  • How can i link a oracle user to a business objects user

    I have a problem with linking the oracle user to a business objects user. I will try to explain it as detailed as possible; I have a Oracle database (10g) where a couple of users are defined. These users can query on information with application X. Those records will then be written into the oracle database. The records that is written into the database has a ID that links to the person that has run the query. I also have a active directory in wich a couple of users are made; testuser1, testuser2. When those users log on, and want to load a report in Business Objects XI i want them to see the information that was created when the report was activated by that same user that had runned the query before with application X. The name of the person in the active directory and the name in the oracle database are not the same but i dont think that would be a problem in this stage. So the steps i took: First, i run a report in application X (with a account prodpim_rs) wich fills my Oracle database with a record. The second step is logging on as testuser1 (from the AD) and then login on Business Objects XI with the account. Now i want to load a report with the information in my Oracle database. So the prodpim_rs user and the testuser must have a link between them. I am wondering how to forfill this. Can i link the account, wich is made in a Oracle database, with the user of BO wich is linked to my AD? Thank you in advance for your reply Robert

  • MSVC 2008 - Unresolved External errors with LIB but only with DLL, not with EXE project

    I have a DLL that I am trying to link with a libjpeg LIB using MSVC 2008 that is generating Unresolved External Symbol errors for the libjpeg functions. I also have a test project that links with the exact same libjpeg library file and links without error and runs fine too. I have triple-checked my LIB path and dependent LIBS list settings and literally copy and pasted them from the EXE project to the DLL project. I still get the errors. I do have the libjpeg include headers surrounded by extern "C" so it is not a name mangling issue and the unresolved external warnings show the "missing" libjpeg functions as undecorated (just a leading underscore and the @ sign parameter byte count suffix after each name). What could make the linker with the DLL project be unable to find the functions properly when the test EXE project has no trouble at all? I'm using the pre-compiled 32-bit static multi-threaded debug library which I downloaded from ClanLib. Thanks, Robert

  • How can I scrape the current webpage with php/javascript?

    I have made the following webpage for generating interactive todo lists: http://robert-kent.com/todo/todo.php Basically, the user pastes a numbered todo list and each task is placed into it's own div with a unique id. Users can add notes to the tasks (done with javascript) and can click the green check when the task is done to hide it. I'd like to add an Export button which would generate a report of which tasks were completed and which were not, along with the user-entered notes. After a bit of searching I understand that what I want to do is scrape the page, but I haven't the faintest idea of the best way to do it. Many of the articles and tutorials I have found with Google involve scraping other sites and don't really explain how I could iterate over each div on the page. So far, I've done the following: Create a new project; an iPhone OS window based app. Go to target info- under packaging, change the wrapper extension from app to framework Go to Action-new build phase - copy headers. Change roles of headers to 'public' From my application, I add the framework to the frameworks group.

  • [Java] Cut <br/>-Tags from String end

    Hello everybody, I am currently developing a Web-Application using Java EE where I'm using a Rich-Javascript-Editor (http://www.primefaces.org/showcase/ui/editor.jsf). As the user can easily add too many linebreaks that will be convertet to linebreak-tags, I need to remove all these Tags from the end of a String. Is there an elegant way of using Regex to accomplish this? An example String would be: "This is a test <b>bold</b><br/><br/>" Where obviously the last two tags have to be removed.   • IPv6 routing to another interface

    I'm trying to get an IPv6 enabled router to forward data from one interface to the other and I'm having issues. When following this example (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk872/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080ba6106.shtml) I am able to get full connectivity between all 3 routers in my simulator. However when I try to use only 1 router; I can't get connectivity to the other interfacs on the same router. My PC is directly attached to FA 0/1 and it can ping the router's interface. However it can not ping any other interface on the router(which unless I'm missing something it should be able to do). The router on the other hand can ping everything. I thought static routes might help; but the router already has routes for everything. I'm thinking the packet should come in; router looks up the destination in it's ipv6 routing table and then realizes it's for itself, and should respond. I thought maybe it couldn't respond directly; so I tried pinging a device like 2001:0000:0000:1000::2, but i don't get a response. I'm running on IOS 12.4. I'm missing something(hopefully simple), but I just can't see what it is. With only 1 router; how do I enable my PC to talk to the other subnets?   • JEditorPane scrolling to the current caret position

