  • Accelerometer & Calibration - iPhone SDK

    Hello everyone, I need to use the functionality of an accelerometer in my iphone game. I just have to move an image by tilting the device. However most videos on youtube just show the tilt feature that is somehow inverted and forget to include the calibration. I want the user to calibrate their device to whatever position they're in. Does anyone know how I should get started on this? Your help is greatly appreciated, Kevin

    Hello, I'm wondering how, in JCAPS 6, we can create new eWays. By eWay, I mean the components like the existing HL7, JMS, File, eMails (ie, external applications) ... I am not sure about the exact name of these entites, "API oriented OTD", JBI, JCA. Basically, I would like to create an object that: - is part of the Connectivity Map - has properties (which can be overwritten in Glassfish) - can cooperate dynamically with my Collaborations (JCDs) Does anyone know how to create such objects?   • GIT Exclude Specific Files when Pushing to Specific Repository

    Is it possible to exclude specific files (*.ai, *.psd) when pushing to certain repositories with GIT? My need comes from trying to use GIT for both version control and deployment to Heroku. If I include my graphic assets in the deploy, they slug size is larger than desired. However, I do need to include all project files in my main github repository. Thanks, Kevin

    Hey there everyone, So I'm used to the iPhone API, and I used MBProgressHUD a lot in my iPhone applications, but since I started developing apps for the Mac I noticed that I can't use MBProgressHUD. Is there an alternative that will do the same job as the MBProgressHUD? I notice that apple has it in their OS as well.   • How to get a reference to a control in the view?

    If I have a UIScrollView set up in the view via the Interface Builder, how do I get a reference to it in the ViewController implementation? I want to programmatically add labels to the scroll view. For example, in C# if you have a textbox declared in the UI/form, you can access it by simply using the ID declared for that textbox. It doesn't seem this simple in objective c. Thanks Kevin

The user also needs to be able to remove the data from the document.   • Copy Network Volume configuration among Linux systems

    I have several standalone Debian Linux (Lenny) systems. As it stands now, all of the systems are configured with a generic login account. This login account has a network volume that connects to a Windows share on a Windows server. I need to create a batch of user accounts on all of the systems (this part I figured out). After I create all of the user accounts, I need all of them to have the same network volume mapping as the current generic account. Is the network volume configuration saved somewhere, where I could copy that configuration across all of the user accounts?

  • Detect fails in setup script

    I wrote a setup script to install my prefered programs and settings after I got a new server. apt-get install git git clone http://[email protected] .vim ln -s .vimrc .vim/vimrc ... But if something wrong happens during setup, how can I interrupt the setup script, and log the error(s)? For example, if github server is down, it's obviously useless to create a symbolic link to non-existed vimrc. (or you have a better approach to initialize a server?)

  • Failed to re-publish a page - Tridion 2011 SP1

    We are getting some strange error when re-publishing the same page. The page was published successfully the first time and we can see the page from presentation server. It failed with the following error (see below) when we tried to publish it again (no change to page). The page ran OK within template builder and we got the correct html output, it failed in the last committing deployment step (Prepare Transport, Transporting, Preparing Deployment and Deploying are all successful). Once it fails to publish the second time, it always fails to publish, and we can't un-publish it either. Also when we make a copy of the failed page and create a new page, we can publish the new page first time, the new page then fails to publush the second time with the same error. Does anyone know what would cause this error? any help would be greatly appreciated.   • the kvm's terminal works weirdly

    I connect to a remote machine from the local machine and use virsh console to enter the virtual machine. I don't know how to exactly depict how it works. Normally it works well, but when I run VIM: Then it can't be recovered unless I cut the connection up: It's very hard to work with a broken terminal. Any advice? My terminal works well on my local machine and the remote machine in which the virtual machine runs.

For convenience I give a KVM virtual machine root permission to each user. But obviously the linux server has only one IP. How can I deliver the external requests to corresponding virtual machine? (I expect it's somewhat complicated. If so I want at least some docs/websites I can start reading.)
