  • How to link paid app user account to the system ?

    Hi guys, I have an issue related publishing the paid app to android market. (My application is internet connection based app.) If I've put the app to the android market, can user who bought the app pass to anyone ? How is its security (I mean safe of .apk file) ? Also, what is payment tool of android market ? My main point is choosing the best way to link paid user to our system. Actually I don't know how to link paid user account to my system(by email address or device unique id ?... what is better way ?). Can you suggest me on this part ? I really appreciate for help.   • Transfer file using BITS without using IIS on one end?

    I know that I can transfer files using BITS and a wrapper like SharpBITS, but it seems that I need an IIS server on one end - either to upload to or download from. Is there a way to use the BITS protocol to transfer a file without requiring IIS? Some kind of a "BITS Server" or "Listener" project that my client's BITS service can connect to. I'm looking for functionality that's exactly what BITS provides, but I'd prefer not to require that IIS be installed (though if I have to, I can). Thanks!

  • Theme confusion in SpreadsheetML.

    I've been fighting this all day. Inside my styles.xml file I have color information given like so: <fgColor theme="0" tint="-0.249977111117893" / ECMA 376 defines a theme color reference as: Index into the <clrScheme collection, referencing a particular <sysClr or <srgbClr value expressed in the Theme part. Ok, that sounds easy. Here is an excerpt from my clrScheme xml: <a:clrScheme name="Office" <a:dk1 <a:sysClr val="windowText" lastClr="000000" / </a:dk1 <a:lt1 <a:sysClr val="window" lastClr="FFFFFF" / </a:lt1 Index zero is black, and they are wanting to darken it? I can tell you that after the tint is applied, the color should be #F2F2F2. My confusion is what does theme="0" really mean? It can't possible mean to darken #000000. Checking MSDN only confuses me even more. From http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd560821.aspx note that the theme color integer begins counting from left to right in the palette starting with zero. Theme color 3 is the dark 2 text/background color. Actually, if you start counting at zero the third entry is Light 2. Dark 2 is the second one. Can anyone here shed some light on this subject for me? What does theme="0" really mean? Here is the VB6 code I have been working with to apply the tint. You can paste it into your vba editor and run the test sub.     I'm using Python and I'm not trying to extract the value, but rather test to make sure it fits the pattern. allowed values: spam123-spam-eggs-eggs1 spam123-eggs123 spam 123 eggs123 I just can't have a dash at the starting or the end. There is a question on here that works in the opposite direction by getting the string value after the fact, but I simply need to test for the value so that I can disallow it. Also, it can be a maximum of 25 chars long, but a minimum of 4 chars long. Here's what I've come up with after some experimentation with lookbehind, etc: # Nothing here

And if Linq-to-Entities query nests Linq-to-Objects query, then this nested query also gets translated into an expression tree. a) I assume none of the operators of the nested Linq-to-Objects query actually get executed, but instead data provider for particular DB (or perhaps Object Services) knows how to transform the logic of Linq-to-Objects operators into appropriate SQL statements? b) Data provider knows how to create equivalent SQL statements only for some of the Linq-to-Objects operators? c) Similarly, data provider knows how to create equivalent SQL statements only for some of the non-Linq methods in the Net Framework class library? EDIT: I know only some Sql so I can't be completely sure, but reading Sql query generated for the above code it seems data provider didn't actually execute numbers.Max method, but instead just somehow figured out that numbers.Max should return the maximum value and then proceed to include in generated Sql query a call to TSQL's build-in MAX function. It also put all the values held by numbers array into a Sql query.     I'm using the Details View control of VWD asp.net 2008 I have a users database table and one of the columns contain the "unique" user's profile ID, created by VWD from the automatic profiles table. From my table, I would like to select only the data pertaining to the logged in user. How do I get the current unique user profileID and then have that used for the query? What I have so far: In the configure data source option of the control I select the columns I would like to display, select the check box for "Return Only Unique IDs" and the WHERE option. In this new window I select the Column to the profile userID ... "=" and then assumed I should select Source: "Profile". Now what should the parameter properties or value be to select only the logged userID specific data of the table? Any help is appreciated. Thank You!

  • Installed Ubuntu 14.04LTS

    On my laptop which came pre-installed with Windows 8.1. Felt I needed to see the competition for myself to establish which was a better OS. So I followed the channels to dual boot. All seemed fine and I accessed Ubuntu with no issues after selecting this from the menu to select the OS. I should add that the boot method was changed to legacy. However, since using Ubuntu, I no longer have the ability to select the OS. The laptop simply logs straight into Ubuntu. I therefore attempted to access the recovery options, only it appears the Windows 8 bootloader has somehow been corrupted as I am now told to use the Windows 8 recovery disc (which, as this was pre-installed - I do not have). Left with no other alternative, I have scoured these forums without success, and so I am hoping someone in the know (or who has experienced similar) can help. I have tried boot repair again without success. On rebooting I am only presented with a basic splash screen asking me to select Ubuntu, Memtest, Windows 8 Recovery or Windows 8 Bootloader (The bootloaders again require I insert the disc). However, if I'm to try using Ubuntu again then there is the risk this problem may come back. Again, I did not do anything manually - the installer did everything (with the exception of changing the boot to Legacy to allow the booting of another bootloader). LiveCD works but doesn't give me the options that I've seen here and as mentioned earlier, only boot recovery only gives me the options as mentioned earlier. Also this fails to load via USB (possibly because HDD comes before USB in the boot order?). Being used to a Windows environment, the Ubuntu (and Linux) environment is a dive at a less than comfortable depth at present (but one I fully intend to get to grips with - especially the commands being more common via Terminal). I very much appreciate the help with this guys.

