  • Is there an easy way to change iPhone Application Settings from within an application?

    I've got application settings working just fine. However, I'd like to be able to change my app settings from within my app. It seems as though there should be some kind of generic way to add this functionality to my app without having to recreate all the controls myself. I mean, the code is already written in apple's settings app. Maybe someone wrote this code and open sourced it? (if it is not already available)

  • Javascript:history.back is not workin in XUL application

    I have created a XUL application, it has got a link for navigating to previous page. This is my link <a href="javascript:history.back();">Back</a>, unfortunately it is not working!!!     I'm trying to do a couple of things at once. I'm trying to do one major thing: redirect the application output that is displayed in the Qt Creator console to a textEdit that I have on my GUI. However, the class that I need to do this in is written in C and all of its related headers are in C as well. Is there a way that I can redirect the output into the textEdit within the C class?

I want to make some JavaBeans that were instantiated with jsp:useBean tags available to the Java code. What would be a good practice to do that? I suppose I can pass the objects in question to every function call that requires them, but I'd like to avoid that.

  • Heroku + Yii "Application runtime path is not valid"

    I'm trying to deploy a Yii webapp into Heroku but, it keep throwing at me a weird error: Application runtime path "/app/www/protected/runtime" is not valid. Please make sure it is a directory writable by the Web server process. Makes no sense and I know is something to do with Heroku because in my local machine it works fine. Does anyone what does this means? what do I need to do in Heroku ti fix this?? Many thanks.
