• Common way to compare timestamp in oracle, postgres and SQL Server

  I am writing a sql query which involves finding if timestamp falls in particular range of days. I have written that in the postgres but it doesn't works in Oracle and SQL Server: AND creation_date < (CURRENT_TIMESTAMP - interval '5 days') AND creation_date >= (CURRENT_TIMESTAMP - interval '15 days') Is there are common way to compare the timestamp across different databases?

  hi i m finding similarity between documents ....nd to measure that i used jaccard coefficient...i did like dis D1=(8,0,0,1) where 8,0,0,1 are the tf-idf scores of the terms t1, t2, t3 , t4 D2=(7,0,0,0) jaccard coefficient= dotproduct(d1,d2) / |d1|+|d2|-dotproduct(d1,d2) and the answer comes out to be " -1.367931 "...what does it signify about the similarity between the documents...pls do reply..please...thank u..

  I have a base32 string which I need to convert to a byte array. And I'm having trouble finding a conversion method in the .net framework. I can find methods for base64 but not for base32. Convert.FromBase64String – something like this for base32 would be perfect. Is there such a method in the framework or do I have to roll my own?

• Modify a reference numbered group to match against

  I want to match YYYY-YY for sequential years. I at moment I'm trying to match where all the second YY is the 3rd and 4th characters in YYYY with 1 added to it. So far I've got {19|20}(\d{2})-(\d{2}), but not sure how to use ? with reference to (1) or whether I'm going about this the right way and finding out the inevitable "unknown unknowns" (like YY99) with this approach? • XCode copies blank database when doing build...

  I've noticed that even though I placed my sqlite3 database in the "resources" folder, and even though I checked the "Copy file" box, when I do a build, XCode creates an empty database toi the application folder it's building...so it's FINDING the database, and OPENING it, but there's nothing IN it, so when I do a sqlite3_prepare_v2, I get a SQLITE_ERROR... Help! What am I doing wrong?

• No pre-built ActionBar for Android pre-3.0?

  I note the release a few days ago of the static library bringing fragments to Android versions prior to 3.0, but does this library include the ActionBar? I suspect not. I assume that for an app that will work on pre-3.0 versions, that it needs a hand-built ActionBar implementation for versions up to 2.3 and then to use the OS default ActionBar in v3.0? for some reason I assumed the library had ActionBar in it, but as I dig further I'm not finding any evidence of its presence.

  I am using gsub in Ruby to make a word within text bold. I am using a word boundary so as to not make letters within other words bold, but am finding that this ignores words that have a quote after them. For example: text.gsub(/#{word}\b/i, "<b>#{word}</b>") text = "I said, 'look out below'" word = below In this case the word below is not made bold. Is there any way to ignore certain characters along with a word boundary?
