Specifically (but not limited to): 1: Do the rapid-development characteristics of ColdFusion compensate for any performance issues resulting from the additional overhead? 2: Is either particularly suited to individual or team development? 3: Is rapidly developing an application in ColdFusion and then porting it to PHP to improve performance a proposition that only a madman or venture capitalist would consider?

  • can not connect to web page when i am connected to server

    tracert mojpacient.si return over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 89-212-252-73.static.t-2.net [89.212.252.73] but if in browser i run www.mojpacient.si when i am connected to server i get connection timeout. If i am out of local network then i can connect to mojpacient.si Does anyone have any idea how is this possible and what is wrong. I suspect IIS7 but do not know what in IIS7.

    I have index.php which uploads a file to server and sets several PHP variables (like $target_folder_and_file_name). index.php also has the following line (it was originally index.html): <script language="JavaScript" src="main.js.php"></script> After index.php returned to the browser, the browsers asks for main.js.php from the server (right?). Can I access somehow $target_folder_and_file_name from the PHP code in main.js.php ?

    Hi, Has anyone encountered something like this? I was expecting file.txt to be inside "testbranch/src/" folder after executing the command written command. But I get entry at "testbranch/src" to be a file type rather than directory type!   • JSon/Jquery request with a setTimeout always returns a "null" result? (for Twitter Search API)

    I make a call to the twitter API. 100 posts are retreived + a properties that tells me what the next page to call is. So I wait 5 sec. and call that next page, but the JSon results in the callback function is always null the second time... I think it's probably a JQuery problem...   • Publishing web service on IIS 7 gives 500.19 - Internal Server Error

    Hello. I have created a folder and published my webservice to this folder. I then created an application (in IIS 7) and pointed it at this folder location. When I try and hit the ASMX file from a browser on the local machine I get the following error: HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid. Can someone tell me why?

  • get rid of red X in IE for non-existing images

    I have a 3rd website (Confluence) which references images which are secured by a login. If the current user is logged in the image is shown if not the image url would redirect to a login form. Example When you enter this url in the browser a redirect to the login page is done. The problem now: IE shows a the dreaded red X icon for the image even though there should be just nothing (like in Firefox). Anyone knows how to get around this?
