  • Software for building a sitemap.

    If I had to create a content inventory for a website that doesn't have a sitemap, and I do not have access to modify the website, but the site is very large. How can I build a sitemap out of that website without having to browse it entirely ? I tried with Visio's sitemap builder, but it fails great time. Let's say for example: I Want to create a sitemap of Stackoverflow. Do you guys know a software to build it ?

    im building a forum and now im gonna code the thread page. is there any open source thread script to use that resembles stackoverflow:s thread page with the actual thread, the replies and the comments? one which you could customize? i bet a lot of users have created such scripts, would be great to not having to reinvent the wheel. or is it a lot easier to code it yourself?

My follow-up question is this: I want to return an object that has both the user attributes and the race attributes. That way I can access, for example, the user's name and the fastest_time. Or, what about this situation: Dim bm As New Bitmap(32,32) bm = New Bitmap(32,32) bm = New Bitmap(32,32) bm = New Bitmap(32,32) Does bm need only to be disposed at the end, or should it be disposed before each re-creation?

Is there an equivalent of @ as applied to strings in Java: For example I can do @"c:\afolder\afile" in C# and have it ignore the escape characters when processing instead of having to do "c:\afolder\aFile". Is there a Java equivalent? hmmm: stackoverflow is escaping on me .. lol. The second example should read: c:(double-backslash)afolder(double-backslash)aFile

  • Why don't all XSLT templates get executed at once?

    Refer to: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1613454/retrieving-one-element-and-filter-by-another In the above linked posting, I don't understand why the two template blocks don't get executed upon in the incoming XML at the same time. As far I can can see, the XSL risks the second template executing for every Document element whether it is called with apply-templates or not. Could someone explain this to my stifled brain, please?     This is a follow-up question to my original query: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1791605/how-can-i-use-multiple-projects-to-separate-a-large-asp-net-mvc-site-into-departm Now that I have this working, is there a way to still have multiple project but not have to reference each child area from the parent project? Ideally I'd like to be able to have multiple, separate and distinct projects that only come together on the production/test machines. I should be able to build and test each "area" separately.

  • Visual studio 2010 Errors out on starting "-832" is not a valid value for property "width"

    My Visual Studio 2010 was working fine this morning (I run in in XP sP3 under Paralles) I restarted the entire laptop and I started getting this error. I even uninstalled VS2010, deleted the Visual Studio 20010 directory on the My Documents area and reinstalled it, and it is still giving me that error every time I try to start it. I'm not sure if stackoverflow is the place to ask it, but I am at my wits end trying to get this running again (trying to avoid rebuilding the entire Virtual PC) Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Question: How can you use the JQuery Auto-Completion plugin to suggest a location ("City, State") for an input field? Meaning, someone wants to type in "Chicago, IL" ... so they begin typing "Chi" and it auto-suggestions "Chicago, IL". My biggest hurdles is finding a service that I can query to find out all US city+state names. I essentially want to do what the StackOverflow "Tags" input form works but form "City, State" auto completion.
