  • DDB unknown file

    I have a .ddb file that is used as a telephone directory for an application written in flash/VB.net (i guess). The problem is that the application is crashing and my only was to access the application is through the mysterious (*.ddb) file (99% of the application size.) The application contains an also mysterious dll (NK_SQLite.dll). So far I have tried: SQLite Browser tried opening the file in PL/SQL tried opening the file in SQL Server Any ideas about how to solve this issue,

    I want a user to be able to load a url in their browser, but not get redirected: http://example.com/abc/{var1}/{var2}/def I want the example.com apache 2.2 server to take that request, and "invisibly" and without redirect reverse proxy it to: http://other.example.com/abc/{var1}/{var2}/def I have spent hours trying different combinations of RewriteRule, ProxyPass, ProxyPassMatch, and ProxyPassReverse, all to no avail. Here is my current attempt, which seems to do a redirect to /test instead of an invisible proxy.     I have 2 div's contained in a third. One of the contained div's is floated left, the other floated right. I would like the 2 sibling div's to always be at the same height, but am having a problem with this. So far I am only viewing the page in Firefox, and figured I'd worry about any cross-browser issues after I get it working in at least one browser. I understand I might be going about this the wrong way, and if this is a duplicate questions then I apologize, but I wasn't quite sure what to search under.

  • can some hacker steal the cookie from a user and login with that name on the web site ?

    Reading this question different users get the same cookie value in aspxanonymous and search for a solution, I start thinking, if it is possible for some one to really steal the cookie with some way, and then place it on his browser and login lets say as administrator. Do you know how form authentication can ensure that even if the cookie is stoled, the hacker not actual login using it ? Or do you know any other automatic defense mechanism ? Thank you in advanced.

    I used Netbeans6.7 to write a servlet, when it runs, it opens a browser window with this address : http://localhost:8080/My_App/Test_Servlet, I replaced the "localhost" with my IP address, now it looks like this : http://192.???.1.??:8080/My_App/Test_Servlet, but I tried to access it from another computer outside my home, it can't read anything, I wonder if I need to change Windows Fire Wall setting to allow outside traffic, it's a Paypal IPN app, so I call Paypal, they said they can't access : http://192.???.1.??:8080/My_App/Test_Servlet What on my side should I do to allow traffic from "paypal.com" to access "My_App/Test_Servlet" ?     I have written a crawler in Perl awhile back and it was super simple giving the high-level capability of libwww-perl. It is so straight forward in fact, it can take the raw HTML response of one request, and create the next HTTP request for you from the FORMs on that page (as in it will parse the HTML for you). Does anyone know any library like this on .NET or Java? Selenium is out of question because it requires the browser to be open, which we cannot accommodate in our implementation)

    Does anyone know how to workarounds Heroku's limitations on writing to the theme files for the Typo blogging platform? I'd like to take advantage of the theming capabilities right from the browser. If any theme's stylesheet is changed I get the error message "Unable to write file" in addition to the fact that any theme being changed to one that is not the default causes the page to lose all styling and is displayed in plain text. I followed this (awesome) blog entry to get it up and working.

    We are developing a project for a client that requires a rich text editor that supports both tables and "real" tabs for indentation. Of the editors we've looked at, both TinyMCE and FreeRichTextEditor are very close fits, but indenting with tab seems to only work in WebKit-based browsers. Is there a (preferably free) cross-browser compatible rich text editor that supports both of these features, or a way of 'fixing' tab support in Trident and Mozilla-based browsers?

  • Easiest way to support multiple orientations? How do I load a custom NIB when the application is in

    Hi there, I have an application in which I would like to support multiple orientations. I have two .xib files that I want to use, myViewController.xib and myViewControllerLandscape.xib. myViewController.xib exists in project/Resources and myViewControllerLandscape.xib exists in the root project directory. What I want to do is use a separate NIB (myViewControllerLandscape.xib) for my rotations. I try detecting rotation in viewDidLoad like this: if((self.interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft) || (self.interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight)) { NSLog(@"Landscape detected!"); [self initWithNibName:@"myViewControllerLandscape" bundle:nil]; } But I can see in gdb that this isn't executed when the app is started with the device in landscape. The NSLog message doesn't fire. Why is this? What have I done wrong? Also, if I explicitly put the initWithNibName function call in the viewDidLoad method, that nib is not loaded, and it continues with the myViewController.xib file. What's wrong with my call? Should I specify a bundle? Thanks!

  • Why is my multithreaded Java program not maxing out all my cores on my machine?

    Hi, I have a program that starts up and creates an in-memory data model and then creates a (command-line-specified) number of threads to run several string checking algorithms against an input set and that data model. The work is divided amongst the threads along the input set of strings, and then each thread iterates the same in-memory data model instance (which is never updated again, so there are no synchronization issues). I'm running this on a Windows 2003 64-bit server with 2 quadcore processors, and from looking at Windows task Manager they aren't being maxed-out, (nor are they looking like they are being particularly taxed) when I run with 10 threads. Is this normal behaviour? It appears that 7 threads all complete a similar amount of work in a similar amount of time, so would you recommend running with 7 threads instead? Should I run it with more threads?...Although I assume this could be detrimental as the JVM will do more context switching between the threads. Alternatively, should I run it with fewer threads? Alternatively, what would be the best tool I could use to measure this?...Would a profiling tool help me out here - indeed, is one of the several profilers better at detecting bottlenecks (assuming I have one here) than the rest? Note, the server is also running SQL Server 2005 (this may or may not be relevant), but nothing much is happening on that database when I am running my program. Note also, the threads are only doing string matching, they aren't doing any I/O or database work or anything else they may need to wait on. Thanks in advance, -James

    Hey, Im having a big problem with my app at the moment, its all too inaccurate. I have a image of a ballooon, https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2578642/Balloonedit.png And i have a dart which if it collides into the balloon the game ends. At the moment i am populating the image of the balloon with 8 UIImageViews. and i am detecting if the dart hits them, this was suppose to make it really accurate but its not, the dart pretty much passes through the balloon when its meant to collide, so i have a plan, is there any way to detect when the dart hits the actual image of the balloon not the UIImageView, or is there any way to draw a border around the balloon and detect if it hits that? currently i am using this code to detect the collision: if (CGRectIntersectsRect(pinend.frame, balloonbit1.frame)){ [maintimer invalidate]; accelManeger.delegate = nil; [ball setImage:img]; [UIImageView beginAnimations:nil context:NULL]; [UIImageView setAnimationDuration:0.3]; ball.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeScale(2, 2); [UIImageView commitAnimations]; } So in one method there are 40 of these bits of code and as you can imagine it is not very accurate/fast to respond. So like i said is there a way to draw a border or something around the balloon and detect the collision between the border and dart? Because then i would imagine it would run a lot smother because it would only have to process 5 bits of code. Thanks for any help.
