  • Deadlock Problem because of an Update Lock.

    We have a deadlock issue we're trying to track down. I have an deadlock graph (xdl) generated from Profiler. It shows the losing SQL statement as a simple Select statement, not an Update, Delete or Insert statement. The graph shows the losing Select statement as requesting a Shared lock on a resource **but also owning an Update lock on a resource**. This is what is baffling me. Why would a Select statement that is not part of an Insert, Update or Delete ever hold an Update lock on a resource? I should add that the Update lock it owns is on the table being selected against by the losing Select statement.

  • Problem with nhibernate join

    I'm trying to do a join like this using fluent nhibernate: Id(x => x.Id); Map(x => x.SourceSystemRecordId,"sourceSystemRecord_id"); Then Join("cat.tbl_SourceSystemRecords", SourceSystemRecords); But, it seems I don't have a way to specify the column I want to join with from the first table, in this case I need to join on SourceSystemRecordId and not on Id Is there any way I can specify this? I tried References() but that requires me to create an object for this relationship, what I need is to aggregate the columns in sourcesystem records to the ones in the main table.

    Hi, I have a prblem with my code. I have a viewController and a singleton class. When i call the method readXml and run a for my program update the UITextView. When i call the clearTextView method the program exit with EXC_BAD_ACCESS. The prblem it's the name of the variable position. This is invalid but i don't change anything between the two methods. You have an idea?     I am using rails beta 3 and I have a erb page named index.html.erb for discussions controller. In that page, I have a link as following: <%= link_to 'Delete', {:action='destroy', :id=@discussion}, :confirm="Are you sure", :method='post' % Which is supposed to generate a link to delete a discussion, however, the generated html is Delete which always routes to the show action. I think the href should be /discussions/destroy/1. But for some reason it is not. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • jQuery $.each()-problem

    Hi, im making a wordpress plugin and i have a function where i import images, this is done with a $.each()-loop that calls a .load()-function every iteration. The load-function page the load-function calls is downloading the image and returns a number. The number is imported into a span-element. The source and destination Arrays is being imported from LI-elemnts of a hidden ULs. this way the user sees a counter counting from zero up to the total number of images being imported. You can se my jQuery code below: jQuery(document).ready(function($) { $('#mrc_imp_img').click(function(){ var dstA = []; var srcA = []; $("#mrc_dst li").each(function() { dstA.push($(this).text()) }); $("#mrc_src li").each(function() { srcA.push($(this).text()) }); $.each(srcA, function (i,v) { $('#mrc_imgimport span.fc').load('/wp-content/plugins/myplugin/imp.php?num='+i+'&dst='+dstA[i]+'&src='+srcA[i]); }); }); }); This works pretty good but sometimes it looks like the load function isn't updating the DOM as fast as it should because sometimes the numbers that the span is updated with is lower than the previous and almost everytime a lower number is replacing the last number in the end. How can i prevent this from happening and how can i make it hide '#mrc_imp_img' when the $.each-loop is ready?
