    I am currently working on a project where we were wanting to add PostSharp functionality. I have set up my Postsharp attribute as so [Serializable] public class NLogTraceAttribute : OnMethodBoundaryAspect { private readonly string _logLevel; ILogger logger; public NLogTraceAttribute(string logLevel) { _logLevel = logLevel; logger = new Logger("TraceAttribute"); } public override void OnEntry(MethodExecutionArgs args) { LogAction("Enter", args); } public override void OnExit(MethodExecutionArgs args) { LogAction("Leave", args); } private void LogAction(string action, MethodExecutionArgs args) { var argumentsInfo = args.GetArgumentsInfo(); logger.Log(_logLevel, "{0}: {1}.{2}{3}", action, args.Method.DeclaringType.Name, args.Method.Name, argumentsInfo); } } and trying to use it as [NLogTrace(NLogLevel.Debug)] However when compiling the project I am getting the following error: Error 26 Cannot serialize the aspects: Type 'NLog.Logger' in Assembly 'NLog, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5120e14c03d0593c' is not marked as serializable..     I've seen other questions about this exception, but all of them seem to be resolved with the solution that a row with the primary key specified already exists. This doesn't seem to be the case for me. I have tried replacing all single quotes in my strings with double quotes, but the same problem occurs. My local machine is a running vista home edition and the production environment is windows server 2003. The error is not being thrown in my code, it happens during serialization. I called the method on the proxy, I have checked the arguments and they are OK. I have also logged the SOAP request and response, and they both look OK as well. I am really at a loss here. Any ideas?   • Cannot get admob working: configChanges error

    I know there are some topics about it, but the reason I start this one is I appear not to be able to solve it with solutions given. I want to add admob to my project. I downloaded GoogleAdMobAdsSdk-6.2.1 and added it to my project. When I startup it says You must have AdActivity declared in AndroidManifest with configChanges. So solution found, set it to: android:configChanges="keyboard|keyboardHidden|orientation|screenLayout|uiMode|screenSize|smallestScreenSize" and <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="3" android:targetSdkVersion="15" /> Clean it, try again. But now I get an error saying following although my targetSdkVersion is set to be min 12, I really don't know why I am still getting this error: String types not allowed (at 'configChanges' with value 'keyboard|keyboardHidden|orientation| screenLayout|uiMode|screenSize|smallestScreenSize') Any ideas on this? There might be another setting wrong which I looked over?

For the mechanize gem, I keep getting the "Missing these required gems" error when I run db:migrate on my production server.     I am using g++ to compile some code. Error 1: invalid conversion from ‘int’ to ‘std::_Ios_Openmode’ Error 2: initializing argument 2 of ‘std::basic_filebuf<_CharT, _Traits* std::basic_filebuf<_CharT, _Traits::open(const char*, std::_Ios_Openmode) [with _CharT = char, _Traits = std::char_traits]’ As far as I could tell from a Google search, g++ is actually breaking the C++ standard here. Which I find quite astonishing, since they generally conform very strictly to the standard. Is this the case? Or am I doing something wrong.     i have oracle11g desktop. For my project I create 3 databases via configuration assistant tools. Then I delete one of them and after this I have the error: ora-12560. By mistake both of my databases have the same pasword, for example: when i want to connect one of these data bases with system user, i have one pasword and perhaps the databases dont know connect which one. I start all services set oracle_sid=orcl. I run lsnrctl tnsping check tansname.ora & my listener.ora and I logon with sysdba@oracle_sid but i have this error again pleas help me tnx

    While trying to implement the second answer to a previous question, I am receiving an error. I have implemented the methods just as the post shows, and the first three work properly. The fourth one (HomeController_Delete_Action_Handler_Should_Redirect_If_Model_Successfully_Delete) gives this error: Could not find a parameter named 'controller' in the result's Values collection. If I change the code to: actual .AssertActionRedirect() .ToAction("Index"); it works properly, but I don't like the "magic string" in there and prefer to use the lambda method that the other poster used. Document load is being skipped during this solution load in order to avoid that error. It shut down immediately the first time I opened it. The next time I opened it, VS popped up a message box but did not shut down at first; however, it did shut down when I clicked a usercontrol or ASPX page. How can I find which document is causing the problem? Thanks...

    Hello I'm trying to run JUnit4 test cases on Eclipse 3.4.2 but it's not even starting for me. I am sure that I properly have junit-4.7.jar in my build path and the test application. Here is a simple example that illustrates my problem package test; import org.junit.Before; import org.junit.Test; public class UTest { @Test public void test() { } @Before public void setUp() throws Exception { } } This compiles fine Then I do "Run JUnit Test case" from Eclipse and I get an error dialog with this message "Launching UTest' has encountered a problem An internal error occurred during: "Launching UTest". java.lang.NullPointerException I'm not sure how to figure out what exactly generating this NullPointerException. Some pointers would be appreciated

When calling the CreateMailbox method I am receiving the error "Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component". I have installed and referenced the Exchange Management Tools and am using impersonation for permissions.     Hi, I am migrating a website over to a new server, its in ASP and uses several Access databases, the site and CMS can read, display the data, and even edit and update existing data entries, but when I want to add a new entry, I get an error...   • VB 2010 Express - Debugger is not breaking on errors, Sub producing error simply terminates

    I'm using VB 2010 Express. When an error occurs in the form load function, the form load function simply terminates. Then, when I click on one of my buttons, the button click sub also terminates if it has an error. I can wrap the code that produces the errors in try/catch blocks, but I'd very much rather the debugger to throw an immediate break point (like usual) or at least exit the program. It's making it very difficult to program, not knowing whether or not previous Subs executed fully. Any thoughts on what might be going on? Thanks
