    Hi to all, i am trying to setup a multidimensional array but my problem is that i can not get the right order from incoming data. Explain $x[1][11]=11; $x[1]=1; var_dump($x); In the above code i get only x[1]. To right would be $x[1]=1; $x[1][11]=11; var_dump($x); But in my case i can dot ensure that x[1] will come first, and x[1][11] will come after. Is there any way that i can use the first example and get right the array. Keep in mind that the array depth is large. Thats

    I'd like to use foreach to loop though an array list and add an element to each array. $tom = array('aa','bb','cc'); $sally = array('xx','yy','zz'); $myArrays = array('tom','sally'); foreach($myArrays as $arrayName) { ${$arrayName}[] = 'newElement'; } Is the use of ${$arrayName}[] the best way to do this? Is there another option rather than using curly braces? It currently works but I'm just wondering if there is a better alternative. Thanks

Right now the script currently: Saves Id, Name, Url with a "|" delimiter to a text file Db like: 1|John|http://www.john.com| 2|Mark|http://www.mark.com| 3|Fred|http://www.fred.com| But I'm having a hard time trying to make the "UPDATE" and "DELETE" buttons work.     I have an api listener script which takes in get parameters. But I seem to be having issues when users tend to pass mixed case variable names on the parameters. For example: http://mylistenerurl.com?paramName1=Hello&paramname2=World I need my listener to be flixible in such a way that the variable names will be interpreted case-insensitively or rather still all in lower case like after I process the query string on some function, they are all returned as lower-cased variables: extract(someFunction($_GET)); process($paramname1, $paramname2); Can anybody shed some light on this? *much appreciated. thanks!

    Hi, I was wondering, what would be the best way to validate an integer.     Does anyone know a solution to this problem? I'm unable to open a subdirectory within a symboliclink'd directory. I've confirmed that the paths are correct (even copy & pasted the path into explorer, which parsed it fine). This is a strange, annoying, bug :|.     I've ran into trouble with SOAP, I've never had this issue before and can't find any information on line that helps me solve it. The following code $wsdl = "path/to/my/wsdl"; $client = new SoapClient($wsdl, array('trace' => true)); //$$textinput is passed in and is a very large string with rows in <item></item> tags $soapInput = new SoapVar($textinput, XSD_ANYXML); $res = $client->dataprofilingservice(array("contents" => $soapInput)); $response = $client->__getLastResponse(); var_dump($res);//outputs null var_dump($response);//provides the proper response as I would expect. I've tried passing params into the SoapClient constructor to define soap version but that didnt' help. I've also tried it with the trace param set to false and not present which as expected made $response null but $res was still null. I've tried the code on both a linux and windows install running Apache. The function definition in the WSDL is (xxxx is for security reasons) <portType name="xxxxServiceSoap"> <operation name="dataprofilingservice"> <input message="tns:dataprofilingserviceSoapIn"/> <output message="tns:dataprofilingserviceSoapOut"/> </operation> </portType> I have it working using the __getLastResponse() but its annoying me it will not work properly. The problem is that the data is completed correctly on the form but the images are not uploaded. Can anyone help with advices/code/guidance?
