  • Do experienced developers use Wordpress? [closed]

    I understand Wordpress is great and it helps people to build amazing websites without knowing the complexities of writing code. But I spent good amount of time understanding the wordpress, but i feel I have to learn the whole structure of it to start the project. I feel like I should just write the code from scratch. What would be your suggestion on this? btw, i am planning to develop a website with about 10 pages for a client. Thanks.

    So I downloaded eclipse earlier today so I can start to learn the Android SDK. I typically write java programs with vim from the command line but I was having trouble making the sdk work from the command line. Anyways Eclipse was begin weird so I uninstalled it with Synaptic, then I reinstalled. Now it seems to be working fine except I can't get eclipse to show up in the launcher... Is there anything I may be missing that would make the launcher show up?

    I have a website that uses AjaxControlToolkit.dll and Log4Net.dll; When I try to run the performance profiling tool in VS 2010 on it it gives me the following warnings "AjaxControlToolkit.dll is signed and instrumenting it will invalidate its signature. If you proceed without a post-instrument event to re-sign the binary it may not load correctly". Now, if I choose the option to continue without re-signing the profiling starts but the assembly doesn't load and gives an ASP.NET exception.

    I have encountered an unusual difference in the way that the .Net client for Azure and the direct REST API bring back streams of binary data. If I use the CloundBlob.DownloadToStream() vs. getting the response stream from the HTTP response, I get streams with the same length, but different content. Specifically the REST response seems to 0 out a series of bytes. I've discovered this issue because I'm trying to use the byte range feature for blobs which is currently not supported in the .Net client (if I'm wrong on this point and someone can point at where I can do this it might make the rest of this question irrelevant).
