  • What is a good free ODBC viewer?

    At my job I have to work with three different databases. One is a SQL Server 2008, for which I use SQL Server Management Studio, and another is MySQL, for which I use the MySQL tools. The third however is a Cache database that I can only access through a ODBC connection. Currently I use the SLIK software ODBC View tool to access it, but it is severely lacking when compared with the other two tools. Can anyone recommend a good tool for this type of work?

    assume there are three group of high dimension vectors: {a_1, a_2, ..., a_N}, {b_1, b_2, ... , b_N}, {c_1, c_2, ..., c_N}. each of my vector can be represented as: x = a_i + b_j + c_k, where 1 <=i, j, k <= N. then the vector is encoded as (i, j, k) wich is then can be decoded as x = a_i + b_j + c_k. my question is, if there are two vector: x = (i_1, j_1, k_1), y = (i_2, j_2, k_2), is there a method to compute the euclidian distance of these two vector without decode x and y.

If I have these 3 classes: class Student { int id; string name } class Course { int id, string name } class Enrolment { int studentId; int courseId; } How would I use LINQ to get a list of courses a student is enrolled on? (assume I have an IList of all three classes)

    I've looked around for an answer to this, no luck. what i want to do is replace: http://localhost/mysite/admin/something with: http://localhost/mysite/admin/?p=something Here's the best formula I came up with since yesterday: RewriteEngine On RewriteBase /mysite/ RewriteRule ^(superv/)([^\?/]+)$ $1\?p=$2 [NC] Yet it's not working. Note: It think the "RewriteBase" thingy has nothing to do with the problem because this line is working like a charm: RewriteRule ^(javascripts/main\.js)$ $1\.php [NC] Any ideas? thanks in advance.

    Hi I am using visual studios 2010 and created a javascript file(jscript.js) and I saw on one page saying you can make constant variables in javascript like: const x = 20; bu to on another page I read it says you can't. So I am confused now what is it now? Also in Visual studios when I write "const" it underlines it in the javascript file and goes syntax error.

    I have a three column Table View populated by two NSMutableDictionaries which share the same keys (ie key | value1 | value2 ) with dict1(key,value1) and dict2(key,value2). I want to manually enter data in the third column and create the key/value objects in dict2.     wow i thought i knew python untill tonight.. what is the correct way to do something like this.. heres my code a = ["one", "two", "three"] b = a #here i want a complete copy that when b is changed, has absolutely no effect on a b.append["four"] print a #a now has "four" in it.. so basically i want to know, instead of the b = a step, how would i correctly make a copy of a list or dictionary so that when b is changed a does not change along with it.. thanks guys
