get element[1] among the 4 that returned. Console.WriteLine(ie.Element(Find.ByClass("myclass")).GetAttributeValue("value") ) ; // works but prints the value of the 1st of 4 input elements on the page Console.WriteLine(ie.ElementsWithTag("input", "text").Length.ToString() ); // returns the number 4 Console.WriteLine( ie.Element(Find.ByName("login")).GetAttributeValue("value") ); // works but its not safe since its possible there might be two elements with the name login Basically, I want to be able to select the input element by its array index.

  • Need help unformatting text

    - by Axilus
    I am currently programming a Visual C# service to receive emails from various sources then I take certain info and organize it in a database using Regex to retrieve the deferent cell values (such as header, body, problem, cost, etc.etc.). My problem is that I am currently using a Hotmail account to email the service which the service then extracts data and writes it to a csv file; however this is all going fine an dandy except for the fact that the text is formated so when there is a "\n" or something of the sort, the program decides to not input the data that follows that into the cell. For instance, if I emailed this: Cost:$1000.00 Body: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Sed vulputate mattis dolor, a dapibus turpis lacinia mollis.
