Javascript to change image form submit button src not working.

I'm trying to change the src of an image form submit button using an onclick, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly. Am I missing something? <input class="submit_image" id="my_form_button" onclick="$('my_form_button').src='/images/buttons/submitting.gif'" src="/images/buttons/submit.gif" type="image" /> I've also tried using the same JS on the form tag using onsubmit with no luck.

Simple form not working anymore, since adding jquery tablesorter on same page

Hi, I'm using jquery and tablesorter plugin to sort a table in a php-page, which works flawless. Further I have this form in it: <form name="newrs" id="newrs" action="edit.php" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="POST" onSubmit=""> <input class="btn" id="bbtnNew" name="button" type="submit" value="New Recordset" /> </form> But since I added the jquery/tablesorter functionality, the form doesn't work anymore. simple web parts in asp.net show as blank page

I am not sure what parameters come into the function. Hi I am using Ajaxy Call to load the partial view. It is working fine in Firefox and IE without in Debug Mode. Bypassing Javascript form handler

We are writing an ASP.NET MVC application. By default, if the client browser has Javascript, the handler for every form on the page is set, by Javascript, to be one that sends the submission down an Ajax "pipe" (progressive enhancement). But, for one form (on a page of several), I'd like this handler to be bypassed/ignored. Is there a simple way to do this? Perhaps by overriding the handler by specifying my own onsubmit event directly in the DOM - or some other method? We use jQuery, so those libraries are available to me.

There are about 50 fields in the form that should be considered 'digit' fields where they shouldn't be anything less than 0. What should I change with this Javascript to ensure that all 'digit' like fields have this alert box pop up? I cannot use jquery/mootools for validation - it has to be flat Javascript. Thanks.

I have a Page with a Wizard component. The user can navigate the panels of the wizard by using the next and previous buttons which I have performing full (non-ajax) form submissions so that the app is back-button friendly. When the next button is clicked, I would like to attempt ajax form validation (if javascript is enabled). I tried doing: nextButton.add( new AjaxFormValidatingBehavior( form, "onsubmit") ); to add such validation. The behaviour works - however, when validation errors occur the browser still submits the entire form. What is the Wicket way to prevent the browser from submitting the form in this case?

I am looking for a list of all JavaScript event handlers (such as onLoad, onSubmit ect...) and the corresponding html tags that they can be applied to. This is is the best document I have found so far, but I believe it is is incomplete. The W3 specs are even worse, all it says is "This attribute may be used with most elements.". All browsers have their own quarks, if you know of a document for a specific browser like Firefox or IE that would also be helpful.

Debugging HTML & JavaScript with Firebug

I made a JSONP widget. However, when one of the partner sites put it in their page, (1) it doesn't render at all in IE and (2) in other browsers (Firefox & Google Chrome), the HTML of the widget renders incorrectly: the <aside> closes prematurely, before the Financial Aid Glossary. It's something specific to that page because it works fine on this example college resource center page. To fix these two issues, I tried saving the page source to a local file and messing around with the local file and with Firebug, deleting DOM elements and stuff. I even tried fixing the errors that The W3C Markup Validation Service found. But, I still couldn't get it to render correctly. How should I tell them to change their page so that the widget renders correctly? Or, how should I update the widget script I wrote? Debian, Apache2, CGI: paths issue

I have a perl form email script on the servers cgi-bin directory ( /usr/lib/cgi-bin ). /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride None Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch AddHandler cgi-script cgi pl Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> The issue is with paths. html calls script here: <form name="Request" method="post" action="http://server-test.local/cgi-bin/formprocessorpro.pl" onsubmit="return checkWholeForm49874(this)"> The directory with the templates and configs is passed here: <input type="hidden" name="base_path" value="../contact" /> The path to this form is: http://server-test.local/formstest/contact.htm No matter what variation I try for the base_path I get an error from the formprocessor script that it can't find the directory: An error occurred when opening the Form Configuration File (../contact/form.cfg): No such file or directory. I need to move this script from an old server, configured by a previous sysadmin, to a new server. Since cgi-bin is automatically linked to /usr/lib/cgi-bin and linked such that the script resides: http://server-test.local/cgi-bin/formprocessorpro.pl I would imagine that, given that the templates are in the webroot in a directory called contact, the correct path would be: ../contact Any ideas? How can I detect if 2 elements (html fragments) have the same structure simply with lxml? jQuery Autocomplete - Multicolumn and Return Data rather than Value

I am currently using the DevBridge jQuery Autocomplete plugin - it works fine as is, however I would like to display the returned information in a multi-column view, but yet when clicked only return the first value. REFERENCEID | POSTCODE | ADDRESS_LINE_1 | SURNAME I would have liked to wrap the whole return up as a <table> but I can't figure out where to put the start <table> and end </table> tags, or do I just replace | with </div><div>. Then, when an item is selected, instead of returning REFERENCEID | POSTCODE | ADDRESS_LINE_1 | SURNAME I would just like to see REFERENCEID
