Exporting info from PS script to csv

Hi, This is a powershell/AD/Exchange question.... I'm running a script against a number of Users to check some of their attributes however I'm having trouble getting this to output to CSV. The script runs well and does exactly what I need it to do, the output on screen is fine, I'm just having trouble getting it to directly export to csv. The input is a comma seperated txt file of usernames (eg "username1,username2,username3") I've experimented with creating custom ps objects, adding to them and then exporting those but its not working.... Any suggestions gratefully received.. Hey, I'm very new to linq and lamba expressions. I'm trying to walk a collection, and when I find an item that meets some criteria I'd like to add that to another separate collection. My linq to walk the collection looks like this (this works fine): From i as MyCustomItem In MyCustomItemCollection Where i.Type = "SomeType" Select i I need each of the select items to then be added to a ListItemCollection, I know I can assign that linq query to a variable, and then do a for each loop adding a new ListItem to the collection, but I'm trying o find a way to add each item to the new ListItemcollection while walking, not a second loop. JPA optimistic lock - setting @Version to entity class cause query to include VERSION as column

I'm using JPA Toplink Essential, Netbean6.8, GlassFish v3 In my Entity class I added @Version annotation to enable optimistic locking at transaction commit however after I added the annotation, my query started including VERSION as column thus throwing SQL exception. None of this is mentioned in any tutorial I've seen so far. What could be wrong? I'm refactoring a colleague's code, and I have several cases where he's using a cursor to get "the latest row that matches some predicate": His technique is to write the join as a cursor, order it by the date field descending, open the cursor, get the first row, and close the cursor. This requires calling a cursor for each row of the result set that drives this, which is costly for many rows. I'd prefer to be able to join, but what something cheaper than a correlated subquery: select a.id_shared_by_several_rows, a.foo from audit_trail a where a.entry_date = (select max(a.entry_date) from audit_trail b where b.id_shared_by_several_rows = a.id_shared_by_several_rows ); I'm guessing that since this is a common need, there's an Oracle analytic function that does this?

Using one sqlconnection/sqlcommand through 2 DB-bound methods

I have a class with a method which gets data from a database through a SELECT stored proc. This method uses a SqlDbReader by returning ExecuteReader() on a SqlCommand. The connection and everything is made in this method, with fields (such as connection string) set as class level fields. I now need to populate an array based on the results of this query (so the columns of each row will go into the array with its own index). However, this query will not select all of the data from one table which is involved. I can write the queries to get what I need, but how can I use one connection throughout the class? If I instantiate the connection object and call Open() in the constructor, I get an exception @ runtime. I'm hoping for something like this: // At class level: sqlconn.Open(); // sqlcommand set up Method() { // Fire stored proc // Insert results in a collection } Method2() { // Pass same collection in (use same one), // Add new row columns into same collection } How can I do this with strict performance in mind? Hi All I have problem while converting varchar type to Int type in Informix. Actually I dont know if the value is really varchar or not which I want to convert to INT. Its a sandbox system. SSMS Results to Grid - CRLF not preserved in copy/paste - any better techniques?

When I have a result set in the grid like: SELECT 'line 1 line 2 line 3' or SELECT 'line 1' + CHAR(13) + CHAR(10) + 'line 2' + CHAR(13) + CHAR(10) + 'line 3' With embedded CRLF, the display in the grid appears to replace them with spaces (I guess so that they will display all the data). The problem is that if I am code-generating a script, I cannot simply cut and paste this. I have to convert the code to open a cursor and print the relevant columns so that I can copy and paste them from the text results. Is there any simpler workaround to preserve the CRLF in a copy/paste operation from the results grid? The reason that the grid is helpful is that I am currently generating a number of scripts for the same object in different columns - a bcp out in one column, an xml format file in another, a table create script in another, etc...

When an option is selected an submit button clicked, it reroutes you to a new page. so lets say the page lives on http://domain.com/landingPage i'm on: http://domain.com/landingPage i select option and submit takes me to http://domain.com/landingPage/Projects/FramedPage i select again and now the post tries to go to: http://domain.com/landingPage/Projects/landingPage/Projects/FramedPage because of the action="" i have set on the form tag.