    There's only room for three lines of text in the interface, but the content is external and variable, and if it ends up taking up more than three lines, there needs to be some sort of 'view all' button functionality. I can kind of think about what that function needs to look like, but I'm not quite sure what the best way to do it in AS3 would be. It returns No of users connected to _User & according that there info gets. If user login successfully using fb connect, Facebook gives us uid. However, I need to match the logged in user with our member's account If that member is not present in DB then want to register him and I'm trying to do that with e-mail(hashed) address and other info.

Say I have the following tables in my database: Users: - UserID (PK, Identity) - UserName - Password UsersDetails: - UserID (PK, FK) - FirstName - LastName I have created the following poco classes: public class User { public virtual int UserID { get; set; } public virtual string UserName { get; set; } public virtual string Password { get; set; } public virtual UserDetails Details { get; set; } } public class UserDetails { public virtual int UserID { get; set; } public virtual User User { get; set; } public virtual string FirstName { get; set; } public virtual string LastName { get; set; } public UserDetails() { } public UserDetails(User user) { User = user; } } Which are fluently mapped (please note the xml mapping is very similar and if all you know is the xml mapping then I would still appreciate you guidance): public class UserMap : ClassMap<User> { public UserMap() { Table("Users"); Id(x => x.UserID); Map(x => x.UserName); Map(x => x.Password); HasOne(x => x.Details) .Constrained() .Cascade.All(); } } public class UserDetailsMap : ClassMap<UserDetails> { public UserDetailsMap() { Table("UsersDetails"); Id(x => x.UserID) .GeneratedBy.Foreign("User"); HasOne(x => x.User) .Constrained(); Map(x => x.FirstName); Map(x => x.LastName); } } Everything displays correctly but if I say: var user = new User() { UserName = "Test", Password = "Test" }; user.Details = new UserDetails(user) { FirstName = "Test", LastName = "Test" }; session.Save(user); I get the error: "NHibernate.Id.IdentifierGenerationException: null id generated for: UserDetails." "@john, hello" "@john(hello)" I am tokenizing the string to get every word separated by a space: [myString componentsSeparatedByString:@" "]; My array of tokens now contain: @john... @john, @john(hello) For these cases. How can I make sure only @john is tokenized, while retaining the trailing characters: ... , (hello) Note: I would like to be able to handle all cases of characters at the end of a string. The above are just 3 examples.

  • In Android, how can i allow the user to choose a color between 4 ?

    I'm making an Android App, and i need to put a control that let user choose between 4 different colors. I want to do this with something like radio buttons: the problem is that radiobuttons are round... is there a way to set them looks like square/rect buttons, and assign a color to their inside rect area ? If not, how can i achieve that choose for the user ? I need this because i'm making a Todo/Task android application, and i need the user to choose the priority of a task, between for priority level that are rapresented with a color. So i think to do that by showing 4 buttons, each with a different color associated, and a text inside ("0", "1", "2", "3") Thanks!

  • How can I find out which user deleted a directory?

    My Ubuntu server has about roughly 30 active users on it. I personally know everyone using the server. Recently, a few friends and I were working on project. We made a new directory for the project and since everyone knows everyone we didn't bother protecting our work under a bunch of permissions. We should have though, because we woke up this morning to find that someone removed our entire directory. Our work is backed up every night so it's really not a big deal to restore our work. However, we would like to find out who removed it so we can confront them. So far the best thing we've come up with for finding our culprit is checking everyone's bash history but this is long and tedious and chances are that if there was a malicious intent behind the directory removal that our culprit probably modified theirs to cover their tracks (or of course they might use a different shell). So, basically, what is the easiest and quickest way to find out who deleted a directory? Thanks in advance for your time.

  • Multiple Users Sharing Email Accounts - How to make messages "unread" for each user?

    Sorry if this isn't appropriate for webmasters stackexchange, but i'm not sure where it would go since it has to do with the logistics of setting up a website/email for a small company. I have an ecommerce store with multiple addresses such as: - [email protected] - [email protected] I'm not the only person managing the store. My partner and I both have those email accounts set up on each of our respective computers (right now it's using IMAP - he's on outlook and i'm on thunderbird). We have one major problem with this setup - If I read an email before he does, he doesn't know it ever arrived because the IMAP tells the server that the email has been "read". Of course, the same problem exists if he reads an email before I do. I understand that i can fix this problem by switching to POP3 and leaving the messages on the server. I'm okay with that... but it creates a NEW PROBLEM. If he replies to an email, it is no longer sync'd back to the server and therefore I can't read any emails that he has sent out. Same problem vice versa. This is also important for us because we want to know if one of us has already replied to an email so that the same thing isn't being done twice. With IMAP, all our sent emails are put in the Sent folder and synced to the server. What's a good way to set this up for a small company where email sharing is involved? My website is hosted on arvixe business ASP...
