  • llvm preprocessor g++ passes

    - by anon
Suppose I want to write my own preprocessor. So I want something like this: all *.cpp and *.hpp (even the included ones), before they go to g++, they go: file --> my preprocessor -> g++ Is there a easy way to do this in the LLVM framework? i.e. to add in a stage that says: "after you load up the source file, pipe it through this program before compling it" ? Thanks!

  • fire jquery .animate oninput only once

    - by luke
http://jsfiddle.net/nFFuD/ I'm trying to animate the search field in this example using jquery, making it move to the top of it's containing div oninput. I was originally using scriptaculous effect.move to do this, but I couldn't make the event only fire once, so if someone kept typing after the first keystroke, the effect would stop and start again from it's current position in the animation for each additional keystroke, which is stupid. I'm new to new to using jquery so please, take it easy if I'm not making very much sense.

  • Can Django be used for non web apps?

    - by Leeks and Leaks
I noticed in the main Django introductin they show a feature that maps python objects to the database. This doesn't strike me as being mutually exclusive with with development, is there any reason why this can't be used for non web apps? Is it easy to separate out?

  • How to get a random node from a tree?

    - by ooboo
It looks easy, but I found the implementation tricky. I need that for a simple genetic programming problem I'm trying to implement. The function should, given a node, return the node itself or any of its children such that the probability of choosing a node is normally distributed relative to its depth (so the function should return mostly middle nodes, but sometimes the root itself or the lowest ones - but that's not really necessary if that makes it significantly more complex, if all any node is chosen with equal probability, that's good enough). Thanks

  • Low Voting {API(Five Star)} Feedback

    - by D.J.
Is there any module in drupal which provides low rating feedback. eg If someone wants to vote a content as <= 2 (out of 5). Before he does so, there will be a pop up window displaying text "Are you sure you want to rate so low?" etc. If there is no such module then is there any easy way of doing it?

  • How do I combine two interfaces when creating mocks?

    - by sduplooy
We are using Rhino Mocks to perform some unit testing and need to mock two interfaces. Only one interface is implemented on the object and the other is implemented dynamically using an aspect-oriented approach. Is there an easy way to combine the two interfaces dynamically so that a mock can be created and the methods stubbed for both interfaces?

    - by Michel
hi, i have a date in this format : dd.mm.yyyy when i instantiate a javascript date with it, it gives me a NaN in c# i can specify a dateformat, to say: here you have my string, it's in this format, please make a Datetime of it. is this possible in javascript too, and if not, is there an easy way? i would prefer not to use a substring for day, substring for month etc. because my method must also be capable of german, italian, english etc dates.

  • Creating a C# DLL and using it from unmanaged C++

    - by John
I have a native (unmanaged) C++ application (using wxWidgets for what it's worth). I'm considering a separate tool application to be written in C# which would contain winform-based dialogs. putting some of those dialogs in a separate DLL would be useful as I'd hope to be able to use them from my C++ app. But I have no idea how much messing about is needed to accomplish this, is it particularly easy?

  • Finding C#-style unescaped strings using regular expressions

    - by possan
I'm trying to write a regular expression that finds C#-style unescaped strings, such as string x = @"hello world"; The problem I'm having is how to write a rule that handles double quotes within the string correctly, like in this example string x = @"before quote ""junk"" after quote"; This should be an easy one, right?

  • Git: Checkout only files without repository?

    - by Max
Hi, i'd like to just checkout the files without the .git files and the whole repository. It's because i'd like to manage a website (php & html) with git and i'm looking for an easy way to update the files in the htdocs folder from the repository, without having the repository public. (now it's in the home-dir and is accessed via ssh, but i have to put the new files to htdocs manually.

  • A simple, clean web layout

    - by Shaun_web
Ok, so I hate CSS/HTML graphic design... What do you guys recommend as a sample template or website that you think has great CSS and html layout? From my past experience it's best to get a page that has a white background and little dependency on graphics -- that's clean, and easy to modify ;-).

  • What UIKit elements can be used to replicate the App Store/iTunes Store paged grid?

    - by user350523
I'm new to Cocoa Touch, so this might be pretty easy, but I can't seem to figure out what UIKit elements were used to create a grid like this? Is this simply a UITableView with a pagination controller? If so, how'd they style it like this? Thanks! PS: I'm not allowed to post images yet, i guess. hopefully the link works... http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/8523/screenshot20100525at941.png

  • Change stack order in mobile view at 1140 grid?

    - by iHaveacomputer
I want to implement the 1140grid at my site. The layout is pretty simple: 100% header 25% sidebar 75% page 100% footer see also http://jsfiddle.net/KB5Nq/ the problem is that i would like to change the stack order when the site is in mobile view: 100% header 100% page 100% sidebar 100% footer however, by default it arranges the blocks in the same order as they appear in the source code: header, sidebar, page, footer. is there an easy css-only fix for that?
