    Hello friends, I have a page where i enter the number of members i need to add now suppose i chose 3 so on next page i have get a display like member1 enter details(name, address, phone etc) just below that again member2 enter details(name, address, phone etc) and member3 enter details(name, address, phone etc)in short the no of forms displayed in a page depends on the no of member an user want to add and on submitting the data's of 3(no. provided by the user)member has to be inserted. As i am a rookie to asp.net its hard for me to imagine the logic and implementing them, what to do about tose textfied id's? how to generate the id's and how to separate the codes in .cs and .aspx etc

  • Populate FILE field with default text

    I'm trying to reutilize code that generates FILE fields for use when something is to be added to the database, and grayed out (and disabled) with data already in the database when the item in question is being edited or viewed in detail. However, I can't seem to get the text to fill the field. I'm using this: echo '<input type="file" name="small[]" value="' . $value_from_database . '" DISABLED><br>'; Am I missing anything? If not, are there any decent workarounds?

  • Looking for Opinions and Sugestions on my Website. (General Question)

    I am looking for general opinions and suggestions about the site in whole. Its ok I don't mind hearing where I went wrong on anything. I'm still learning. All tips and pointers on any subject relating are highly welcome. If you are going to make a suggestion and post a snippet or code please explain how it works in detail. The site was design as a interface to display the labs I have to do in my college (the labs are all basic things that I'm way beyond). So I decided to take it all to the next level with this. The link is http://opentech.durhamcollege.ca/~intn2201/brittains/labs/ It is 100% designed by me with the exception of the icons. (I could not think of anything better to draw) There is no specific area of the site I want suggestions or opinions on this is a general question.   • Change the colors of JvectorMap when there are 2 maps on the page

    i am using Jvectormap to place 2 maps on my page. the maps are placed normally and everything is fine. they are placed in 2 different divs: <div id="map1"> </div> <div id="map2"> </div> and the Jquery: $(function () { $('#map1').vectorMap({ color: '#aaaaaa', backgroundColor: '#ffffff', hoverOpacity: 1, hoverColor: true }); }); $(function () { $('#map2').vectorMap({ color: '#aaaaaa', backgroundColor: '#ffffff', hoverOpacity: 1, }); }); Now when I try to change the colors of map2 dynamically using: $("#map2").vectorMap("set", "colors", colorsDictionnary); The colors of the first one only is changed. and this happens only when changing colors. Always the first one have it's colors changed even if I am using $("#map2") How can change the colors of the map2 without touching map1? Thank you very much for any help, I really need it

  • Creating dynamic text for a literal control

    On the ListView1_ItemDataBound of a list view event, i create the literal.text like so... <span style="position:relative"> <span id="term1" class="popup">This is the answer!</span> <a href="javascript:void(0);"onMouseover="ShowPop('term1')" onMouseout="HidePop('term1')">Show me the answer</a></span> The problem is that the text is not rendered as it should. On mousing over the literal control the url is http://localhost:1391/"javascript:void(0);"onMouseover="ShowPop('term1');" So what is going on here? What am i missing?

  • Float over two elements

    My problem is rather complex to explain, so I'll show you an example: http://ewolf.bplaced.de/misc/float.htm I want to have a floated element (the blue box) to be be placed over two other elements (red and green) and I want the whole thing to be fixed-width and centered (done by the box with the black border) while the background of the red and green box should fill the whole width. I'm actually not quite sure if the way I've done it now is XHTML/CSS valid, but it works - at least in Firefox. In IE6, the green box expands to fit the whole blue box - how can I fix this in IE6 or find another solution to show it correctly in all browsers?

  • Is it bad to have the <link> tag for hCard when there is no hCard on that page?

    I'm just wondering if it is bad practice to put the <link> tag for hCard profile on every page, if you don't know that the page being rendered has an hCard. My site has hCards - is it worth trimming the link tag out of the pages that don't have them? <link rel="profile" href="http://microformats.org/profile/hcard"> Does this mean this page has an hCard or look for an hCard on this page? Does it mean interpret an hCard as specified, if found? Obviously, you can pull in stylesheets using <link> but they apply to the page. I don't even see anything at that destination other than some sub-par hCard documentation.

  • main content wrapper div get's pushed down the page in IE

    I have a 2 column layout, with the left side for navigation and the right side for the main content. The right side content has a wrapper div that looks like: Now this looks fine in FF and GC, and it IE but if I change the padding to anything over 4px that section gets pushed down below the left navigation. #content { padding:3px; // 4 makes it get pushed down } Does this mean IE has a different way of calculating the width of all my elements? Is this a common problem that has a solution for it?

I mean here by external page is another web application like for example: http://www.yahoo.com There is the code: $("#externalContent").load("http://www.yahoo.com", function () { alert("loading finish"); }); when I use firebug I got this result: you see here, i highlighted the response code, it's 200 which means OK, but still no content loaded.
