    Hi, I'm hoping that someone will explain to me what preferred access point name refers to in the android system , and what is it's role . Also I'd like to know if by messing with all APN (adding a suffix to the "apn" and "type" fields to disable 3G/EDGE/GPRS connections , and the deleting this suffix ) , the preferred APN can be disrupted. Also if it need special settings in case an APN manipulation is desired.

    is there any local file manipulation that's been done with javascript? i'm looking for a solution that can be accomplished with no install footprint like requiring AIR. specifically, i'd like to read the contents from a file and write those contents to another file. at this point i'm not worried about gaining permissions, just assuming i already have full permissions to these files.

More or less I want to build a quick import script that will grab the following: 1) Username 2) Type (Model / Photographer) 3) Age 4) Sex 5) City, State, Zip 6) Email 7) Photos I will then take all of this data and add it to join form / push the photos through a manipulation script.     In C++ I would just take a pointer (or reference) to arr[idx]. In Scala I find myself creating this class to emulate a pointer semantic. class SetTo (val arr : Array[Double], val idx : Int) { def apply (d : Double) { arr(idx) = d } } Isn't there a simpler way? Doesn't Array class have a method to return some kind of reference to a particular field?

  • How can I change the color of build output in a shell window?

    I have a build process which runs from a batch file. It produces a large volume of text. Sometimes it prints the word "Error" or "Warning" followed by a message. The errors and warnings are getting lost among a sea of text. Can I highlight those words in a different color, maybe in a dos window, or a cygwin shell window, possibly by piping them through some string manipulation program before posting them to the screen? I don't want to go for conventional marshalling and unmarshalling as it involves the parsing of the whole XML. How is XPath/XSLT manipulation? The problem is, in another method in my implementation file, I can't seem to acces the _imgArray array. It traces out to _imgArray= ar.lproj What gives?

    Got a problem, I have an an array of objects inside a constructor of a class. I'm trying to use the array to relate to a property in the object but I can't relate to them. lessonObjectsArray(0) = lessonObject1 lessonObjectsArray(1) = lessonObject2 lessonObjectsArray(2) = lessonObject3 the properties of the object "lessonObject1" are lessonName, videoLink, pdfLink I thought it would be tbTest.text = lessonObjectsArray(0).lessonObject1.lessonName just doesnt work

    When I learned Java, I was told that the arraylist works this way: It creates an array with room for 10 elements. When the 11th element is added, it is created a new list with room for 20 elements, and the 10 elements are copied into the new array. This will repeat as until there are no more elements to add, or to a maximum size. Is the List in .NET constructed the same way?
