  • How to communicate between C# and Wpf projects ?

    Hey folks , i'm working with 3 projects , one C# (let's called it A ) the other two are Wpf projects(let's call them B,C). The project B has a main window which contains a button ,when i press the button it shows the project "A" main's window .(i've done that by adding the right references and doing the code below in button click event handler : CsharpForm.Form1 d = new CsharpForm.Form1(); d.ShowDialog(); , but The Problem i have now is how do to the opposite ?? i have a button in project "C"(wpf one ) and want it to open a window of project "a" (C# ) Do u know any idea about this ?

Suppose My Project Name is TestProject1: Folder: TestProject1, LocalTestRun.testrunconfig, TestProject1.sln, TestProject1.suo, TestProject1.vsmdi And one more folder named: TestResults My requirement is i have many project and folders in solution and wanted to move the .vsmdi file and .tesrunconfig file and testrun folder to my specified location. Can i do this, if yes how can i do it.

  • My first MVVM application architecture setup

    Ok, time is coming for my first WPF project :). I work before with Flex and PureMVC and I know how project setup is important in RIA's. I decided to work with MVVM. And decided to work with PRISM framework. Application is somethin like operating system. There will be 'shell' (parent for smaller applications). Smaller application I plan to make like modules. So I plan to design structure of project something like this. Module_A {view, viewModel, model, assets} // for example calculator Module_B {view, viewModel, model, assets} // notebook etc I read prism doc and I see that parrent for all this modules should be shell project, and this is my main question here. Parrent_Project {App.xaml, Bootstrapper.cs, Shell.xaml} Because this shell will be fullscreen with background images (like operating system), right click with some features. Is that ok to create folder structure like in modulesXYZ for Shell.xaml here? I want to start project with good structure so any advice is welcome. Thanks

  • Visual studio 'View in Browser' shortcut to specific page?

    We are using Visual Studio 2008 and would like to know if there is a way to create a (keyboard or toolbar) shortcut for the 'View in Browser'-command, but with a specific page from a specific (loaded) project. We always start testing/debugging our app from "Somepage.aspx" from "Project-x". I would like to make a shortcut that does 'View in Browser' with this specific page/file, from this specific project. So even if I am currently working on another file in another project (from the same solution) it should still work... Anybody know if this is possible, and if so, how this can be achieved? Thanks!     Hi, I want to write stored procedure in visual studio that as a parameter recieves the name of project and runs in database TT and copies data from TT.dbo.LCTemp (where the LC is the name of the project recieved as a parameter) table to "TT.dbo.Points" table. both tables have 3 columns: PT_ID, Projectname and DateCreated I think I have written it wrong, here it is: ALTER PROCEDURE dbo.FromTmpToRegular @project varchar(10) AS BEGIN declare @ptID varchar(20) declare @table varchar(20) set @table = 'TT.dbo.' + @project + 'Temp' set @ptID = @table + '.PT_ID' Insert into TT.dbo.Points Select * from [@table] where [@ptID] Not in(Select PT_ID from TT.dbo.Points) END Any idea what I did wrong?   • Setup sonar-runner for multiple java projects

    I am trying to run sonar-runner to analyze multiple Java projects in one go. According to the documentation http://docs.codehaus.org/display/SONAR/Analyse+with+a+simple+Java+Runner it is just a matter of creating a sonar-project.properties file for each project. But it is not clear to me where exactly I have to put these sonar-project.properties files. I tried to add multiple .properties files in the $SONAR_RUNNER_HOME/conf folder but the runner does not seem to pick them up. It only sees the sonar-project.properties file. Any suggestions on how to run sonar-runner for multiple projects?

  • How to use a VB usercontrol on a C# page?

    Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction. I've created a usercontrol in VB that handles paging more efficiently than the DataPager (at least for very large datasets). I'd like to use it in a C# project, but I've been having trouble getting it to work. I've tried simply adding PagingControl.ascx to the C# project, but when I do that the markup and VB code behind don't seem to see each other. --Is this a namespace issue? I've tried adding the PagingControl.ascx to its own VB project, then adding that project to the C# project's solution, as well as a reference. --That almost works. I can register the PagingControl usercontrol in the markup. I can access the usercontrol's properties in the code behind, but any property that involves the UI of the usercontrol fails. Its seems as if the usercontrol's form hasn't had a chance to load by the time the C# page's Page_Load event handler fires. --Maybe this is an "order of operations" problem? At what point in the C# page's lifetime should a usercontrol's form be loaded? If anyone has any ideas or insight, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    I got a "Project A" in repository. But in that project I'm using a library, which is hosted on Google Code. There is my question: is there any way, to have that library files "hooked" to Google Code SVN, and simultaneously my project in my repo (it's parent to that library), so I can commit library files into my repository when I decide, that outer project revision is ok? I've tried to do checkout in the library folder, files were downloaded from Google's Code repository. But I that case wasn't able to add them to my repository - they weren't visible in "Add" window.

    FIRSTLY apologies for english, embarased i am afghanistone i am team america no worrie u had large program that store not only config but a bunch other project relation settings in SQLite db. how can I save the db as project.newb file extension and thencan auto open in my porgram??? need INstaller setting?? How do i detect when this has happened, user open .newb file, happen in Qt, so i can load project? PLEASE HELP i fear family life if unable completed
