  Hi, I would do something like this* select * from cars_table where body not equal to null. select * from cars_table where values not equal to null And id = "3" I know the syntax for 'not equal' is <, but i get an empty results. For the second part, I want to get a result set where it only returns the columns that have a value. So, if the value is null, then don't include that column. Thanks

In Safari or Chrome, I can tab into a radio group, and select a radio button with arrow keys, but the change event never fires. Am I missing something?

Understandably, data is getting cut off randomly; and the reason for that is explained here. As a solution, the page suggests using a "second sql select" instead of a join. How can I convert my existing criteria query (which has joins using createAlias()) to use a nested select instead?

  For some unknown reason I'm running into a problem when passing a variable to a full text search stored procedure performs many times slower than executing the same statement with a constant value. Any idea why and how can that be avoided? This executes very fast: SELECT * FROM table WHERE CONTAINS (comments, '123') This executes very slowly and times out: DECLARE @SearchTerm nvarchar(30) SET @SearchTerm = '123' SET @SearchTerm = '"' + @SearchTerm + '"' SELECT * FROM table WHERE CONTAINS (comments, @SearchTerm) Does this make any sense???

  Hi, The build_acl action works on localhost but on the shared sever it gives the following error: Warning (512): SQL Error: 1104: The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay [CORE/cake/libs/model/datasources/dbo_source.php, line 549] I cannot change the MAX_JOIN_SIZE value because of the lack of admin privileges. I read in some forum that deleting cache solves the problem, but even that's not working for me. Thanks, Mayank

  Hi guys: I do this query(1): (1)SELECT * FROM t1 WHERE title LIKE 'key%' LIMIT 1 I need to do a second(2) query only if this previous query has no results (2)SELECT * FROM t1 WHERE title LIKE '%key%' LIMIT 1 basically i need only 1 row who got the most close title to my key.