    I have a JEditorPane which I use to display an HTML document. the document has hyperlinks embedded in it. When a user clicks on a bookmark a position the caret to the associated place in the JeditorPane. The JeditorPane is then suppose to scroll to this position. This works mostly. But, I noticed that if the document has a lot of "break tags" (BR) tags embedded in it, the scrolling does not position the JEditorPane to right place. It's like the tags throw the callebration off. Any suggestions on what to do about this?

    I have the code below, which works fine it can be viewed here for an example. Once the user hovers over one menu, you can then not hover over it again unless the page is refreshed.   • jquery 'this' confusion

    Hi I have the code below, once the first (only) item in the menu is hovered over, the subtext should appear. I have used 'this' as I thought it should find the class with the "li" and then slideDown.   • jquery slideDown menu

    Hi, I have a link which once hovered over a box below slides down, once hover is removed it slides back up. I have it working almost to how I want, although in IE8 (Havent tested in other IE yet) the text in the box which slides down is not centerd. In firefox, when it slides down the corners are not smooth, but they are in IE.     I'm running the following statement to see what queries are executing in sql server: select * from sys.dm_exec_requests r cross apply sys.dm_exec_sql_text(r.sql_handle) where r.database_id = DB_ID('<dbname>') The sql text that comes back is parameterized: (@Parm0 int) select * from foo where foo_id = @Parm0 Is there any way to get the values for the parameters that the statement is using? Say by joining to another table perhaps?

  • What is the best way to extend restful_authentication/AuthLogic to support lazy logins by an anonymo

    I'm building an iPhone application that talks to a Ruby on Rails backend. The Ruby on Rails application will also service web users. The restful_authentication plugin is an excellent way to provide quick and customizable user authentication. However, I would like users of the iPhone application to have an account created automatically by the phone's unique identifier ([[UIDevice device] uniqueIdentifier]) stored in a new column. Later, when users are ready to create a username/password, the account will be updated to contain the username and password, leaving the iPhone unique identifier intact. Users should not be able to access the website until they've setup their username/password. They can however, use the iPhone application, since the application can authenticate itself using it's identifier. What is the best way to modify restful_authentication to do this? Create a plugin? Or modify the generated code? What about alternative frameworks, such as AuthLogic. What is the best way to allow iPhones to get a generated auth token locked to their UUID's, but then let the user create a username/password later?

    I am using the p tag to align text left and right on the same line using: .left { float: left; text-indent: 5px; margin-top: 0px; } .right { float: right; text-indent: 5px; margin-top: 0px; } <div id="content"> <p class="left">Left Text </p> <p class="right">Right Text </p> </div> The left text will indent by 5 pixels, the right text will not. I have tried -5px and just 5px, any ideas how I could do this? Thanks

    Hi, I have a page in which users can make "posts" its similar to facebook, I am trying to figure out how I can get it to run the php loop say every 10mins, in order for the person to see new posts. Everytime a post is made it is added into the db and then the page is refreshed, I want to do it more "facebook like".   • When to draw/layout child controls in UserControl

    I have a list-type UserControl (like a ListBox). The items inside the control are another complex UserControl containing a few other controls (ComboBox, TextBox, etc). I'm wondering what the preferred or best method would be to override to draw/layout the child controls. I basically want to trigger this method any time the list changes. I originally had a RedrawItems method that I just called whenever I needed to redraw which added or removed Controls from the Controls collection. But it was getting triggered too early in the lifecycle of the code from some of the designer code. Now I've switched to overriding OnLayout and doing my stuff there. I call PerformLayout when I want to trigger a redraw, such as when the DataSource property changes or when it fires a changed event. Is OnLayout the best place for this?   • Keeping floated divs inline

    I'm having trouble getting my layout working correctly, I have a main div and a sidebar div these are both float: left if the screen size is resized or if its viewed on screen smaller that what I have designed on (1920x1080) then the sidebar div drops below the main content.
