  • Internet doesn't work when enable local network

    We have the following network setup: A) Router IP 192.168.51.49 B) Windows Server 2008 R2 with dual NIC: Lan A) WAN interface (192.168.51.50) ( Used for internet) Lan B) LAN interface (192.168.30.228) ( used for local connectivity ) When I keep both LAN Enabled than my internet doesn't work, but if I disable my local LAN then internet works fine. How can I resolve this issue?   • connecting to bsnl wll, with huawei fixed wireless modem with connected to usb port on linux mint.

    On windows, when I plugged in the usb connector, to the device was recognized as a mass storage device and installed all the drivers, to my computer, then the device, automatically restarted and started behaving like a modem, I'm writing this post, using the same modem, through windows... On linux mint (debian kernel, similar to ubuntu 8.10), the device is recognized as a mass storage device, some times, but, has no programs, useful for linux... When I use the modem on windows and restart the computer and login to linux, the device shows up as "not yet configured" in the terminal command "lsusb"... I googled a lot for solutions, tried many things, atlast, configured it and run the command "wvdial". But, get the error, that the modem is not responding, at last ! :'( Please help me out... Many more people are facing this problem, as I could discover, when I googled for it. this is the website address of huawei, the company of my modem...     I am using wpa_supplicant-0.7.3 and WL12xx TI Driver(WiFi) . Looking into both code,I seen that both support passive scan . Also, nl80211 driver is used (not wext). I am not able to find any command for passive scan in wpa_cli . With iw , for passive scan we can use : iw dev wlan0 scan passive Similar I want to do passive scan using wpa_supplicant . So need help to know how to do passive scan using wpa_supplicant?

  • Windows 7 freezes on connecting second time to same wifi network

    I am using Lenovo - y470, which comes with windows 7 home premium. I can connect to my wifi network and there is no issue in that. But the problem comes if the network get disconnected and i again try to connect to same wifi network. As soon as i click on connect my system freezes, and i can not even press ctrl+ alt+ del . The only think i am allowed to do at that time is press and hold power button to shut down the system and restart it again. Please tell me how to resolve this issue. Please let me know if some more information is required. OS: Windows 7 Router: Netgear n-150

    I have ubuntu 12.04 installed on my system. I want to upgrade it to ubuntu 13.04. I want to do this upgrade using an iso image of ubuntu 13.04. I tried this Solution But it didn't work for me. After running these command I didn't get any alerts about updating. Also I don't understand the gksu part of the solution.     I have cpu with Pentium 4 3GHz processor. My motherboard is Intel 82865. I have installed the graphic driver for intel 82865 by using the graphic driver of Windows XP and changing the program's compatibility to Windows XP SP2. I got many thing ok with that. For example many resolutions and I can also play GTA. But what I want to know is why I cant view Aero and transparency effect in windows 7. It says contact the manufacturer for compbatible WDDM graphic driver.

    1TB WD harddisk is detected in laptop but drives not visible on my computer. Under disk managment drives shown without letters. Right clicking on these drives give 2 options: Delete volume Help. The same harddisk was running well on the same laptop a day before. It is also showing full size of hard drives, Healthy (Primary Partition) etc. (this happened after harddisk usage by guest). Harddisk is new only (about 5 month usage) Please suggest: Is there hardware related problem inside harddisk, if so is it repairable? Is there any option to recover data?

  • Sound feels to come from far in my headphones [closed]

    I bought new headphones just yesterday. The strange thing is when I hear sound from my headphone I feel like it is coming from far away. Main problem comes in games, when I hear the footsteps of enemies and think he is on the other side of the wall while he is near to me. :D I also heard virtual haircut on youtube . I tried this with my new headphones and HTC desire S earphones. In case of HTC earphones I felt that scissors and electric razor( @ 3:04 ) is too much near to my ear but in case of the headphones I didn't felt such thing. I felt electric razor is almost 6 inches away from my ear. Have you ever encountered such problem? What can I do in this case?

    Hi Forum, We are developing a game application for Blackberry, which will have multi player option to let two or more player compete against each other. We have implemented the logic for that and already two or more player are able to play the game simultaneously on single device. Now we want to upgrade our application so that two or more user can compete each other playing from different device and different locations. Can anyone please help me by providing me the way (or code) to achieve this (communicating two blackberry devices over the air to access single session programmaticaly)? I found the code to connect two device using Bluetooth but as the player may situated in different geographic regions we need to achieve this using over the air connection. Thanks in advance.   • Google appengine authentication on iPhone web app on the home screen

    I'm using Google appengine for developing an web application that is meant to be used on both the browser and iphone. I have purchased a domain name for this application, so that I have a pretty URL. I've used the User API for authentication. This works just fine on desktop browsers and iPhone Safari. The user could add the application to the home screen (by tapping the "+" at the bottom toolbar). However when that's done, it seems like the cookies set by Google are not in affect within this "application", and the user is effectively logged out. To make matters worse, when the user clicks on the login link (as generated by GAE), the app closes and opens safari to complete the login. Since the session is apparently not shared between the two, the login process is futile, and the "home-screen" version of the app continues to be logged out. It seems that the cookies are not shared between a "home-screen" app and Safari. It also seems that the "home-screen" app will only work within it's own domain, and any redirect to any other domain will open Safari. Any idea how I can go about fixing this?

  • CakePHP session sharing between two apps, on the same domain

    I am having two cakephp application working on the same domain. I access them like localhost:8080/wishlist & localhost:8080/lighthouse The wishlist is a separate cakePHP application and the lighthouse is a separate CakePHP application. The login page is at localhost:8080/lighthouse, now i want the session generated by the lighthouse application to be used in the wishlist application. The directory structure is /htdocs /wishlist /app /config .... /lighthouse /app /config .... I have edited the core.php file for both the application. I am using the same session cookie name and the same security sale but i am not able to get the session on the wishlist application. Can some one let me know how can i share session in between my two application.

    I recently read an article about duck-typing.It said about calling functions of different classes using object of any class. Is it true?And how will the compiler do it on runtime? I apologize if i am not clear.But it really fascinates me , if we could do it dynamically. So if u people got any idea.I am all ears. thank you!! how will the function be accessed by object of any other class. that violates the basic principle of OOP.and that too dynamically during runtime. And is this feature possible in case of OOP languages?

  • Blackberry Development, adding dynamic number of buttons and setting Fieldchangelistener() for them

    Hi, I am adding dynamic number of buttons in a Blackberry application and trying to get different events on each button click. I am not able to apply the setchangelistener() for these array of buttons as once the loop finishes after adding all the buttons, the events gets generated only for the last indexed button. If I make us of getIndex(), it runs fine only if I am not adding any other fields on my screen, but if I add other fields along with these array of buttons, the getIndex() function count them in the indexing as well. Can anyone please help me out in setting FieldChangeListener to array of ButtonField? Here is a sample code of the way I am using the array of ButtonField.
